GTA6 is now available... to pre-load to your console as fresh details 'leaked'

GTA 6's official release may be a year away but a new development has left fans "gearing up" for a "masterpiece"
Waiting for a new game to drop on PS5 or Xbox is always a tough one. You've seen the trailer, watched the teaser, and scoured the internet for whatever inside scoop you can find on what you might be dealing with on release day.
Rockstar Games announced last month that the release of Grand Theft Auto VI would be delayed until May 26, 2026. Gamers were up in arms over the announcement, with many impatient to discover GTA 6's new features.

A second teaser trailer for the game was also released, raising tensions even more, but now gamers will be chuffed to hear that, despite a postponement until next May, GTA 6 is now available.

That is, available to 'wish list' on both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
While fans were able to add GTA 6 to their PS5 wish list as early as May, the option was conspicuously absent from the Xbox Store. In welcome news for fans, the team at Rockstar Games has now seen to the issue.
Players can now express their interest in GTA 6 via wish list on the Xbox website and directly through the console.
Although not equivalent to being able to pre-order, wish listing represents an important step towards the much-anticipated release of GTA 6. The Store Page for GTA 6 boasts not only the game's intriguing trailers but also a range of screenshots for virtual voyeurs.
And the revelations just keep on coming as new details about the expected GTA 6 online mode have reportedly been "leaked" online, as spotted by X, formerly Twitter, user @GTAVI_Countdown, and reported by indy100.com.

Fravillys, a former Rockstar Mag chief editor who is believed to have previously dropped exclusive insight about the RAGE engine, has written a piece containing alleged information about the expected online mode in GTA 6.
"According to an inside source, the upcoming multiplayer game, codenamed 'GTA6MP', is currently at an advanced stage, much more so than it was during the original GTA Online, which was developed between 2008 and 2013," Fravillys wrote in a translated article.
"One of the most significant advances would be the ability to perform free-roam multiplayer activities with players from different sessions, without ever having to leave your own environment or experience loading times.

"The next version of GTA Online is said to be aiming for a seamless and immersive gaming experience, with the ambition of reaching up to 96 simultaneous players per session. However, according to my latest information, this figure is currently limited to 64 players."
None of this has been confirmed by Rockstar. Elsewhere, there has been reaction aplenty to the Xbox Wish list development.

One X user wrote: "Already wish listed. I'm not sure I can do the late night like I used to but I'm sure to try for this game!!"
Another enthused: "Now we can experience this masterpiece in the greatest console ever!" A third joked: "My work wondering why I'm suddenly sick on may M6, 2026".

Others were concerned about the game's release date. One commented: "I expect one more delay, watch it push into summer '26" and a second agreed: "We all know it's going to get pushed back again though".
A third questioned: "Should we trust this ETA?" while a fourth pointed out: "I am honestly surprised they didn't push it to June 6th. GTA 6 on 6, 6, 2026, would have been good marketing."
The game's narrative is believed to around two principal characters, Jason and Lucia and set in various locations including Vice City itself, along with Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and Ambrosia.

Rod Stewart branded ‘grotesque' amid support for Reform UK

'We're fed up with the Tories. We've got to give Farage a chance. He's coming across well. Nigel? What options have we got? 'Starmer's all about getting us out of Brexit and I don't know how he's going to do that. Still, the country will survive. It could be worse. We could be in the Gaza Strip.' The Simpsons fans devastated over Marge's death

The finale sparked outrage with some fans of the long running show revealing Marge's death ruined their day. Fans of The Simpsons say they have been traumatised by Marge Simpson's death scene in an episode of the hit show, exclaiming, "Oh my God, they killed Marge". The season 36 finale sparked outrage with some fans of the long running show revealing Marge's death completely ruined their day. ‌ The episode showed the matriarch being outlived by Homer and Bart and Lisa mourning her passing. ‌ Reactions included: 'OMG THEY KILLED MARGE it's a sad day for us Simpsons lovers', and 'They done killed off Marge?? This world so unhinged'. In season 36 finale Estranger Things, the show flashes forward 35 years into the future to reveal that the Simpsons' matriarch died before her husband Homer. The episode also deals with Lisa and Bart's feelings around the loss, while showing Marge looking down on them from heaven. In the episode written by Tim Long and directed by Matthew Nastuk, Bart and Lisa are seen drifting apart as they stop watching 'Itchy & Scratchy' together. They agree to maintain their relationship, but drift apart after Marge dies. Years later, Lisa is commissioner of the NBA and Bart is running an unlicensed retirement home where Homer lives. Bart and Lisa are still estranged when she comes home to make a speech at Springfield Elementary — but after she discovers a video Marge made urging them to look after each other, they reestablish their bond. Marge, meanwhile, is watching this happen from heaven — while carrying on an affair with Ringo Starr. ‌ While many have pointed out the death happens in the future, and so not in the current Simpsons timeline, the impact was felt by fans on X (formerly Twitter). 'You just ruined my day' one poster said, before adding: 'I guess I'll only watch the first 35 Seasons so Marge Simpson can live forever." ‌ One fan questioned: 'Why couldn't it be Patty or Selma?', while another compared it to another animated comedy. 'Taking a page out of Family Guy where they killed Brian' the user wrote. Despite the death of Marge, producers have reassured fans of the show that she will be around for a long time to come. Executive producer Matt Selman said: 'Obviously since the The Simpsons' future episodes are all speculative fantasies, they're all different every time. Marge will probably never be dead ever again. The only place Marge is dead is in one future episode that aired six weeks ago.' ‌ The animated sitcom created by Matt Groening first aired as a short on the Tracy Ullman Show in 1987 before being developed into a half-hour series of episodes two years later. In all there have been 790 episodes of the show which satirises American family values.

Review: Meet the game controller with a focus on floral patterns and funky lights

Review: Meet the game controller with a focus on floral patterns and funky lights GameSir have released perhaps their boldest creationr to date - the T7 Pro Floral Wired Controller T7 Pro Floral Wired Controller We live in a world where tech doesn't just have to be brilliant, it also needs to look good. Game controllers are just one of the things that need to look good as well as do the job for the gamer. GameSir is a specialist in controllers for PC, Android, Xbox and Switch devices and has released a wide array of products in this marketplace. Its latest is the T7 Pro Floral Wired Controller for the Xbox which has a very obvious standout pattern that makes it really eye-catching. I'll be honest on two fronts, flowery games controllers and a wired device would not normally be my go-to choice, but there is a lot to like here. Let's look at the visuals first, the design is funky and coats the front with a subtle light blue, turquoise design that actually really does look very smart. The semi-transparent casing of the controller looks superb with the RGB lighting included providing a stunning effect. In short, it looks absolutely brilliant, it's a crafted piece of kit that is designed to impress. GameSir know what it is doing with these controllers too and this is packed with the best tech you need for a solid gaming experience. With Hall Effect Trigger systems giving the smoothest of experiences, gameplay is highly responsive and rewarding. Vibration comes from rumble motors in the grips and triggers. The Nexus app is the place to go for customising buttons and changing the responsiveness. It adds to the mix and gives control for gamers to enjoy the controller to suit their needs. As I say, I'm not a fan of wired controllers, mainly because I'm used to wireless devices these days, but after a while I didn't mind. It's a really good responsive experience. I like the GameSir range and have had a good experience with its controllers, and the fact that this also looks so sharp is a bonus. The GameSir T7 Pro Floral Wired Controller for Xbox is available for £49.99 via the GameSir website. What users say Jennifer Young: "The GameSir T7 Pro Floral takes the original and adds 2 back buttons and some 2-step trigger stops, and on the whole, it does feel a lot better quality build than the T7. The Floral design gave me the impression it would be a little flimsier, but it's a sturdy piece of kit." Scott Webster: "The most obvious update here is aesthetic: a floral-patterned matte shell paired with a semi-transparent finish and dynamic RGB lighting. It's the kind of controller that looks just as at home in a curated setup as it does in the heat of battle. But underneath that glow is a full-featured wired controller built for responsive, accurate play." Alternatives Article continues below Razer Wolverine V2 Power A Wired controller
