Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards: How to watch, what to expect
June 20 (UPI) -- The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards return Saturday to honor fan favorites in TV, film, music and more.
The awards ceremony will broadcast live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Grammy award winner Tyla is set to host.
Performers include Alex Warren and Benny Blanco, while Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande are among the most-nominated artists.
How to watch
The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will air Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, Nick Jr., MTV2 and CMT.
Participants
Tyla will host the awards show.
Performers include Alex Warren, Auli'i Cravalho, Benny Blanco, Ice Spice, Jack Griffo, Jacob Rodriguez, Katelyn West, Kel Mitchell, Kira Kosarin, Maia Kealoha, Renee Montgomery, SeanDoesMagic, Samantha Lorraine, Tony Hawk, Victoria Monet and KATSEYE.
Actor and comedian Jack Black will be honored with the King of Comedy Award.

Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson and Jelly Roll are each up for three awards.
Gracie Abrams, Zach Bryan, Jordan Chiles, Frankie Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Keith Lee, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey, Shohei Ohtani and Florence Pugh have all been nominated for their first Kids' Choice Award.

Billy Joel is providing an update on his health two months after announcing he was diagnosed with a brain disorder. The "Piano Man" singer, 76, sat down with Bill Maher on the comedian's "Club Random" podcast in an episode released on Monday, July 21. Joel, who in May said he has been diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus, said he is feeling "fine" but having issues with his balance. "My balance sucks," he said. "It's like being on a boat." The singer continued, "I feel good. They keep referring to what I have as a brain disorder, so it sounds a lot worse than what I'm feeling." Joel also said he initially thought his balance issues were from drinking, noting that he used to drink "like a fish." When Maher asked Joel if his health issues were fixed, though, the Grammy winner noted, "It's not fixed. It's still being worked on." According to the Cleveland Clinic, normal pressure hydrocephalus occurs when fluid buildup disrupts brain function, and symptoms can include cognitive difficulties. "Billy is thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritizing his health. He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks forward to the day when he can once again take the stage." "He does have issues, but he said, 'Yeah, you can tell people I'm not dying,'" Stern said on June 3. "He wants people to know that. He's just go to deal with some medical stuff."

She and longtime partner, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, married Saturday, the BBC reports. The nuptials took place at Hackney Town Hall in London. The British music artist, who is well-known for her 2024 album Brat and the TikTok dance her song "Apple" inspired, confirmed the news with a pair of videos she posted over the weekend. The first shows Charli XCX walking into the room in a short white dress with a veil and dark sunglasses. "When George isn't crying when he sees me walking down the aisle," the text overlay on the video reads. She commented that he did shed a tear when he saw her. The second video showcases "bridal party energy" as the group parties.
