Despite initial reports suggesting there were no serious injuries, an update on July 9 from the police confirmed that two teenagers had sustained serious injuries. They were initially taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, the hospital in Bangor, but one was later transferred to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, which houses a major trauma unit. "Shortly before 1pm police were notified of a collision involving a tractor on the A5025 at Llanfaethlu with two males onboard. Officers attended the scene along with the Welsh Ambulance Service," reports North Wales Live. Article continues below "Both males were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, however, the passenger was later transferred to hospital in Stoke due to his injuries." Yesterday, the police statement read: "The A5025 is closed the Valley side of Llanfaethlu due to a road traffic collision. It is likely to be closed for sometime for vehicle recovery." Two sections of the M4 are currently experiencing delays due to a vehicle fire and a broken down vehicle. The incidents are causing long delays at the start of the rush hour traffic peak. The M4 westbound has long delays and two lanes closed between Junction 30 (Cardiff Gate) and Junction 32 (Coryton Interchange) due to a vehicle fire.
