Brad Pitt's ‘biggest regret' revealed after settling ‘toxic' Angelina Jolie divorce: report
Brad Pitt has a new outlook on life following his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
The F1 star, who recently opened up about life's 'struggles' during the latest episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast, wants to move forward and put the past behind him.
'The divorce is something that had been controlling his life for so many years,' a source told Us Weekly of his split from the Maleficent star. 'He loved her and he knows he made mistakes.'
'It was such a divisive, toxic situation,' the insider added of their divorce that took eight years to finalise, per Page Six.

Pitt and Jolie started dating in 2004. They tied the knot 10 years later, but the marriage only lasted two years. Throughout their 12-year romance, they expanded their family and now share six children together: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Following the split, however, Pitt's relationship with his kids became strained as he and the Girl, Interrupted actress spent years fighting over custody.
The events surrounding their split — like the 2016 plane incident and his battle with alcoholism — 'turned the kids against him.' However, Pitt 'doesn't blame [Jolie] for everything,' the insider said.
Pitt also hopes to make things right with his kids. His 'biggest regret is he can't repair this,' the source revealed. 'The case is over but there are no winners.'
'To have that behind him is a relief. But on the other hand, it's been hard for him because he doesn't have a great relationship with his kids.'
The actor is now dating Ines de Ramon. Picture:Since the split, Pitt, 61, has been working on his sobriety and it has reportedly changed his perspective on life.
'Ever since he stopped drinking, everything has changed,' the insider said.
During a June appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Pitt told listeners that he went to AA meetings while 'pretty much on [his] knees' and needing to 'wake the f**k up.'
The Golden Globe winner recalled, 'I was trying anything and everything, anything anyone threw at me. … It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting.'
However, Jolie, 50, 'is still not in a place where she is going to forgive him or ever will,' the insider told Us Weekly in their report published on Thursday.
The insider explained that Pitt, who is now in a serious relationship with Ines de Ramon, is 'relieved that this [divorce] is over.' Still, 'the lasting impact is something he's going to live with forever.'
A rep for Pitt did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.

Celebrity make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury's favourite ring was gifted by a supermodel
What are the three essential items in your wardrobe? I'm going to cheat and say four – belts, bags, shoes and jewels. It's all about the accessories for a fabulous outfit, darling. What's one beauty product you can't live without? My 'Magic Cream', created to revive the skin of supermodels backstage at fashion shows. Now, one pot is sold every minute worldwide. It's adored by Kylie Minogue and Sienna Miller; George Clooney wears it every day! Any go-to jewellery? I never leave the house without my vintage necklaces, bracelets and rings, including the most beautiful antique gold and amethyst ring that Kate Moss gave me. Can you remember a favourite outfit you wore as a child? I've always loved dressing up – I was stealing my mother's clothes from age 10. I remember styling a 1950s circle dress with a sequin bustier top and white gloves, trying to channel Marilyn Monroe. What was your first fashion moment? I remember going to a shop called The End in Ibiza, where I grew up, and buying a military-style Jean Paul Gaultier jacket. I was about 14. I adored that jacket. And your worst fashion mistake? I don't believe in them. We should embrace the past and think positively about the future. What's on your wish list? A fabulous long leather Chloé coat with shearling trim. Is there a current trend you like? I love the dreamy '70s Chloé-girl look. What do you wear to bed? A Carine Gilson silk nightgown. What shoes do you wear most often? High heels by Gianvito Rossi, Prada and Aquazzura. Who's your favourite fashion icon? My dear friend Kate Moss. She's also my beauty muse. I created some iconic looks for her in the '90s – we would mix multiple lipsticks and concealers to get that perfect nude lipstick. What do you wear on a typical working day? There is no typical day. I could be in Stella McCartney tailoring for a board meeting or a fabulous vintage Dior gown for a campaign shoot.

Orlando Bloom reportedly ‘unapologetically' flirting with women months before Katy Perry split
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom secretly parted ways earlier this year — and reports reveal that Bloom was acting very single in Miami just months ago. A source tells Page Six the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was in Miami, Florida, flirting with women on a recent trip. 'Orlando was definitely with girls in Miami,' says a source. 'He's been not subtly out and about,' according to our source, who called Bloom's flirting 'unapologetic.' And another source tells the outlet that the couple had parted ways long before that. The star was in Miami on April 9 to celebrate the launch of a new MSC cruise ship. We hear he was also there during the Miami Grand Prix, which ran May 2 to May 4, along with celebs like Timothée Chalamet and Tom Brady. Reps for Bloom and Perry issued the following statement to Page Six, confirming 'that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.' On June 10, Page Six exclusively reported that the couple's relationship was done. 'It's over,' a source told Page Six. 'They are waiting 'til her tour is over before they split.' Perry is on her Lifetimes tour that began on April 23 and runs through December 7. But on June 24, TMZ reported that Bloom was heading to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's Italian wedding as a single man. The actor and the Firework singer first met in 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party. They got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019, and welcomed daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020. Sources previously told People that stress over the poor reception for Perry's new album, 143, had caused 'tension' in the relationship. 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' a source told the outlet. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' On Wednesday, Bloom took to Instagram Stories to repost a carousel of quotes from Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung. 'Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate that seem important to oneself,' one quote read, which was originally shared via the Instagram account @SAPIENKIND. Another cryptic quote said, 'Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.' The pair previously split for a year in 2017. Page Six reported that at Bezos' wedding, single Bloom was having a great time. 'He was partying hard,' said a source, jokingly adding, 'and sweaty.'
