spoke about his new release, 'Inheritance,' and how the film was being shot in parts. Shot on iPhone, the film experiments with cinematography, and when the scenes were being shot in public spaces, the actors were advised to improvise the lines when non-crew members interacted with them.
While filming in New York, Phoebe had a scene where she had to steal a bottle from the store and then drink on the street.
However, the police, who did not know about the ongoing shoot, approached the actress and asked her why she was drinking in the public space.
With the mindset of not breaking character and improvising the lines, Phoebe refused to show her ID. The situation escalated to the point where the crew and Burger had to step in, telling the officers that they were shooting a film.

The improvisation did not end there. The entire film is shot in the parts of Seoul, Cairo, New York, and New Delhi. While shooting in New Delhi, Burger took shots in public places and markets. The other people, aside from the crew, did not know about the shoot, which was kept intentional, allowing to keep the shots to remain in natural ambience.
Phoebe interacted with people in New Delhi who tried to sell her the products of the markets, improvising the lines. Burger added that she did not break the character.

In a city where sabhas are synonymous with iyal (literature), isai (music) and nadagam (drama), Krishna Gana Sabha keeps the tradition of theatre alive every year with its Summer Drama Fest. For ten days, the sabha's stage becomes a canvas for laughter, nostalgia, and hard truths. As the 2025 edition unveiled on June 26, the stage once again became the meeting ground for veteran drama troupes sharpening their skills to meet the new-age audience. 'The drama fest was initially started in 1960. It's been over sixty years. It was my father (R Yagnaraman) who was the pioneer of Krishna Gana Sabha and this drama fest as well,' says Y Prabhu, general secretary of Krishna Gana Sabha. 'The intent was to provide a platform for Tamil theatre artistes to exhibit their talents.' Various well-known veteran drama troupes including, actor Sivaji Ganesan troupe, actor Nagesh troupe, actress Manorama troupe, actor Mouli troupe among others have been part of this drama fest in the 90s.
