'Saiyaara Nahi, F1 Dekhne…': Bobby Deol Responds To Paps Asking About Ahaan Panday's Film
Last Updated: Bobby Deol was clicked outside a theatre on Saturday night when fans asked him about Saiyaara. The actor calmly replied that he came to watch Brad Pitt's F1 instead. Saiyaara fever has currently gripped the country. The film, which marks the Bollywood debuts of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has taken the nation by storm. Celebrities and fans alike have been sharing their reviews of the film on social media. Amid the Saiyaara buzz, Bobby Deol was spotted outside a theatre in Mumbai last night. When asked about Saiyaara, Bobby had this to say. Bobby Deol, on Saturday night, went for a movie with his son. Without checking which film the Animal actor watched, paps assumed that he watched Saiyaara. They asked him how did he like Saiyaara. Replying to this, Bobby calmly replied, 'Saiyaara nahi F1 dekhne aaya hoon (Not Saiyaara, I have come to watch F1). However, he ensured he lauded Ahaan's film too: 'Saiyaara bohot kamaal ki film (It's a great film)." Take a look at his video: For the unversed, Brad Pitt's F1 shares equal craze all over the globe, with many Bollywood stars such as Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, and others lauding the Hollywood project. Also starring Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem, the film became the third Hollywood title this year to enter the Rs 100 crore-club, alongside Jurassic World Rebirth and Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning. As for Saiyaara, the film broke records by earning Rs 21.25 crore on Day 1. The film has outperformed the first day collections of Murder 2 (Rs 6.95 crore), Aashiqui 2 (Rs 6.10 crore), and Half Girlfriend (Rs 10.30 crore). The film has also surpassed the the collections of Ek Villain (2014), which collected Rs 16 crore on its opening day, by becoming Mohit Suri's biggest opener ever. From 2225 screens in week one, Saiyaara is now running in packed 3650 screens and is set to have another record-breaking second week. The film earned Rs 190 crore at the box office in eight days, surpassing the records set by Bollywood A-listers' releases this year. Saiyaara released on July 18, 2025, in theatres worldwide, sans much promotions. The strategy clearly worked for the film as the makers made a clever choice to save their chemistry for the big screen. Have you watched the film yet?
