ESPN's fantasy staff compiled their top sleepers, busts and breakout players, including Marvin Harrison Jr.
As we approach the end of the summer, fantasy owners will be putting together their wish lists for fantasy drafts. They seek to land reliable production from players and hope to find value additions and avoid fantasy busts.
ESPN's fantasy staff put together a list, giving their potential sleepers, busts and breakout players.
Arizona Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was included as a breakout player.
Fantasy breakout player: Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
From Stephania Bell:
Many expected Harrison to emerge on the pro scene with a bang, but his underwhelming rookie season landed more like a thud. After scoring four touchdowns in his first four games, Harrison scored only four more the rest of the season, and his catch percentage (53.4%) was lowest among all rookie wide receivers. But his talent and pedigree are unchanged and lessons learned from Year 1 could go a long way toward making 2025 his breakout season. Plus, outside of Trey McBride, he faces little competition for targets.
There has been a buzz all offseason about Harrison breaking out this coming season. His rookie season wasn't bad, but it certainly didn't meet lofty expectations.
Harrison is noticeably bigger physically. He enters his second NFL season. He will have a lot of targets.
He is a logical choice as a breakout player.

Former Georgia star RB James Cook named in the NFL top 100

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook has been named as a top 100 player in the NFL. Cook finished the 2024 season with 1,009 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. He was also a receiving threat and finished the year with 32 receptions, which was third on the team. Cook has been steadily improving since he was selected in the 2022 NFL draft and he has proven he can take on a huge workload for a Super Bowl contender like the Bills. "He might not look as fast as he is moving but he is moving extremely fast," Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins. Cook's 4.4 speed was on display throughout the year. He had four games with a rush for over 40 yards. The young Georgia Bulldogs product is poised for a fantastic NFL career and could easily climb higher in future rankings with another great season. Cook is the bell cow and reliable target for quarterback Josh Allen. Cook is the Bills' No. 1 option in their running game and showcased the ability to generate separation and create explosive plays for the Bills dynamic offense. Cook really showed his value for Buffalo in the postseason. He posted over 300 total yards and three touchdowns as he helped the Bills advance to the AFC championship game. Cook's NFL peers voted him as the No. 89 player on the NFL 100 list. He joins Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey as the two Bulldogs to make the top 100 so far.

Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will host the 2028 Final Four

Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will host the 2028 Final Four. A decade ago, it would have been inconceivable. A decade ago, the NFL shut down Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's fantasy football convention in Las Vegas, even though the convention was being held at a property that had no gambling on it. A decade ago, sports betting was legal in gambling but nowhere else. And while the proliferation and normalization of gambling throughout the country since 2018 has stripped Las Vegas of that which made it unique, it has opened new doors for Sin City. An NFL team resides there. A Super Bowl has happened there. An NHL team plays there. An MLB team is coming. (I think.) And now the Final Four will happen there. Via Mick Akers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority voted on Monday to devote $26 million to the planning and execution of the event. LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill believes the economic impact will outweigh the expenses by $250 million or more. 'When that event takes place in Las Vegas, everybody knows it,' Hill told Akers. 'They telecast the skyline of our city over and over again and they talk about being here.' With most of the country now able to carry a casino around in their pockets, it's more important than ever to have more of what happens in Vegas happen in Vegas.
