Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos' 'edited' wedding photos send internet wild: 'How many thumbs you got, girl?'

Daily Mail10-07-2025
Photos of Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos on their wedding day are raising eyebrows after eagle-eyed social media users appeared to spot several photoshop fails.
The blushing bride, 55, tied the knot with the Amazon founder, 61, in Venice, Italy, on June 27 in a lavish three-day celebration which cost an estimated $50 million.
For her big day, Lauren wore a lacy Dolce & Gabbana gown that boasted floral-inspired embellishments, long sleeves, tight bodice, high neckline, enormous train and button studs down the front.
After exchanging vows, she posted a carousel of photos of herself in her wedding dress, as well as snap of herself and Jeff together in front of their loved ones.
At first glance, the pictures look like a sweet tribute to a very special day, but upon closer inspection some have noticed that not everything is as it seems.
Social media users have pointed out that in one photo, Lauren's gown appears to have buttons running all the way down the middle of it. However, in a different snap, the buttons seem to disappear beyond the waistline.
While there could be good reason for this – such as Lauren wearing a different ensemble, or a seamstress removing the buttons at the eleventh hour – some have assumed this is bad editing.
Others noticed that the snap of Lauren and Jeff at their wedding reception appears to have been altered.
They believe that evidence for this includes wedding guests with warped and missing fingers, as well as a white chair that seems to have a missing leg.
Taking their questions and observations to Lauren's Instagram, one asked: 'Why do the buttons at the back of the dress exist in second picture but not in the third?'
Another asked: 'Is this a social experiment? Why one picture has buttons going all the way through the back of the dress, another ends at the waistline?
'What is wrong with her fingers in the first picture? These are really weird things for a wedding that is so publicized. Weirder than the guest list.'
A third pointed out: 'Safety pin in first pic, disappearing buttons in third.'
'How many thumbs you got, girl?' another asked.
'Second and third photo- not the same dress... check where buttons end on the first one...' wrote a fifth.
Additionally, Instagram user Allison McSorley uploaded several posts where she dissected the images in a series of videos.
In one post, she said: 'This is what a synthetic fairytale looks like.
'Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding photos show glaring signs of AI manipulation: Buttons that change across images, a random safety pin through lace, distorted guests and warped fingers.
'And one version — blurry, smoothed, fake — was posted directly by Vogue.
'This isn't just about AI mistakes. This is about how billionaires and legacy media collude to sell us curated, computer-generated narratives.'
However, while many seem concerned by Lauren's supposed editing, others pointed out that brides have been manipulating their wedding photos for decades.
'Brides have been editing their pictures since at least 20 years ago when I got married,' one said.
'My photog airbrushed, blurred, enhanced, and removed images from my wedding pics and I know a million plus have as well. It's our one day and we love them to look a perfect. You're reaching boo.'

Conor McGregor and fiancée Dee Devlin look loved up as they enjoy a romantic child free dinner date during their lavish holiday - amid 'cheating' scandal and 'nudes' claims

Conor McGregor and his fiancée Dee Devlin looked as loved-up as ever as they enjoyed a romantic child free dinner date during their lavish yacht holiday in Sardinia, despite his alleged cheating scandal. The Irish MMA fighter, 37, was embroiled in controversy over the weekend when he was photographed kissing a mystery brunette woman on a beach in Fort Lauderdale. With his partner Dee - whom he shares four children with and has been engaged to since 2020 - nowhere in sight, questions were raised about their relationship. Rapper Azealia Banks then added to the furore as she took to X - formerly known as Twitter - to accuse Conor of sexual harassment. On Monday, Azealia, 34, shared nude photos which purported to show Conor, which she claimed he sent to her unprompted. Amid the backlash, Conor and Dee have shrugged off the criticism, continuing to display their affection for each other - and Conor's latest Instagram post on Saturday showed they're very much still going strong. In the holiday carousel, the couple were all smiles as they headed to shore for a romantic dinner for two. Dee looked radiant in a flowing floral-print dress, while Conor wore a satin, Pucci-inspired shirt paired with white trousers. The pair looked happier than ever as he shared a series of sweet selfies from their night together. He kept the caption simple, adding just a red heart emoji. The couple have been enjoying time in Sardinia together to celebrate Conor's 37th birthday - which was on July 14. Dee shared a gushing tribute to Conor on the day and they have both been posting loved-up content to social media in the days since while enjoying their trip. Their united display comes after concerns when Conor was seen smooching a mystery brunette in full view of fellow beachgoers in Fort Lauderdale. Conor was spotted enjoying a cold beverage while the woman, who was dressed in a leopard print bikini, shared his sun lounger. The pair chatted away in the shade as the sportsman cosied up to her by wrapping his arm around her back. Dee - with whom he shares children, daughter Croia, five, and sons Conor Jr, eight, Rian, three and Mack, 19 months, with - was nowhere in sight. However, Dee brushed off the scandal as she simply posted a loving tribute to Conor to her Instagram page on Monday. Dee shared a post from a fan account on her Instagram story which read: 'Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile.' Just hours later, Azealia set the internet ablaze after sharing alleged nude photos of Conor that she claims the disgraced star sent unprompted. She accused Conor of sexual harassment when she shared nude photographs purporting to show the MMA star. 'How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked d*** pics then threaten her not to tell,' she wrote alongside the screenshots. '@TheNotoriousMMA n**** do you know who the f*** I am? This is HARAM.' Azealia continued: 'Like how are you really going to sexually harrass me with the potato farmer d*** then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain't u trying to be the president of Ireland what is it giving fam? Use some f***ing sunscreen damn.' As well as the alleged nude selfies, the screenshots also showed a message from what purported to be Conor's account reading: 'Don't be a rat cos all rats get caught.' Alongside one image which seemingly shows his manhood strapped to a dumbbell, the Irish fighter apparently wrote: 'Lifting weights.' Azealia shared another screenshot of the alleged pictures suddenly being 'hidden' on X because she does not follow Conor's account. Although it is unclear if he had anything to do with that alleged change, she commented: 'The motherf***er woke up early LOL.' reached out to the last-known attorneys on record for Conor, his agent and Azealia's agent for comment at the time. It is the latest embarrassment to hit the sportsman's relationship with his partner Dee, who was ever-present by his side throughout his sexual assault court case last year. In 2024, Conor lost a civil case as jurors at the High Court in Dublin found him liable of raping Nikita Hand, 35, in a Dublin hotel on December 9, 2018, with the judge awarding Hand €250,000 in damages. But despite the verdict, Dee emphatically made it clear that she intended to back Conor - attacking Nikita in a series of posts on Instagram at the time. In the posts, she wrote: 'Conor and I dealt with these issues privately many years ago, as should be done in a relationship and we have come out stronger than ever. 'We have four beautiful children now whose smiling faces and happy hearts are a testament to who he is and who we are!' The pair have been together for 15 years and got engaged in August 2020 after Conor proposed while they were celebrating his birthday. The couple met as teenagers at a nightclub in 2008 and Dee has been a key player in the MMA star's story, supporting him when he was jobless and focused on making it as a professional fighter.
