Stars Crowd Shows Love For Famous Band
A loss can't be all that bad, can it?
There is a reason why they play seven games in every playoff series. On Saturday night, the Dallas Stars suffered (yet another) Game 1 loss. They dropped a 5-1 decision to the Colorado Avalanche.

New Stars Acquisition Receives Unique Honor
New Stars Acquisition Receives Unique Honor Hockey is a team game.
But, on the bright side, whoever attended the game received a free karaoke show.
The Avalanche were up 1-0 with about five minutes left in the middle frame, when the song 'Higher' by the band Creed was playing on the speakers. However, when the song cut out, the crowd wasn't done enjoying the music.
In the clip above, it's a little tricky to distinguish the song playing from the announcers and the noise made by the crowd. When the speakers cut out and stop playing the song, though, the crowd displayed their knowledge of the hit song with enthusiasm.

Creed is preparing to launch a North American tour. The world-famous band is making an appearance at the Stagecoach Festival on Saturday, April 26th. Their new tour begins July 9th in Lexington, Kentucky and culminates in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada.
For Stars fans, hopefully, the team can take Creed's advice and find a 'higher' level to their game for Game 2 of this first-round series.

WNBA Player Embarrassingly Denied Entry At Club After All-Star Game
WNBA Player Embarrassingly Denied Entry At Club After All-Star Game originally appeared on The Spun. A WNBA All-Star had an embarrassing time trying to get into a club while in Indianapolis for the All-Star Weekend. While streaming on Twitch, Minnesota Lynx guard Courtney Williams tried to get into a nightclub, but the bouncer wouldn't let her cut the line. Williams appeared almost outraged that the security personnel wouldn't give her any VIP treatment. "Bruh, we in the 'W' and (expletive) and we just got done at the All-Star Game," Williams said. "So, I'm sorry, I'm not even trying to be funny but we should not be waiting in no line." Things got a little more awkward later that night when Williams apparently went to Sports Illustrated party featuring world-renown DJ Diplo. Williams apparently demanded at one point that Diplo stop playing EDM music and change the music playlist to some hip-hop. While some fans took issue with Williams acting entitled, Diplo took it in stride: "I loved this party and I love a challenge as a dj. I was booked with the amazing @carlypearce . we had a country vibe going - if all the studs and WNBA All Stars want to turn up I'm goin to run it .. its not hard for me to go from country/ house / hip hop and take everyone on a journey and be as inclusive as possible . If Courtney comes with this energy I'm gonna match it - check my setlist from Saturday night in Indiana.. its a party for everyone where else but mid west America can we do this?" he wrote on X. For most of the rest of the world, Williams has now become a pretty polarizing player. She has no shortage of fans and is currently enjoying one of the best seasons of her career. But many new WNBA fans have quickly found that they're just not her target audience (to put it very mildly). All it all, it was a pretty good weekend for Williams on the court. Off the court, maybe not as Player Embarrassingly Denied Entry At Club After All-Star Game first appeared on The Spun on Jul 22, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Jul 22, 2025, where it first appeared.

How to get Paul McCartney tickets: Denver, Las Vegas, Chicago, and more
With three years having passed since the start of Paul McCartney's Got Back Tour, and a similar amount of time since he last did a North American leg, the legend is back on this side of the pond and ready to hit the stage for his eager audience. The Got Back Tour kicks off in September with a show in Palm Desert, California, and is set to run for 19 performances. With his long-running tour not having had North American shows in some time, it's no surprise that tickets are nearing sold-out status already. Luckily, there are still a few avenues available if you're looking for how to buy tickets to Paul McCartney's 2025 Got Back Tour stops. The Got Back Tour, which originally began in 2022, saw Paul McCartney join with the likes of Rusty Anderson on guitar, Brian Ray on guitar and bass, Paul "Wix" Wickens on keyboards, and Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums, along with the brass trio Hot City Horns. The original tour was set to wrap up after 14 stops; however, due to the great success it saw, McCartney announced he would extend it. These extensions continued into both 2023 and 2024, where the star took to the stage across Australia, Europe, and South America. 2025 marks his much-anticipated return to North America, and presently, the tour is set to finish up in November. We've got you covered if you're looking to score tickets to see Paul McCartney's much-anticipated Got Back Tour 2025 North American leg this fall.
