Pakistan claims Afghan spectators verbally abused its players in New Zealand
"During the match today, foreign spectators hurled inappropriate remarks at (Pakistan) cricketers present on the field,' the PCB said in a statement after the 43-run loss to New Zealand at Mount Maunganui.
Khushdil Shah stepped in when anti-Pakistan slogans emerged from the stands, the PCB said.
"Afghan spectators escalated the situation by using further inappropriate language in Pashto,' the PCB said.
Stadium officials intervened and ejected the "two disruptive spectators," the governing board added.
New Zealand swept the three-match series 3-0. The tourists lost the five-match T20 series 4-1.
Opening batter Imam-ul-Haq was retired hurt after sustaining mild facial injury, caused by an accidental throw from a New Zealand fielder in the third over of Pakistan's run-chase.
Imam underwent a CT scan Tauranga Hospital and it "reported as normal.' He was diagnosed with a mild concussion, the PCB said. He was declared fit to fly back home with the team.

Kate presents Wimbledon winner's trophy to Swiatek, consoling words to Anisimova
Kate, the Princess of Wales, handed out the trophy to Iga Swiatek and some consoling words to Amanda Anisimova after the women's Wimbledon final on Saturday. Swiatek beat Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 for her first Wimbledon title. Kate, the wife of Prince William, is the patron of the All England Club and has regularly attended the men's and women's finals. However, she did not attend last year's women's final while she was recovering from cancer. On Saturday, she was greeted by a standing ovation from the Centre Court crowd as she entered the Royal Box just before the final between the eighth-seeded Swiatek and No. 13 Anisimova started. After the match, she took part in the trophy presentation on court, first handing the runner-up trophy to Anisimova and then the Venus Rosewater Dish to Swiatek. Amanda Anisimova receives her runners-up trophy from Kate. AP She also offered up some words of encouragement to Anisimova, who was in tears after the one-sided defeat. "I wasn't sure if she was going to come out today, if she was going to be there,' Anisimova said. "So it was just really nice to see her. She definitely had a few things to say that were making me emotional again. But yeah, she was really kind. She told me to keep my head high.' After leaving the court following the ceremony, the princess and Swiatek had a conversation in a room inside the tournament's main stadium before the Polish player walked out onto a balcony to show the trophy to the crowd waiting outside. "I don't remember (what she said) really, because I was too overwhelmed,' Swiatek said about that private conversation. "I didn't want to do any faux pas. I wanted to behave well.' Last year, Kate did hand the trophy to Carlos Alcaraz after his victory over Novak Djokovic in the men's final, when she made only her second public appearance since announcing she was diagnosed with cancer. She has been gradually returning to public duties since since announcing last fall that she had completed chemotherapy, and took part in welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron during his state visit to Britain this week. Josh Mojica seeks leniency from LTO over viral EDSA selfie driving incident
Josh Mojica, the driver who went viral for posting a selfie video while driving a sports car along EDSA, has appealed to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) for a lighter penalty. Accompanied by his legal counsel, Atty. Jose Marie Fabella, Mojica appeared before the LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division (LTO-IID) on Thursday, July 10. 'He's a first-time offender and had no intention to endanger the public,' Fabella told reporters. 'We accept any penalty under the law, but we're appealing that it not be made harsher.' LTO-IID chief Renante Militante clarified that the 90-day suspension of Mojica's driver's license is not yet a penalty but a preventive measure pending investigation. 'Hindi po 'yan penalty… pending the result of the investigation, sinususpend po muna natin ang lisensya,' Militante explained. 'Kung may naka-alarm at maulit pa, baka mas grabe ang parusa.' Militante added that the sports car involved is now under alarm status, meaning it cannot be used by Mojica or anyone else until the investigation concludes. Mojica is being charged with reckless driving, violation of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act, and being an improper person to operate a motor vehicle. Militante confirmed that Mojica admitted to all charges during the hearing and has since surrendered his license. Mojica also told ABS-CBN News that the car had only been with him for five days when he filmed and posted the video.
