There are hundreds of mattresses on sale this week — these are the 7 deals actually worth shopping, from $149

Tom's Guide10-07-2025
Prime Day landing so soon after the 4th of July sales means we've been drowning in mattress sales for weeks. If you're trying to buy a new bed but are fatigued by the sheer mass of sales coming at you on a daily basis, I can help. I track sleep deals month in, month out, and in my opinion there are really only 7 worth browsing right now – and I've rounded them up right here.
One of these standout 'better-than-Black Friday' bargains is the Siena Memory Foam Mattress, one of the top recommended options in our best mattress of 2025 guide. Today a queen Siena is down to $278 (was $359) at Amazon – that's the cheapest price I've seen it go for. The Siena is an excellent option for guest rooms and dorm beds, with a twin priced $149 (was $199) thanks to 25% off.
Here are the six other great mattress sales I recommend this week...
1. Siena Memory Foam Mattress: twin was $199 now $149 at AmazonSiena usually holds a regular 605 off sale that freezes a queen Memory Foam at $359, but there's an even cheaper deal on this budget all-foam bed over at Amazon. The retail giant's deal takes queen to $278 (and comes with a 180-night trial, 10-year warranty and free shipping), which is much cheaper than Black Friday's $340 queen deal. We named the Siena as the best cheap mattress as our testers for the Siena Memory Foam Mattress review were blown away by the support and value of money the bed provides.
2. Saatva Classic Mattress: twin was $1,399 now $999 at SaatvaWe think the Saatva Classic is the best hybrid mattress you can buy for a multitude of reasons, from its customizable comfort (it comes in three feels) to its high-quality materials. It's one of the comfiest luxury beds on the market and achieved a full 5/5 score in our Saatva Classic mattress review during a recent retesting. The great news is it's now $400 off all sizes when you use our link above. A queen is now $1,699 (was $2,099), and you'll also get a lifetime warranty, a year-long sleep trial, and free mattress installation and old bed removal.
3. Siena 8' Essential Mattress: twin was $149 now $119 at AmazonWhile the Siena Memory Foam Mattress is our top deal, the Siena Essential shouldn't be overlooked either. The brand's cheapest (and thinnest) offering is perfect for guest rooms as a queen is only $179 (was $279) at Amazon (Siena is still selling a queen for $279) and you'll still get Siena's 180 night sleep trial and a 10-year warranty, too.
4. Allswell Organic 12" Mattress: twin was $577 now $298 at AllswellThe best organic mattresses do not come cheap, so the Allswell Organic is a remarkable find even when it's not on sale. While we have yet to test this budget buy, we've looked at the GOTS Certified design and we are impressed. And at just $558 for a queen, it's a steal.
5. Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid Mattress: twin was $932 now $652.40 at Brooklyn BeddingAs we say in our Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid mattress review this newcomer provided effective specialist cooling with a luxury feel, all while supporting combi sleepers, making it a top rated option in our best cooling mattress guide. Brooklyn Bedding is offering 30% with code FLASH30, a discount they only ever roll out for big sales events and federal holidays, reducing a queen to $932.40 (was $1,332). You'll also get a 120-night sleep trial, and a lifetime warranty, and free shipping.
6. Helix Midnight Luxe Mattress: twin was $1,436 now $1,048 at Helix with code TOM27The Helix Midnight Luxe is our No 1 pick in our guide to the best mattress for side sleepers, and you can now get a 27% off deal with our exclusive discount code TOMS27, taking a queen Helix Midnight Luxe from $2,398.66 to $1,751.03. This is a great exclusive deal that will save you more than the current non-exclusive 25% sale and the regular 20% sale. A 100-night sleep trial and lifetime limited warranty is also included.
7. Leesa Studio Mattress: twin was $549 now $384 at LeesaLeesa's more affordable bed, the Studio, just got cheaper thanks to a 30% discount that overtakes the brand's standard 20%-25% sales. This takes a queen to $559 (down from $77), which is just outside cheap mattress territory. We tried the budget-friendly mattress in our Leesa Studio mattress hand-on review, and found the mattress to deliver the same soothing relief you'd find in more expensive, luxury mattresses. Plus, you'll get a 100 nights to try it for yourself.
While a lot of people think that bargain-hunting for mattresses should only be limited to the big five sales — Presidents' Day sales in February, Memorial Day sales in May, Labor Day in September, and Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in November and December — which all occur outside of summertime, great discounts can be found throughout the summer months.
The 4th of July mattress sales are still ongoing (an we predict they will carry on until Mid-July) while Amazon Prime Day in July will surely bring us some great deals on bargain beds and brand-name mattresses alike. Also, the early Labor Day mattress sales usually start around August, with some brands offering the same Labor Day discount in August and September.
In short, the best time to buy a mattress depends on how strategic you are when summer shopping.
Brands such as Saatva, Helix, and Brooklyn Bedding tend to offer discounts that are actually better than their run-of-the-mill sales. You'll know when you're looking at the better Saatva mattress sales when you see a $400 off discount (this deal is better for the cheaper Saatva models) or a 15% off sale (better if you want to buy a more expensive Saatva mattress).
Meanwhile, Helix mattress sales can offer some great savings, while Brooklyn Bedding bring out their 30% off sales during big sales events. Amazon can also surprise with generous flash deals on some of the top-selling Amazon mattresses (which include big brands such as Nectar and DreamCloud).

The handy CUKTECH 15 Ultra Power Bank is at a record-low price!

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority Do you keep running out of battery? I've been searching for a battery pack that's both easy to carry and powerful, and so far, the CUKTECH 15 Ultra Power Bank offers the perfect balance for my needs. It's at a record-low price, too, and you can take it home for $71.99. That's much more enticing than paying the full $109.99 retail price! Buy the CUKTECH 15 Ultra Power Bank for just $71.99 ($38 off) This offer is available from Amazon, and it comes in two stages. First, there's an automatic 'limited time deal' that brings the price down to $79.99. Then, you can press the Redeem button right below the price to get an extra 10% coupon applied. The CUKTECH 15 Ultra is a really nice battery pack if you value both portability and power. At 5.98 x 2.25 x 1.75 inches, it's smaller than similar competitors, and it weighs 1.3 pounds. This means it can easily fit in most purses and backpacks. I have even carried it in my pants pocket! It has a 20,000mAh battery capacity, which is good enough to charge a smartphone about 3-4 times, depending on your battery size and other factors. For the size, it's a really nice amount of juice. Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority The main highlight of the CUKTECH 15 Ultra Power Bank is how fast it is. It can output as much as 165W. It has two USB-C ports and a USB-A connection. The fastest USB-C port can reach 140W, while the second is limited to 65W. Arguably, though, even the slower port is pretty fast. The USB-A connection can output 18W, which is slower, but more than enough for accessories or slow charging a smartphone. This one has become my go-to power bank, so I am sure many of you will love it. If you're interested, act quickly, as this is an all-time low price, and those don't tend to last long. Extra deal: The Anker Laptop Power Bank is $40.50 off Another popular battery pack at a similar price level is the Anker Laptop Power Bank. It's going for $94.49, which is a nice discount on its $134.99 full retail price. This one is not exactly better in every way, but it has some nice touches many of you will appreciate. It also comes from a more recognized brand, which we know many of you will prefer. The Anker Laptop Power Bank gets a larger 25,000mAh battery, so you're getting an extra 5,000mAh with this one. It also has a max output of 165W. All three USB-C ports can output as much as 100W, so there's no need to pick and choose specific ports here. The single USB-A connection can push out 33W, so that one is also faster than the one on the CUKTECH battery. Dave Carr The other main difference in ports is that Anker has built two of the USB-C connections in. Only one is a standard USB-C port; the other two are integrated cables. One of them is retractable, and the other doubles as a loop, adding a bit of functionality to its ports. This is nice if you prefer not having to worry about carrying cables all the time. I worry about built-in cables, as they are essentially non-replaceable. This means that, if damaged, that port is pretty much done for. I would honestly be worried about damaging these all the time. Anker mentions these are rated for 20,000 bends, though. Also, our co-worker Dave Carr mentions the whole unit feels pretty sturdy. Additionally, it comes with an 18-month warranty.

Cramer's week ahead: Fed meeting, nonfarm payrolls, Big Tech earnings

Next week could be a game changer for Wall Street, CNBC's Jim Cramer said. He told investors to pay attention to a slew of market-moving events, including the Federal Reserve's meeting, the latest nonfarm payroll report and earnings tech titans Apple, Amazon, Meta and Microsoft. "Next week, no hyperbole, is pivotal. It's significant. I'm willing to make it a free-fire zone of superlatives," he said. "In short, next week determines the market's direction for the duration. Or at least the rest of the summer." On Monday, Cramer said he'll be paying attention to earnings from Celestica and Whirlpool. Cramer said electronics manufacturer Celestica will give insight into how a number of tech companies are doing. President Donald Trump's tariffs might bode well for home appliance maker Whirlpool, which does substantial manufacturing in the U.S., he continued. Tuesday brings reports from UnitedHealth, Boeing, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks and Visa. Cramer suggested UnitedHealth's cooperation with the government in a probe into its Medicare billing practices is a positive, even though the insurer remains "an un-investible story." Cramer said he hopes Boeing will detail its dealings with the government, and he predicted the stock will head higher. To Cramer, Procter & Gamble's business is "a question of raw costs and tariffs versus marketing muscle," but added that he thinks the dollar's weakness abroad is a tailwind for the company. Starbucks will likely reveal plans for its business in China, Cramer said, adding that he thinks the coffee chain will also report improved throughput. According to Cramer, Visa's quarter is usually met with selling because its financials are hard to understand. He said he would be a buyer on the dip. The Federal Reserve will meet on Wednesday, and Cramer said he thinks Fed Chair Jerome Powell will express the need for caution with respect to tariff-driven inflation. It's also likely Powell will say he intends to stay in his role until the end of his term next spring, Cramer added. Wednesday also brings earnings from Microsoft and Meta, and Cramer said their stock moves indicate better-than-expected results. Cramer recommended waiting to hear from Microsoft management before making a move on the stock. He said he thinks Meta will report success in advertising, specifically from social media platform Instagram. He also wondered if the company would start charging for messaging program WhatsApp, saying the new revenue stream could be a windfall. Big Tech earnings continue on Thursday, with Apple and Amazon set to report, and Cramer noted both companies stocks have been climbing steadily. While he said he still believes investors should own, not trade, Apple, he's expecting an "unexciting quarter" and a slowdown in growth from its services revenue stream. Cramer said he expects a solid quarter from Amazon, saying he thinks its business segments are performing well, namely its online retail, advertising and web services. Friday, the Labor Department will release the nonfarm payroll report, which measures employment. Cramer said it would be ideal to see continued growth in hiring and stables wages. President Donald Trump can't "hector" Powell to cut rates if wages are higher, he continued. Oil giants Chevron and Exxon Mobil will report Friday, and Cramer said he is unsure about what the latter will say. But he said he expects Chevron to raise its outlook, noting the company just completed its acquisition of Hess after winning a legal battle with Exxon over disputed oil assets. These Stylish Bluetooth Headphones With Unbelievable Battery Life Are Cheaper Than Ever

Discount available: Marshall's Major V headphones are worth it even at full price but right now they're down to $100 -- or around 38% off -- on Amazon, their all-time lowest price on the site. This covers the black, brown and cream colored versions, but not the midnight blue version for whatever reason. I might not be a true battle-tested headphone expert like CNET's David Carnoy but I still love headphones and I'm confident in what I like about them. My most recent pickup, the Marshall Major V on-ear Bluetooth headphones, quickly became a pair that I adore. What is Marshall? Marshall is a British audio hardware company that got its start in the early '60s and became renowned for producing amps and speakers for live music performances. More recently, it's made a mark in consumer audio, producing home speakers with a distinctly rock 'n' roll aesthetic -- think rough-patterned black leather materials, gold trim and prominent physical buttons. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. The brand also has brought its signature sound and style to headphones. Recently, I picked up the Major V, Marshall's latest iteration of its on-ear Bluetooth model (that's V as in 5), and I could hardly love them more. Marshall boasts that these headphones can last up to 100 hours on one charge, an almost ludicrous number that has largely held up as I've used them. The audio quality, while not a patch on the heavier hitters in the Bluetooth market, is excellent for its price, with strong bass and clean high notes. Vocals can sometimes come off a little shabby at first blush, but I find you get used to it real quick. The connectivity performance has also really impressed me. For such a cheap pair of headphones, the Major V easily maintain connections to at least two devices at a time and can switch between them almost seamlessly. That's not something I've found to be the case for a lot of the affordable Bluetooth headphones I've tried in the past. It's a strong contender overall in the budget Bluetooth headphones space. Why does this deal matter? I was able to scoop up the Marshall Major V for $100, the lowest their price has gone since they debuted last year. For that price, it's basically a steal. For the amount of blissful use I've gotten out of them so far -- listening to music, watching movies or getting through my audiobooks -- it's been more than worth the price of admission. They usually retail for about $160, making their current price a 38% discount.
