Home and Away star Tammin Sursok shares horrific health scare photos after stepping in ant nest
The Australian actress, 41, told her followers on Saturday she accidentally stepped on a fire ant nest and gotten bitten seven times.
Suffering a severe reaction, the Home and Away star broke out in painful looking blisters as her ankle swelled up to almost three times its size.
'In another episode of Tammin is allergic to bugs and insects, the ant bite situation has been gnarly... I stepped on an ant nest. Got bitten by seven,' she said.
'Ran into my house and yelled at everyone, "Don't be worried. I'm taking off all my clothes."'

Tammin then went on to post a poll to her Stories, asking her followers if they wanted to see a photo of the allergic reaction she had to the ant bites.
It would appear the majority of her fans said yes, as she posted the shocking image just moments later.
'Fire ants are no joke! Swelling has gone down thank goodness! They are all the way around [her ankle],' Tammin captioned the image.
The photo saw her ankle looking very red and swollen with several large blisters marring the skin.
It comes just a few months after Tammin revealed a shock health update after she visited her doctor for a routine check-up following a spider bite.
The Australian actress was bitten in March and visited her GP the following day to undergo a standard examination.
But the former Home and Away star's routine trip to the local medical centre soon turned harrowing when her doctor found something 'unexpected'.
The saga began when Tammin, who is based in Nashville, Tennessee, told her Instagram followers she had been bitten.
Sharing an image of a tiny raised bump on her arm, she said: 'You'd think because I'm from Australia I'd know about spiders.
'One just bit me. It's so painful. Do I just do the ring around the spot and watch it?'
Tammin appeared unconcerned by the bite as she already had a routine check-up scheduled with her doctor for the following day.
She shared an update as she sat in the waiting room at her GP, showing the bite had become very red.
'Spider bite update. Went to bed thinking it's gone away. Pain slightly better. This morning...' she wrote alongside a shocked emoji.
But the news soon got worse for Tammin just a few hours later when she spoke with her doctor and learned they found something 'unexpected' during her check-up.
Assuring followers the health concern was unrelated to the spider bite, Tammin said she underwent an ultrasound to investigate it further but is yet to receive the results.
'Found out some news at the Dr that was unexpected. Thinking positively but please keep me in your good thoughts,' she said alongside a selfie.
'Always advocate for your health. Ask for second opinions. Trust your gut.'
Tammin later uploaded a video to her Stories as she sat in her car after the doctor's visit.
'So, I just got back from the doctor's. I was having my routine yearly exam. Very important,' she said.
'While that was happening, nothing to do with the spider, they found something a little unexpected. I ended up getting an ultrasound.
'Don't really know much more than that. Just being super positive. Thank you for asking. I'm just not going to share anything until I have anything to share.'
The Pretty Little Liars star finished her video with: 'I'm just hoping everything is all good. Lots of positive thoughts.'
Tammin currently lives in Nashville with her husband Sean McEwen who she married in an Italian ceremony in 2011.
The couple share two daughters—Phoenix, 11, and Lennon, five.

Bluey fans rage as ABC bans iconic episode for surprising reason: 'A lot of parents rely on it'
Fans of the ABC children's cartoon series, Bluey, are up in arms after a popular episode was pulled off the network. The episode, titled Hammerbarn and originally airing as part of season two of the show, has been removed from ABC's on-demand streaming service, iView. The episode was removed due to featuring a partnership with the Bunnings Warehouse hardware store chain, which is currently selling Bluey-themed garden gnomes and other Bluey merchandise. An ABC representative explained to the Daily Telegraph that the government-funded network is prevented from partaking in commercial partnerships. 'This campaign is a BBC Studios and Bunnings partnership. As the ABC cannot align with a commercial brand or partnership, the Bluey episode "Hammerbarn" will temporarily be unavailable on ABC iview while the Bunnings Hammerbarn campaign is live,' the representative told the publication. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'However "Hammerbarn" will return to ABC iview at a later date.' The missing episode has upset a lot of fans, with Kate McMahon, host of the Bluey podcast Gotta Be Done, explaining that some parents 'rely' on the show. 'Hammerbarn is one of the most iconic Bluey episodes and so to have it removed from the platform is a shame,' she said. 'A lot of parents rely on an episode of Bluey to get them through the day so to lose one like this is really tough.' The temporary ban comes on the back of Bunnings Warehouse bringing back a wildly popular $19 item on Wednesday, after previously selling out within hours of hitting shelves. The Bluey garden gnomes have made a comeback, along with three new additions - Gerald and Bride and Groom Gnomes - which are expected to fly off shelves. After a huge success last year, fan-favourite characters Hecuba, Tony, Jeremy and Meditation Gnomes are back on shelves - with many shoppers eager to get their hands on the sought-after ceramics. 'We're thrilled to bring another slice of Bluey's world into homes across Australia - this time with our Bluey-inspired kids' homewares range, and of course, the much-loved Bluey gnomes,' Bunnings general manager marketing Justine Mills said. 'It's clear how much fans connect with the show given how quickly last year's Bluey gnomes flew off the shelves. 'We know they will be eager to build on their collections, and we're excited to see how customers respond to our new range and in-store activities... Bluey and Bunnings couldn't stay apart - the duo just works.' The gnomes sparked a frenzy last year - with shoppers revealing they missed out on them as they had already been snapped up by the time they got to the store. They were so popular that Bunnings was forced to introduce a purchase limit, allowing customers to buy only four gnomes per transaction. Fans have already expressed their excitement over the return of the gnomes, with one mum revealing: 'Wow this is going to cost me a fortune - I want them all.' For families looking for a mid-winter makeover, homewares from Bluey and Bingo's bedroom will be available in real-life products in-store and online. From the iconic watermelon rug to light-up paper lanterns and glow-in-the-dark stickers, Bunnings is stocking everything you need to transform your kid's space with a Bluey twist. The warehouse giant has joined forces with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio again to unveil an adorable Bluey range, with Hammerbarn branded socks, key rings, bucket hats and children's tote bags available across all stores. For families looking for a makeover, homewares from Bluey and Bingo's bedroom will be available in real life products - including the iconic watermelon rug 'Partnering with Bunnings once more allows us to deliver fresh, engaging experiences that celebrate Bluey's quintessential Aussie-ness and connect deeply with fans,' BBC Studios Australia & New Zealand, Director of Brands & Licensing, Scott Modra said. 'This partnership continues to resonate so strongly with families, and it's been incredible to see how Bluey has become part of the everyday language and play of kids across the country. 'From the gnomes to the new bedroom range, this collaboration is all about sparking imagination and fun - and we can't wait to see how fans embrace it this year.' From Wednesday, July 30, Bunnings stores across Australia launched DIY activities and a scavenger hunt for families to enjoy - plus new Bluey products and Hammerbarn merchandise - inspired by the show's much-loved hardware store.

Inside LanLan's LAVISH penthouse home with eye-popping views over the harbour - and TWO Rolls-Royce in the underground garage
The elusive heiress who was behind the wheel of her Tiffany-blue Rolls-Royce SUV that smashed into a celebrity chauffeur is bunkered down in a multi-million-dollar penthouse in Sydney 's east, while mystery surrounds the origins of her wealth. LanLan Yang, 23, was allegedly drunk behind the wheel of her Rolls-Royce Cullinan in the early hours of Saturday morning when she crashed into George Plassaras' van - writing off her car and leaving him hospitalised. Mr Plassaras is the longtime chauffeur to radio king Kyle Sandilands who was not in the car during the accident. As intrigue grows around the source of her fabulous wealth, the petite designer-clad Chanel fan is living in a luxury three-bedroom penthouse with a wraparound balcony. The lavish home boasts spectacular views of the city skyline, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and across the harbour to the lower north shore and Manly on the northern beaches. The Daily Mail has previously revealed Yang also owns a second unregistered white Rolls-Royce Ghost Convertible, worth up to $800,000, which lies parked and unused in the underground garage of her Vaucluse penthouse. It uses a car-lift that can only take 3,000kg, which is likely why she opted to park her overweight luxury SUV - said to have cost $1.5million with all options fitted - more than many people's houses - outside on her street instead of garaging it. Residents living in the elite rental block, which is said to cater only to 'discerning clientele', say the young scion is 'polite' and 'shy' but rarely seen at the property. They added that she loved to decorate the dashboard of her unique car with the mega-exclusive and hard-to-find Labubu collectible toys. 'She adorned the front of the car with those Labubus - it's cute,' the neighbour revealed. However, since her brush with the law last weekend, Yang has gone to ground and is now keeping the curtains drawn at her lavish home. The mysterious origin of her substantial wealth has captivated many living in Sydney's very well-heeled east who are eager to know more about her family and upbringing. On Wednesday, the Daily Mail confronted Yang as she reported to Rose Bay Police Station, dressed in a Chanel ensemble, five days after smashing her customised car. Yang was flanked by a minder as she was grilled on video about how she would plead to the charges she now faces, how she can afford two Rolls-Royces and if she had any reaction to Mr Plassaras's shocking revelation the crash cost him his right hip. The crash also left Mr Plassaras with a broken spine, broken ribs, a ruptured spleen and diaphragm, a torn open abdomen, two broken hips and two broken femurs. Speaking from the ICU on Wednesday's Kyle & Jackie O show, Plassaras revealed that he has a lengthy road to recovery. 'I've got no right hip,' Mr Plassaras said. 'It's totally gone'. However, Yang did not acknowledge her alleged victim's horrific injuries when told by our reporter. Instead, she kept her head bowed as she returned to her own chauffeur-driven minivan - a far cry from the two luxury vehicles she currently owns. Sandilands previously described his chauffeur Mr Plassaras as the 'greatest employee ever'. 'What did [he] say when he was taken away in the ambulance? He asked for his mobile phone so he could do what?' he said. 'This is a guy at 4.30 in the morning after he has been cut out of his vehicle, he's been trapped in his van for an hour, this poor bloke. 'And he asks the ambo: 'Get my phone so I can make sure Kyle's all right for the week.' Mr Plassaras had to be cut from his vehicle before he was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition. The $1.5million Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV was often seen parked on the streets of Sydney He could be heard yelling for help inside the crushed vehicle, as emergency crews from NSW Police Rescue and Fire and Rescue NSW worked to free him. The crash was captured on nearby CCTV, which appeared to show Yang's luxury SUV allegedly veering into oncoming traffic before the violent collision. Her Rolls-Royce and his Mercedes are being held in a secure lot in Alexandria pending a police investigation. When she was taken to Waverley Police Station following the crash, police allege Yang refused to undergo a breath analysis. She was charged with causing bodily harm by misconduct, being in charge of a motor vehicle and refusing or failing to submit to breath analysis. Yang was granted conditional bail to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on August 15. She has not entered a plea to the charges.

Guy Pearce: ‘I don't think I'll look as good in a frock as I did when I was 25'
You once said you need to be so in control of things that if you had brain surgery, you'd only feel comfortable doing it yourself. Do you still feel this way? FioreSebekI don't remember saying that, but I can see how someone might joke about it. There's usually room for improvisation in life, but I have never been a very good improviser when it comes to acting. When I do things in my own accent, like Jack Irish, he was quite laissez-faire and flippant, so I could be looser and pull stuff out of the air. But when I'm working with high-powered actors and speaking with a tricky accent, I'm learning my lines, doing what's required and staying in control. If you were attending a dinner party where all the other guests were characters you have played, who would you sit next to, and who would you avoid? FrocksAwayI'd avoid Eric from The Rover and the Reverend from Brimstone, because they might kill me. Ed Exley from LA Confidential is quite arrogant and boring. I'd like to sit next to Andy Warhol, who I've played [in Factory Girl]. Houdini would be interesting, although I don't reckon you'd get a word in. And Leonard from Memento would start with dessert and finish with the starter because he's all backwards. I love my partner dearly, but she says if she was ever going to leave me, it would be for 'Mike from Neighbours'. What can I do to make her stop? Perhaps you can tell her for me? TooMuchSpareTimeNo, I'm not going to make her stop. I'm with her all the way if she thinks: if you're going to have an affair, make sure you have one with Annette Bening, or whoever. Maybe she needs to watch a couple of the horrible characters I've played, like Charley Rakes in Lawless. That's another character I don't want to sit next to. She should watch Brimstone and Lawless, and I can guarantee you she will have lost interest in Mike from Neighbours. When they first sent you the script for Memento, was it backwards? lagodeluna It was exactly as you see it in the film. Speaking of people who are in control of what they're doing, Christopher Nolan is king of that, because he so brilliantly constructed something where there was no room for things to move around. When my agent sent me the script, he said: 'By the way, this all goes backwards.' I'm glad he did, otherwise I would have read it three times before I got what was going on. Any news about the Priscilla, Queen of the Desert sequel? Have you boarded the lavender bus again, or are you still stuck in the pre-production desert? badrobot2 and feirefitzWe're stuck in the pre-production desert, going back and forth on the script, locations and budget. I feel there's enough love in the room to make it happen. I don't know if I am looking forward to putting on a dress again. I don't think I'm going to look as good in a frock as I did in 1993 when I was 25. Funnily enough, I was contacted by Madame Tussauds, who were setting up in Australia and wanted to have iconic Australian actors, like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Russell Crowe from Gladiator, Eric Bana from Chopper and me from Priscilla. I was filming Prometheus in London, so they said: 'Could you come in to Madame Tussauds and stand in your underwear, pulling this pose' – they had a photo – 'and we're going to take six million photos from every angle?' I said: 'This is 2011. I'm not in the same shape that I was in 1993.' They went: 'Yes, yes, yes. Everyone wants bigger muscles and bigger boobs. We'll make the clay model first, you can come in, and if there's anything you don't like, you can let us know.' So I had to go in and say: 'If you look at this photo, my waist used to be a little bit thinner,' and they said: 'Oh yeah, good point.' Did you have an inkling that LA Confidential would be such a masterpiece while you were filming it? GasparGarcao No, is the answer. I don't really have an inkling for anything. I'd done four or five films in Australia, but it was a totally different environment: in the US, with Americans, on an American film. The whole thing was so big, it was hard for me to gauge anything. I was too focused on trying to do a good job to think: 'Wow, this is going to be good.' I was the second person cast after Russell Crowe. Russ and I were rehearsing while they were working with the script, and casting other people. So then David Strathairn, Kim Basinger and Danny DeVito turned up. James Cromwell says to my character in the film: 'Would you be willing to shoot a hardened criminal in the back to save face?' I say: 'No no no,' being all moral, but in the end, I shoot him in the back. When I shot him, the wadding from the shotgun flew out and hit him in the back of the head. He was 30ft away, so everyone had said: 'Don't worry, it's safe.' But, for a moment, I thought: 'Jeez. I've killed him. I'll never work in Hollywood again.' Was there a particular role that earned you Radiohead's nod of approval to appear in their music video for Follow Me Around? McScootikins I don't think so. They contacted my agent in the US saying: 'Do you have any actors who might want to do it?' And Chris, my agent, who knows I'm a big Radiohead fan, said straight away: 'Guy Pearce is in London right now.' I was filming A Spy Among Friends with Damian Lewis and said: 'I have to take a call with Thom Yorke about this Radiohead music video I'm in. So, excuse me.' Are you grateful that your late 80s pop career didn't take off? Megapode777That's the best question I've ever been asked in my life. After I finished Neighbours, there was a period where people would say: 'Didn't you used to be Mike from Neighbours?' Then one day, this 10- or 12-year-old kid came up to me in a shopping centre and said: 'Didn't you used to be Guy Pearce?' I thought: 'Wow, that's the most profound thing anyone's ever said,' because, in a way, it was true. I always knew I wasn't just a soap opera actor. I was just stuck in that cycle. Prior to Neighbours, I'd done 10 years of theatre, which made playing the same character for four years frustrating. I wanted to delve into a wider variety of personalities and behaviours. But when I finished Neighbours in 1989, I was in the wilderness because no one wanted to employ the guy who was in Neighbours, and I struggled to find work. I went back and did some theatre, a little bit of Home and Away and then, in 1993, I got to do Priscilla. So, yes, I'm really grateful that my 80s pop career didn't take off! Inside is available on digital, DVD and Blu-ray on 11 August
