Machine Gun Kelly speaks out on Megan Fox relationship after baby's birth
Megan Fox's ex Machine Gun Kelly has broken his silence on his relationship status after their daughter's arrival. The famous duo have been on and off for a few years but they called it quits for good last year.
However, the actress was still pregnant at the time and has since given birth to their daughter Saga Blade. The musician has been co-parenting their baby after they split over Thanksgiving.
But he has now spoken out about their relationship and where he and Megan stand with each other. Machine Gun Kelly, 35, appeared on Friday's Today Show where he spoke positively about his ex.
He said: "Megan is a great mom." He added: "She's killing it. I'm so excited." He then went on to talk about the sentimental meaning behind their daughter's name.
MGK said that Saga's name represents him and 39 year old Megan's experience of having a baby together. He discussed how the two of them went through a pregnancy loss.
He said: "Coming back again, disappearing, coming back again. She is an epic story. And that's what Saga means." MGK added: "I'm also of Norwegian heritage so that's the Nordic goddess of storytelling."
He then went on to talk about what he thinks his daughter might do in the future as he said he thinks she's got a "storytelling future ahead of her". MGK and Megan's relationship first began back in 2020 when they met on the set of crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass.
MGK popped the question in 2022. They then went on to split in early 2023 before getting back together.
Later that year Megan said that she had a miscarriage during their relationship as she made the sad confession in her poetry book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. MGK also seemed to mention the loss in February 2024 in his song don't let me go where he sang: "How can I live with the fact / That my hand wasn't on her stomach when we lost the baby."
It was in November of last year that Megan announced that she was expecting their rainbow baby but the couple then split up just a month after the announcement. The on-off couple's daughter was later born in March.
Before being with MGK, Megan was married to actor Brian Austin Green for a decade.
The exes were together for 16 years in total and are parents to three sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, eight. MGK is also a dad to his daughter Casie Colson Baker who is 15-years-old and he shares with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.

‘Love Island USA' Winners Amaya and Bryan React to Discovering They've Become TV Darlings
'Love Island USA' winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales have emerged as reality TV megastars after America voted them Season 7's favorite couple over the weekend — and the two are only just learning just how beloved they've become. The two joined TODAY on Tuesday morning, live from Los Angeles, for their first TV interview since the show's finale Sunday night. They just returned to the U.S. after spending six weeks isolated in a luxurious villa in Fiji, along with dozens of other single twenty-somethings determined to find love. Amaya told TODAY's Savannah Guthrie and Willie Geist that they're just 'digesting' how the show became a phenomenon. 'I think we haven't realized how big it is yet,' Bryan said. 'Our first calls were to our families. And then we haven't really checked anything out other than that. So catching up.' 'It's amazing, the support and the love that we have,' Amaya added. 'We have each other (and) support each other. That's most important thing,' Bryan said. 'Super grateful just hearing that.' Amaya, 25, from New York, and Bryan, 28, from Massachusetts, were chosen as winners of 'Love Island USA' Season 7, based on votes by U.S. voters. They became a couple in the back half of the season, after the popular Casa Amor episodes, when groups of new cast members — better known as 'bombshells' — are added to the show to test connections. As winners, Amaya and Bryan were given a $100,000 prize that they decided to share between each other. They said on TODAY how they plan to use that money. 'We both want to invest it, but we also want to put it to charity,' Bryan said. 'I know she wants to do a Thanksgiving drive, and I definitely want to donate some to mental health awareness. That's something that's extremely important to me. I struggled with it as a kid growing up, so I just want to help kids face their emotions and know how to deal with them.' 'Love Island USA' is a show that airs in real-time, nearly every night of the week for six weeks — so the events viewers saw in each episode took place just days before. Dozens of islanders rotated in and were dumped from the villa before the finale dwindled down to four couples. Those runners-up were Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez, Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley, and Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe. Bryan and Amaya were crowned the winners — many thanks to Amaya, who joined the show early in Season 7 as a bombshell and captured the hearts of viewers with her animated personality and one-liners. Bryan said on TODAY that Amaya's quirks are what drew him to her. 'I remember there was a challenge where they were kind of trying to dim their light a little bit,' he said.
