Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth)
Dean Huijsen has turned the heads of recruiters across Europe after an impressive debut season at Bournemouth. The teenager arrived from Juventus last summer and his displays have left some scratching their heads as to why he was allowed to leave Turin.
Huijsen has been a big part of Bournemouth's challenge for Europe, forming an excellent understanding with Ilya Zabarnyi. His performances earned the 20-year-old a first senior appearance for Spain in March and Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle are all understood to have approached the player's camp.
He ranks in the top five percent of centre-backs in the Premier League this season for interceptions, clearances and key passes per game, combining intelligent positioning with elegance in possession. A release clause of £50m is almost certain to be triggered this summer.

Matheus Cunha (Wolves)
Matheus Cunha turned down interest from rival clubs to recommit his future to Wolves' survival fight in January. The shining light of an otherwise challenging campaign, Cunha has scored 14 goals and created four more in the Premier League this season. After refusing to jump ship mid-season, a move now appears likely. Last month, Cunha said he wants to take the 'next step' in his career.
'Now we're close to achieving our goal [of staying up]…I've made it clear that I need to take the next step. I want to fight for titles, for big things. I have potential,' he said.
'I had a lot of (January) offers but I wouldn't feel well if I had done it [moved mid-season]. Some things you can't control but I couldn't leave the club in the middle of the season, in a difficult situation, in the relegation zone.'

Cunha signed a new deal with Wolves in February, though with the inclusion of a £62.5m release clause.
Liam Delap (Ipswich Town)
Another standout in a struggling side, Liam Delap's first full season in the Premier League has been one to remember. After several loan spells in the Football League, Ipswich spent £20m to sign Delap from Manchester City last summer.
The 22-year-old has done his utmost to keep The Tractor Boys in the division, scoring 12 league goals. His powerful ball-carrying and goals have caught the eye, with some of the league's biggest sides taking interest.
Ipswich are all but relegated with a 14-point gap to 17th place. Should Kieran McKenna's side go down, Delap will be available for just £30m. On the evidence of his performances this season and clear potential, that could be a bargain.

Mohammed Kudus (West Ham)
Mohammed Kudus chose West Ham over Brighton in 2023 after the former agreed to insert a release clause in his contract. The Ghana international arrived from Ajax in a £38m deal and scored 14 times during an impressive debut campaign.
Kudus has struggled to replicate those performances this time around, as West Ham have floundered as a collective. Despite that, interest in his services remains high.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle and Chelsea have checked in on the 24-year-old, who ranks second in the Premier League for successful take-ons this season. Saudi Pro League sides, however, may be the likeliest suitors to trigger his £85m release clause.

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)
Eberechi Eze is reportedly available for £60m this summer due to a release clause in his Crystal Palace contract.
Palace have fended off interest in Eze in each of the last two summers but could be powerless to prevent his exit this time around. The England international will turn 27 in the summer and may feel now is the right time to move on in search of silverware.
He's returned a career-high of eight assists in the Premier League this season and has recorded 11+ goal involvements in each of the last three seasons.
Spurs are admirers, while Manchester City have previously expressed interest. The latter will lose Kevin De Bruyne in the summer and could also require homegrown additions. there is uncertainty at the Etihad over Jack Grealish, John Stones, James McAtee and Kyle Walker.

Colorado Rapids' Chidozie Awaziem returns to Nantes
FC Nantes have signed Nigerian international centre-back Chidozie Awaziem (28) from Colorado Rapids, both clubs have announced. Awaziem is back at La Beaujoire after already spending the 2017-2018 season on loan from FC Porto with Les Canaris. Awaziem has now joined Nantes on a permanent basis, putting pen to paper over a three-year deal. Nantes were in the market for a centre-back after parting ways with Jean-Charles Castelletto and Nicolas Pallois. Awaziem will wear the No. 6 jersey with Nantes. Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, with the Gunners set to land one of Europe's most coveted forwards. Gyokeres has exploded in output since joining Sporting, where he has netted 97 goals in 102 games over the last two seasons. His prolific form has been a far cry from his time at Brighton, where the Swedish striker failed to make a Premier League appearance. After maturing during spells in the Football League and Portugal, he's set to return to England with a point to prove. He's not the first big name to have done so. Players who returned to the Premier League with a point to prove Kevin De Bruyne Kevin De Bruyne departed the Premier League this summer, recognised as one of the league's all-time greats. But the Belgian's time in England had a rocky start. After joining Chelsea as a teenager, De Bruyne struggled to get a look in. He made just three league starts for Chelsea before being sold to Vfl Wolfsburg for £18m in 2014. 18 months later and established as one of the Bundesliga's best, Manchester City spent £55m to sign De Bruyne in a club-record deal. The gamble paid dividends, as De Bruyne starred during their most successful era. He won six league titles, the Champions League, five League Cups and two FA Cups, alongside twice being named PFA Player of the Year. De Bruyne holds the joint-record for the most assists in a Premier League season (20), and sits second for all-time goals created in the division. Point proven. Paul Pogba Paul Pogba chose to leave Manchester United in 2012 after becoming frustrated by his lack of opportunity at Old Trafford. The Frenchman joined Juventus on a free transfer and soon cemented a reputation as one of Europe's most promising talents. Four consecutive Serie A titles followed, with Pogba earning the 2013 Golden Boy award. Manchester United decided to correct their error in 2016, breaking the world transfer record to sign Pogba for £89m. Mohamed Salah Another error that Chelsea have cursed. Mohamed Salah's time in West London yielded just two goals and 13 league appearances, as competition from Eden Hazard and Willian limited his involvement. Salah signed for Roma after a successful loan with the club and scored 19 goals during the 2016/17 season. Suitably impressed, Liverpool spent £36.5m to sign the Egyptian international. Doubts over his ability to succeed in England were removed instantly, as Salah scored 44 goals during his debut season – setting a then-Premier League record – to win the PFA Player of the Year award. The goals have hardly stopped since. Salah has won a joint-record four Golden Boots and is now the highest-scoring overseas player in Premier League history. His impact has led Liverpool through a memorable period that has included two league titles and the Champions League among his honours. Romelu Lukaku When Romelu Lukaku left the Premier League for Inter Milan, he did so with 113 goals scored in England's top flight. Not much to prove, you might think, but his return to Chelsea was certainly filled with personal motivation. Lukaku had failed to break in at Chelsea as a teenager, restricted to just 15 goalless appearances before finding his feet elsewhere. He returned to Stamford Bridge in a £98.5m deal, having scored 64 times over two seasons at Inter Milan and appeared the ideal fit to spearhead Thomas Tuchel's Champions League winners. However, a disappointing season saw Lukaku muster just eight league goals and alienate himself with the club's fans. A controversial interview in which he criticised Tuchel's tactics and yearned for a return to Inter Milan was not well received. At the end of the season, he rejoined Inter on a season-long loan deal. Mikel Merino It's easy to forget that Mikel Merino has previous Premier League experience before joining Arsenal. The Spaniard spent the 2017/18 season with Newcastle United but returned to Spain after just 12 months on Tyneside. At Real Sociedad, he developed into one of Spain's most consistent performers, earning inclusion in the La Liga Team of the Season in 2022/23. After helping Spain to success at Euro 2024, including a vital quarter-final winner against Germany, he joined Arsenal in a £32m deal.
