Man (30s) charged after death of man (70s) in Waterford
Gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of an incident at a residential property in St Catherine's Grange shortly after 2pm on Friday.

A man in his 70s was discovered at the scene with injuries and in an unresponsive condition.
He was transported to University Hospital Waterford for treatment and was pronounced deceased on Sunday.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene during the incident and subsequently detained at a Garda station within the Waterford-Kilkenny Division under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He was later charged in relation to the investigation and appeared before Waterford District Court on Sunday.
The local Coroner and the Office of the State Pathologist have been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out. A technical and forensic examination at the scene has been completed.
A Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) is leading the investigation and a Family Liaison Officer (FLO) is providing support to the deceased's family. An incident room has been established at Waterford Garda Station.
Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

A four-year-old girl has died following an incident at a swimming pool at Waterworld, Staffordshire Police said. The force was called to the water park in Hanley, Stoke -on-Trent, at around 4.20pm on Monday to reports of a girl in a critical condition. "We are now making inquiries and looking to establish the circumstances of the incident. "We would ask that members of the public avoid speculating in these early stages of the investigation and allow the family to grieve." A man in his 70s found dead following an incident at a residential property in Waterford on Friday has been named locally as former Waterford crystal worker Pat Fitzgerald. "Waterworld staff and colleagues from the West Midlands Ambulance Service treated the girl at the scene before paramedics took her to hospital for further treatment. "Despite the best efforts of hospital staff, the girl died a short while later. "The girl's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers."
