Lewis enters Saturday night with a 2-1 record over his last three fights, most recently having defeated Rodrigo Nascimento via TKO (punches). However, that bout was well over a year ago at this point, having taken place in May of 2024, so it'll be interesting to see how the heavy-hitting heavyweight looks after such a long layoff. Lewis boasts a career record of 28-12-0 and owns the record for most career knockout wins in UFC history.
Teixeira, meanwhile, enters Saturday night's bout against Lewis with an undefeated record for his career, sitting at 8-0-0. Most recently, the 25-year-old Brazilian defeated Justin Tafa in February of this year via TKO (knee to the body and elbow), an impressive victory for Teixeira in a result that earned him a Performance of the Night bonus.
Tonight's Fight Night will be a treat for UFC fans, as other well-known fighters such as Wonderboy Stephen Thompson and Calvin Kattar will also be throwing down, both against younger fighters with promising futures.

Sixers star Joel Embiid addresses narratives, talks James Harden
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is currently working his way back from a second knee surgery in 14 months. The big fella, and superstar player, was clearly not himself in 2024-25 as he played only 19 games and averaged 23.8 points and 8.2 rebounds while shooting only 44.4% from the floor and 29.9% from deep. In order for the Sixers to have any type of chance at winning a championship, Embiid has to be great. He knows that. He has tried and has worked his tail off to be in the best position possible, but injuries have completely derailed everything. One really has to feel for him as he continues to work his way back to his 2023 MVP form. A guy like him doesn't deserve what he has gone through. He has worked so hard to be in the best position, but his body continues to betray him. Embiid sees everything. In a candid interview with ESPN's Dotun Akintoye, the big fella addresses some narratives about his career among other important topics. Sixers Wire will highlight only some: Embiid to ESPN about the narrative that he makes excuses "It's not making excuses. When you're hurt every year and everybody knows it, it's the truth," he says. "Now, do you believe, if he was 100 percent does he have what it takes to have a chance at winning? I think a lot of people believe that because I've shown it in the regular season when I was healthy." "What if I did this and I was like, 'You know what? I'm just going to chill all season and coast and average 25? Or 20.' And in the playoffs, I go average 30. Would that make me look great? Probably. If I went from averaging 23 to 30 -- A playoff riser. Oh, my God. Joel Jordan. Whatever. "The Brooklyn series two years ago is a perfect example. Double me everywhere. Half court, as soon as I had the ball, that coach was like, 'Go get it.' And guess what? I was fine with it because we kicked the ball out, we made shots, and we won. But guess what it did? It lowered the stats. "So, if that's the narrative that's out there, I'm OK with that because I know what I'm going through and I know what's going on. And no one is in my body to understand what I'm going through." Embiid on the narrative that he only cares about individual awards "If you are in a position to win an MVP, I don't care who you are, you're going after it because I never believed I would be in this position, first of all. Second of all, when I got in the league I thought, 'Yeah, maybe I'll have a chance to be a great defensive player.' I never thought I was going to be this good offensively." Embiid on the narrative that he lacks the extra intangible to win "No one is a winner until they've done it. I'm fine with that narrative because I haven't done it. Charles Barkley, great player, right? But he never won. [Allen Iverson] never won. … But that doesn't mean they weren't great. They were amazing. "Everybody leads in his own way. I lead on the court," Embiid continues. "Over the years, you also grow, and you learn a lot. If you ask my teammates now, they'll tell you a way different story than my teammates a couple years ago, because years ago, I was nowhere to be found." The James Harden situation Embiid and Harden formed one of the deadliest pick-and-rolls in the NBA. The big fella led the league in scoring in the 2022-23 season on his way to winning MVP while Harden led the league in assists. The two of them were fantastic. When Harden made his first return to Philadelphia as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, he stated that he and Embiid don't have a relationship anymore. That was in March of 2024. Embiid told ESPN about his relationship with Harden: "No one knows this, but even James [Harden] is not talking to me," Embiid tells me. "That's the part I don't like about being 'that guy,' because it puts you in the middle of those situations. Because if you ask James, he probably believes I had something to do with him not being here. And I'm just like, 'I won the scoring title. You won the assists title. We had a pick-and-roll that was unstoppable.'" The Sixers will go as far as Embiid takes them. It remains to be seen if he will be ready to go when training camp begins in September, but the big fella is certainly going to give it his best shot.

Arsenal move for Rodrygo Goes improbable as Real Madrid issue grows
Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes seems destined to leave the club this summer, but where he will head to is a question that complicates any exit significantly. The Brazilian was heavilty courted last summer, with Liverpool and Manchester City looking at a deal, but that is no longer the case. Although new manager Xabi Alonso claimed that Rodrygo would be 'important' in his side, the 24-year-old forward started just one of the six Real Madrid games in the Club World Cup. Going back to the Copa del Rey final, his start against Al-Hilal is his only one in 11 games. Los Blancos are set to meet with Rodrygo to discuss his future this week. Arsenal reduce interest in Rodrygo Goes The main suitor linked with Rodrygo were Arsenal. The Gunners were reportedly interested in him, but not for the €90m price tag that Real Madrid have set for him. Cadena SER say that it is too high for the Premier League sides interested in him, and that Arsenal are no longer seriously considering a move for him. Their deals for Viktor Gyokeres and Chelsea's Noni Madueke have significantly reduced the need to sign Rodrygo, although they say the chances are not totally dead in the water. Image via Getty Images Liverpool interest also hinges on other deals More recently Rodrygo has been linked with a move to Liverpool, who enquired about his availability last summer. However having spent big on Florian Wirtz, Liverpool are now pursuing Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, both of which would be club record deals. If they were to bring in Isak, then that would close off Liverpool as an option too. Awkward issue for Xabi Alonso If Rodrygo does stay, it leaves Alonso with a tricky issue to handle early on. Thus far Alonso has used two systems primarily, a 3-5-2 and a 4-3-3 in general terms. The former has no natural fit for Rodrygo, compared to Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and Gonzalo Garcia, while the latter would likely require Rodrygo to be a defensively active right winger, a task he has struggled to perform thus far. The Basque manager has made it clear that Rodrygo is not a central part of his plans, and he may have to repair relations with the Brazilian.

Puka Nacua cracks PFF's top 50 players list: How high did the Rams WR rank?
Puka Nacua's production speaks for itself: 184 catches, 2,476 yards and nine touchdowns in his first 28 games as a pro. That's an average of 6.6 receptions and 88.4 yards per game, which both rank among the best in the NFL in the last two years. Not only is he one of the top receivers in football – despite what NFL coaches and executives think – but he's one of the best overall players in the league. Pro Football Focus ranked the top 50 players for 2025 and like Jared Verse, Nacua made the cut. Nacua came in at No. 32, ahead of fellow receivers such as CeeDee Lamb (36), Nico Collins (37), Tyreek Hill (39) and Mike Evans (48). All of those players were ranked higher in ESPN's poll of coaches and executives, where Nacua was 12th as an 'honorable mention.' Nacua played only 11 games in 2024 due to injury but still finished with the NFL's highest receiving grade at 93.0. He's also coming off a 1,486-yard rookie season in 2022. Over the past two years, he ranks seventh among receivers in PFF WAR (1.01). The scary part? Nacua is still getting better, building on an already elite level of production and efficiency. It's hard to know exactly how Davante Adams' arrival will impact Nacua, but it's not as if Puka hasn't played alongside an elite receiver before; he was Cooper Kupp's teammate for the last two seasons. He should still see a healthy number of targets and typically when the ball is thrown his way, he's producing a ton of yards. Only entering his third year as a pro, Nacua should continue to get better. He may have had more receptions and yards as a rookie but in fewer games last season, he was even more efficient and reliable. That's the exciting part.
