Health and beauty retailer Boots have made their own No7 brand a household name when it comes to makeup and skincare. Lately though, the brand has championed when it comes to making new innovative products.
One of their latest - the Future Renew Damage Reversal Night Serum - rose to be an essential beauty product amongst skincare enthusiasts. When it launched in April this year, it sold one every seven seconds, making it the bestselling skincare product on the Boots website.

No7's Future Renew Night Serum has been clinically proven to reverse signs of visible skin damage and its formula is backed by science. For money-saving tips, sign up to our Money newsletter here
Created with years of research with the University of Manchester, it's No7's most scientifically advanced night serum using chronotechnology to sync with your skin's natural overnight repair cycle.
Another serum that uses similar technology is the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex, which uses Chronolux Power Signal Technology, designed to enhance the skin's natural repair and renewal processes.
Launched earlier this year, the No7 Future Renew Night Serum is proving popular with skincare fans

The No7 formula contains a world-first super peptide blend, designed to reverse visible signs of skin damage, including fine lines, wrinkles, uneven tone and texture, and dry skin, say Boots.
It also includes Lindera Strychnifolia, a plant extract that helps strengthen the skin's internal clock and boost nighttime repair signals, alongside hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C and E.
Ahead of its launch, journalist Bethan Shufflebotham blind-tested the serum. She said: "Within two weeks, friends started commenting on how glowy my skin looked and by week four, I noticed a real shift - my usual redness had calmed down significantly, and the texture of my skin felt smoother and more refined."
After using the serum for 10 weeks, my blemishes were reduced and my skin looked more radiant with better texture
She added: "By the eight-week mark, my blemishes had reduced, my complexion looked more even, and my skin felt clearer and more resilient overall.
"I enjoyed using it so much, I've kept it in my regular skincare rotation and find myself regularly reaching for it. I especially like the relaxing DreamScentz hypoallergenic fragrance, which is a really lovely way to wind down at the end of the day."
Some people may still be looking for an anti-ageing product with a little more power behind it, though. In which case, Medik8's Crystal Retinal is an incredibly popular.
Despite No7's serum not containing Vitamin A, Boots say it is clinically proven to reverse visible signs of skin damage in 100% of users, and has racked up some impressive reviews on the Boots website, too.
One 86-year-old reviewer noticed visible improvement, commenting: "Really good. I am 86, but I'm sure there is a difference since using both serums ." Another wrote: "I'm heading for my mid-70s and I really can see a difference for the better - just wish it wasn't so expensive."
Another said: "My skin feels and looks healthy. People have noticed my facial skin and asked me if I have been on holiday. I reply no and then they ask how I have attained such lovely skin."
One shopper has been using the product for two months and said: "This is the only product that I used differently in my routine, so I know that this must be the one making the difference. My skin looks healthier and feels smoother, and my fine lines are less noticeable."
The main criticisms the product has received, though, are regarding the price to product ratio. One wrote: "A very good product but the price for 25ml seems a bit steep. Doesn't last long at all and I've been very sparing."
Another added: "I liked the product but after three weeks using it once a day it ran out. It did not last long enough to see if it did anything. I have never spent so much on a face product before."
A 25ml bottle of the No7 Future Renew Night Serum comes in at £39.95, but shoppers can get double the amount of product for £49.95 with the 50ml tube. And, by stacking some current deals at Boots, shoppers could get it even cheaper, too.

It's also on three for two with the cheapest item being free, meaning customers can get three 50ml tubes for £94.90. And finally, anyone who uses the code REVERSE10 at the checkout can get £10 off, slashing the overall cost to £84.90 - averaging at £28.30 per tube.

I use my most boring Christmas present everyday and it's remarkable - now it's the cheapest ever at under £20
I use my most boring Christmas present everyday and it's remarkable - now it's the cheapest ever at under £20 The Hangsun Water Flosser is currently on sale on Amazon with 26% off and is available in two different colours I got a water flosser last Christmas which is now currently 26% off on Amazon ahead of its Prime Day 2025 sale event (Image: WalesOnline ) As the daughter of a dentist, I've been acutely aware of oral and dental health from an early age. My daily routine includes brushing my teeth two to three times, flossing every night, and attending regular dental check-ups. So, it's perhaps not a surprise that my Christmas wish list included what some might consider one of the most uninspiring gifts - a water flosser. Several mates had mentioned their use of water flossers, with one even claiming their dentist noticed its impact during a recent check-up. This piqued my interest in acquiring my own water flosser, a device I thought was handy for further ensuring the health of my gums and teeth. From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here . READ MORE: Amazon rolls out ultra-fast grocery deliveries in 15 minutes LATEST: 'Flawless' undereye beauty buy that lasts all day now less than £30 at Sephora It's worth noting, however, that it's not advised to substitute traditional flossing with a water flosser. In fact, Oral-B suggests incorporating both into your routine, along with brushing your teeth at least twice every day. Nonetheless, a water flosser can be a more suitable alternative to string floss for those with sensitive gums, braces, or issues with dexterity. While I don't have any of these concerns, it seemed like a sensible choice for me. Hangsun Water Flossers for Teeth Cordless Oral Irrigator Dental Water Jet Electric Tooth Flosser comes with eight jet tips and a 300ml water tank (Image: Amazon ) At Christmas, I received the Hangsun Water Flossers for Teeth as a gift, which, despite its unglamorous nature, has proven to be a highly practical present that I anticipate using for a considerable time. Fellow customers have praised the product for its "powerful" and "easy to use" design. In the past, the white and blue version of this water flosser has been available on Amazon with a 52% discount, originally priced at £42.99 and then reduced to £20.70. The black version, which I own, had a 28% discount, bringing the price down from £29.99 to £21.49. But now, ahead of Amazon Prime Day deals, which begins at midnight on Tuesday, July 8, until 11.59pm on Friday, July 11, the water flosser is the cheapest it has ever been. You can find out more about Amazon Prime Day deals, including how to get involved here. The water flosser comes with three different modes - normal, soft and pulse (Image: WalesOnline ) Customers can get the white and blue version of the water flosser for £19.99 down from £26.99, while the black version was £29.99 but is now £22.99. Upon unwrapping the gift, I discovered that the flosser comes equipped with eight distinct jet tips, including orthodontic tips suitable for those with braces, tongue cleaner tips, periodontal tips for gum care, and standard jet tips for daily oral hygiene. Although I have yet to utilise all the provided tips, the ones I have tried have consistently demonstrated impressive power and effectiveness. The device also features a 300ml water tank, is battery-powered, and can be recharged via USB, making it suitable for both travel and home use. As stated on Amazon, this device promotes healthy gums through gentle yet thorough cleaning. While I didn't specifically request this product, I'm delighted to have received the Hangsun Water Flosser, as its performance can be aptly described as "thorough". The Hangsun water flosser has received an impressive 4.3 out of five-star rating on Amazon, with over 22,000 reviews. One satisfied customer described it as "brilliant" and said: "I've always struggled with using tape floss or interdental brushes, so this is a game changer for me." They continued: "I've used it daily since getting it. It's easy to use, impressively powerful, and the charge lasted for a good 21 days. I found cold water a little too uncomfortable for me, so I just add a little warm water to take the edge off. "The good size of the reservoir means I only have to refill once to do my whole mouth and there is no leakage. The extra nozzles make the price good value. My teeth feel really clean, just as they do after an appointment with my hygienist. I couldn't be more pleased." However, not all customers were satisfied with their purchase. One reviewer expressed disappointment, saying: "I bought this water-flosser to replace a different make that had worked well but stopped working after a couple of months. "The Hangsun was delivered really promptly. What wasn't clear from the description on Amazon - or from the initial email response from Customer Service, when I contacted them - was that there is no choice of pressure settings for the jet of water that it delivers. "The only adjustment is to the rate it pulses at. The pressure of the jet it delivers is extremely high (far, far stronger than than the maximum setting on my previous one) If you buy this flosser, make sure your tongue is well clear of the jet of water when doing the backs of your teeth - or it kills!". "However, this issue wouldn't have stopped me using it. The big problem I had was that, unlike my previous flosser, the Hangsun simply wasn't cleaning between my teeth properly. "The water simply wasn't passing through the gaps between my teeth - particularly my lower ones which are quite closely packed (I can only use the small orange teepees to clean between them)". From the get-go, I found the device's operation intuitive due to its design - it features a simple 'on/off' button that requires just a quick press to activate or deactivate. It also has a lid for the water tank situated at the back and offers various flossing modes: 'soft', 'normal', and 'pulse'. As expected, the product was initially set to the 'normal' mode, which I found a bit too harsh on my teeth, prompting me to switch to the 'soft' mode as a gentler introduction to the device. By now however, I can use the 'normal' mode with confidence. I incorporate the water flosser into my nightly routine, using it in conjunction with a dental floss stick and tooth brushing. On the third occasion of using the water flosser, I noticed a slight sensitivity in one tooth, so I followed up the flossing with a sensitive-teeth toothpaste as a precaution, which seemed to do the trick. Each time I use this water flosser, my teeth feel noticeably cleaner, a fact underscored when I proceed to floss with a dental stick immediately after using the flosser. The process of threading the nylon between my teeth is significantly smoother than before. Customers can get the white and blue version of this water flosser for £19.99 down from £26.99, while the black version was £29.99 but is now £22.99, in Amazon Prime Day deal (Image: WalesOnline ) The sensation is similar to having undergone a thorough clean, scale, and polish at the hands of a dental hygienist. While I'm genuinely pleased with this purchase, it's worth noting that this device is incredibly potent, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. On the upside, you can rest assured that this device will deliver as promised on the packaging; however, it might take a bit of time initially to acclimatise to its power. In my early experiences with this flosser, I struggled to manage the direction of its force. However, I soon discovered that the key is to position the jet in your mouth and close your lips before powering it on. The trajectory of the jet spray is clear, allowing you to guide the flossing process accordingly. Just remember to switch it off before opening your mouth to expel the water. Another factor to bear in mind before making a purchase is the size of the item. With an attached 300ml water tank and standing at 32cm tall (including the jet tips), it's quite a substantial piece of kit. Nevertheless, if you're new to water flossing, this is an excellent device to consider. Free Amazon Prime membership £8.99 Free Amazon Get Prime here Product Description Fancy free takeaway delivery? Gisou's new honey gloss shampoo and conditioner gave my hair 'all-day bounce'
If you're one for healthy, head-turning hair, then chances are you've heard of Gisou – but you might not have caught wind of the brand's latest release, it's honey gloss ceramide therapy hydrating shampoo and conditioner (£42, This isn't the brand's first foray into shampoo and conditioner. In fact rather, its honey-infused hair wash duo (shampoo: £29, and conditioner: £26, is a bestseller. But, while the original formulas delivered hydration, nourishment and mirror-like shine, the honey gloss range takes things further and offers all that and more, including a unique scalp-balancing complex. What does this mean? In short, it's gentler on the scalp to prevent excess oil production, all while locking in hydration and sloughing away at dead skin. Of course, this sounds great in theory, but I wanted to get hands-on and see these gloss-boosting (and grease-banishing) benefits in real time. Lucky for me, I got hold of the new formulas more than two weeks before they went live. Scroll on for my verdict. How I tested The products landed on my desk around two and a half weeks prior to their 7 July launch. In that time, I proceeded with my usual every-other-day wash routine, following the age-old advice of rinsing and repeating at the shampoo stage. I then brushed the conditioner through my wet hair, leaving it to sit for around two to five minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Though the brand advises that its new formulas '[eliminate] the need for multiple hair care products', they don't offer heat protection, so I continued to apply my usual heat protection spray before blow-drying and styling. Throughout this process, I paid attention to the lather created in-shower and how much product was required. I judged how easy the conditioner was to comb through my wet hair and noted any immediate textural changes after rinsing. While using my hair dryer, I made sure to examine the moisture (or lack thereof) around my scalp, noting any grease build-up or volume in this area. Lastly, after using my Dyson airwrap id, I watched to see how well my styling – particularly the face-framing pieces – held with the weight of the Gisou formulas, and if my ends appeared hydrated or dry. Why you can trust IndyBest reviews As IndyBest's beauty writer, Lucy has spent the past year reviewing a myriad of haircare products, from Olaplex dupes to the Babyliss air wand. She's interviewed hair stylists – including Amy Short, aka Claudia Winkleman's hairdresser – and is well versed in all things keratin, argan oil and more. Lucy ensures to pay due diligence to every formula she tests and, with the Gisou honey gloss shampoo and conditioner, gave the formulas several weeks to impress. Here's how she got on.
