
Biker dies after horror crash with car near Loch Awe
A biker has tragically died at the scene of a horror crash over the weekend.
The smash took place at around 10.30am on Sunday, July 13 on the A85 near Loch Awe., and involved a black Skoda Octavia and a grey Aprilia Tuono motorcycle.
Emergency services raced to the scene but sadly the motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man, was pronounced dead.
The road was closed to allow cops to carry out a full collision probe and re-opened at around 9.05pm on Sunday.
Sergeant Patrick McWilliams from Police Scotland said: 'Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.
'Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash, and we would urge anyone who saw what happened to come forward."

He added: 'We're also keen to speak to anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the crash and may have dash-cam footage, as it could assist our investigation.'
