Netflix has released the first teaser for My Life with the Walter Boys season 2, which picks up after Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) fled to New York City for the summer after kissing Cole (Noah LaLonde)
In the teaser, tensions are high amongst the Walter boys when it comes to Jackie, especially since Alex (Ashby Gentry) had confessed his love for her right before she kissed Cole and left for the summer
Season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys premieres Aug. 28 on NetflixJackie's summer of escapism in New York City is over, but is she ready for what she left behind in Silver Falls?
On Monday, July 7, Netflix dropped the first teaser for season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys, which picks up after Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) spent the summer away from the Walter family — and left to stew on how she left things in Colorado.
Season 1 ended with her fleeing to her home city after kissing Cole (Noah LaLonde) and dodging her boyfriend, Alex (Ashby Gentry), who'd just confessed his love for her.
The teaser begins with a look at Jackie's glitzy life in New York City, where she spent the summer living with her Uncle Richard (Alex Quijano) and working.
"I spent all summer spiraling about how — and why — I left," she says.
In Jackie's eyes, she doesn't "belong anywhere anymore."
Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) is quick to shut down that idea, though. "You do belong, Jackie," she tells her. "With us."
While Jackie was in New York for the summer, Alex has had a major glow-up — one that even Cole notices in the teaser — and that only makes things harder for Jackie, whose gaze he seems to be avoiding at all costs.
Alex, meanwhile, certainly seems to be enjoying his newfound popularity at school, which leaves Jackie looking forlorn and feeling left behind in the teaser.
Cole puts her on the spot, though. "Why did you really come back?" he asks her, before a series of longing looks between Jackie and both Walter brothers are exchanged, teasing that season 2 will bring the same love triangle tension to the forefront once again.
The 25-year-old actor told PEOPLE that season 2 is a "story of discovery" for Alex.
'They're trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in the world and what do they want with each other, with everything that lies beyond high school and the greater scheme of life. It's slightly more intense, as I've said, and it's really about them trying new things," he said.
When it comes to Alex's feelings toward Jackie, he said that his character "doesn't know how to handle what happened and is figuring out how to handle that. And he tries new things, and some of them work and some of them don't. There are two tragedies in life, either you don't get what you want or you get exactly what you want, and Alex experiences both in season 2."

Report: WWE SmackDown To Extend Three-Hour Format

WWE SmackDown may not return to a two-hour format… yet. 2025 began with WWE SmackDown running as a three-hour show on the USA Network, instead of its usual two hours. This was a significant change for the blue brand, which had largely been a two-hour show since its inception in 1999. Triple H later mentioned in January that this change was only temporary and that SmackDown would go back to two hours later. Advertisement In September 2024, WrestleVotes reported SmackDown would switch back to two hours in June after many three-hour episodes. Last month, WrestleVotes confirmed this again and said the change would likely happen with the June 6 episode of SmackDown, with Dave Meltzer also confirming this detail. However, recent reports from PWInsider say that things might not go as expected. The reports mentioned that the USA Network had internally listed WWE SmackDown as running three hours long in early June. This means the show might continue with the longer, three-hour format instead of going back to the usual two-hour format. It remains to be seen how much longer this format will last, but it looks like SmackDown will be a three-hour show a bit longer. WWE SmackDown May 23rd match card update The May 23 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will air live from the EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. This show will be the final stop before Saturday Night's Main Event. Below is updated match card for upcoming edition of SmackDown. Patriots, Blues pay tribute to legendary musician Ozzy Osbourne after singer's death at 76

Legendary metal singer and frontman Ozzy Osbourne died Tuesday. He was 76. Osbourne leaves behind quite the legacy. After a successful (and, at times, controversial) music career — both as a solo artist and as the frontman for Black Sabbath — Osbourne was introduced to an entirely new audience on the MTV reality show "The Osbournes." Given the hard-rocking, energetic nature of some of his most popular songs, Osbourne made a few appearances at NFL games over his career. One of those appearances came prior to a New England Patriots game in 2005. The Patriots used Black Sabbath's "Crazy Train" to introduce its players during the team's dynasty. Prior to the team's opener in 2005, it invited Osbourne to sing the song at the stadium in person. He obliged. The Patriots thanked Osbourne for being the voice of that introduction in a tweet Tuesday. Osbourne made a similar appearance during the Los Angeles Rams' season opener in 2022. Doing a live performance of two songs during halftime as the team took on the Buffalo Bills. His sports moments weren't limited to just NFL games. In 2003, he appeared at a Chicago Cubs game, where he sang an ... interesting ... rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" with his wife Sharon. Osbourne also found himself connected to the St. Louis Blues thanks to an unfortunate image. In 1984, Osbourne was arrested for public intoxication. In his mugshot, Osbourne is wearing a Blues jersey. He had played in St. Louis a few days before the arrest. Osbourne, however, decided to poke fun at the moment years later. When the Blues were in the midst of a playoff run in 2019, Osbourne tweeted out an image of the mugshot with the message "Let's go @StLouisBlues." He later tweeted out a picture of himself wearing an updated Blues jersey to show he was still supporting the team. The Blues replied to that tweet Tuesday, saying, "St. Louis loves you, Ozzy. RIP."
