Binder looks to rebound at Silverstone after French GP wipeout
Brad Binder had a disappointing end to his most recent MotoGP race on the Michelin Grand Prix of France 2025 in Le Mans.

According to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, Brad pulled away from the 13th position off the grid on race day, May 11.
'After the weather caused some uncertainty, they finally sped off the grid. Unfortunately, Brad crashed into turn 14 and then again shortly afterwards in turn one to end his day early,' they revealed.
Brad said that he did not have much to say about the race.
My race was a lot shorter than I would have liked. Very tricky to understand what tires we should have had at the beginning.
'We had wets, came in for slicks, and I thought things were going quite well, but into the last corner, there was a bit more water than I expected, and it just slipped away. I picked up, did my two long laps and was planning to come in, but it just washed in turn one. It was time to have been on the wets!' he stated.
Sometimes things do not work out.'
He apologised to his team because they deserved a good result after all their efforts lately, and that he would try again in Silverstone.
Brad is currently placed 14th in the World Championship standings and will compete again at the Tissot Grand Prix of the United Kingdom from May 23–25.

Ashleigh Irvine-Smith clinched the women's title in an exceptional course record of 02:14:42, shaving 20:28 off Debbie O'Leary's time of 02:35:10 from the inaugural event. 'There are three race distances on offer that cover all the bases, from the not so fit and just looking to have fun athletes to the more serious athletes.' The super sprint distance will kick things off. Here, youngsters, novices and the unfit compete over a 200m long swim, 10km cycle and 2km run. 'It's ideal if you are starting out in the sport of triathlon and perhaps just want to test your fitness gains,' said Gore. The sprint distance follows, with competitors taking on the challenge of swimming 750m, then cycling 20km and a 5km run inside the estate. The standard or Olympic distance, which includes a 1500m swim, 40km cycle and a 10km run, will complete the event. 'SEESA have been supporting this event for the past three years and their personal involvement in the event has ensured that entrants are treated like VIPs with no stone left unturned to ensure a memorable race day experience out in Benoni. Pogba signs for Monaco, hoping to revive career
Paul Pogba has signed a two-year deal with Ligue 1 side Monaco to return to football after a near two-year absence, the club announced on Saturday. The 2018 World Cup winner has made only 12 appearances across the last three seasons due to injuries, an 18-month doping ban and an extortion case in which he was the victim. Pogba failed a drugs test in August 2023 after a match for Juventus and has been free to return to football since March, although his contract at the Italian giants had been terminated last year. The midfielder will now play club football in Ligue 1 for the first time in his professional career. "I am determined to get back on the pitch, mentally ready, physically ready, it's just a matter of time," the 32-year-old told French television last weekend. Pogba played in the Le Havre youth team before signing for Manchester United in 2009. He made only a handful of first-team appearances for the three-time European champions before signing for Juventus in 2012. Pogba won four consecutive Serie A titles in Turin before rejoining United for a then-world record 105 million euros ($123 million). He moved back to Juventus three years ago but struggled with a series of injuries. In 2024, his brother Mathias was sentenced to three years in prison, with two years suspended, for his role in a plot to extort 13 million euros from Pogba in 2022. Pogba has scored 11 goals in 91 appearances for the France national team, playing a starring role and scoring in their World Cup final victory over Croatia seven years ago.
