FOX's ‘America's Game of the Week' 2025 schedule revealed, starting with Super Bowl LIX rematch
Brady joined the Burkhardt team, which included Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi, for the 2024 season. The quartet is back for another exciting slate of games that starts with a Super Bowl rematch.
The Philadelphia Eagles are traveling to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Chiefs, the team they defeated, 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. That game will kick off in Week 2.
From there, the crew will call the following games:
So, after seeing who comes out on top between the two conference winners in 2024, Dak Prescott and his new receiver George Pickens will head to the "Windy City" to face Caleb Williams and his expected new-look offense under head coach Ben Johnson, who led the Lions' dynamic bunch as their offensive coordinator last year.
A matchup between two of the most explosive offenses in the league will happen in Cincinnati, as the Lions and Jared Goff will try to outscore Joe Burrow, who expects his stellar performance to result in a playoff spot this time around.
Additionally, of course, some classic divisional rivalries are in the slate, including a good Thanksgiving Day matchup between the Jordan Love-led Packers and Lions. The NFC East will also be featured with the Week 12 and Week 18 games.
The Lions, as well as the Cowboys, will be the most featured teams for "America's Game of the Week," as they will each play four times.
It is also worth pointing out how the Commanders, who made it to the NFC Championship Game last season, are now thrust into the position of being a playoff contender moving forward under the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Perhaps the Giants, a team with a brand-new quarterbacks room which includes Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and first-rounder Jaxson Dart, can find themselves in the same position as Washington this season.
It will be tough sledding, as they have the hardest strength of schedule of any team in 2025.
With the schedule released, the only thing left to do is wait in suspense as NFL teams continue to work through the offseason with training camp ahead this summer.

Former Wisconsin football standout Zack Baun was included in ESPN's list of the top 10 off-ball linebackers ahead of the 2025 NFL season earlier this month. Baun is the third former Badger to receive a position on the outlet's preseason positional rankings, joining two-time Doak Walker Award winner Jonathan Taylor (running backs) and defensive legend T.J. Watt (edge rushers). The off-ball linebacker list is powered by a feedback from dozens of NFL league executives, coaches and scouts, which ESPN then parlays into a top 10 ranking based on their vote totals, composite average position and information from interviews. Following that method, the outlet listed Baun as the No. 3 off-ball linebacker in the NFL ahead of this coming season. At No. 3, Baun is sandwiched between Baltimore Ravens superstar Roquan Smith (No. 2) and Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winner Nick Bolton (No. 4). Four-time first-team All-Pro Fred Warner earned the top spot, followed by Washington Commanders' rising star Frankie Luvu (No. 5), Chicago Bear Tremaine Edmunds (No. 6), Buccaneers veteran Lavonte David (No. 7), second-year Dallas Cowboy DeMarvarion Overshown (No. 8), Denver Bronco Dre Greenlaw (No. 9) and New York Jet Quincy Williams (No. 10). ProFootballFocus' list of the top 32 linebackers ahead of 2025 had Baun at No. 2 behind only Warner, who is widely considered the best linebacker of his decade. Entering his second year in Philadelphia, it appears as if Baun is poised to become a household name at this stage of his career. The Wisconsin native's numbers convey the same message. In 16 starts for the Eagles, who hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in a dominant win over the Chiefs this winter, the former Badger registered 151 tackles, 11 for loss, five quarterback hits, 3 1/2 sacks, four pass deflections, five forced fumbles and an interception. By the season's end, Baun was named a first-team All-Pro, a Pro Bowler and a finalist for the 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award alongside T.J. Watt, Myles Garrett, Trey Hendrickson and Patrick Surtain II (winner). In the postseason, Baun was responsible for 33 total tackles (20 solo), two tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and one forced fumble across four playoff games. In Super Bowl 59, he notched a team-best seven tackles (three solo) and a crucial interception on three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. Baun's explosive year led to a three-year, $51 million contract extension with Philadelphia this offseason. Good luck to defenders trying to tackle Commanders' Deebo Samuel in 2025
Is Deebo Samuel fit or fat? Video of the new Washington Commanders wide receiver went viral when he was working out during the voluntary part of the offseason schedule. Concerns were raised and criticisms launched all over social media. John Keim recently chatted with Samuel's personal trainer, Nick Hill, on his podcast. Hill is not a recent addition for Samuel. In fact, when Samuel was coming out of South Carolina, he worked with Hill in preparation for the 2019 NFL Combine. Things went well for Samuel, working prior to the draft with Hill, as Samuel was selected by the San Francisco 49ers 36th overall in the second round of that 2019 draft. Hill informed Keim that, during the draft preparation, he had an unbelievable receiver class, featuring Samuel, A.J. Brown, D.K. Metcalf, Paris Campbell, N'Keal Harry, and Johnny Dixon. Apparently, Samuel, after a couple of seasons, returned to Hill, as Hill had conveyed to Keim that Samuel and Hill had now worked together for the last four years. When Keim asked what has stood out regarding Samuel, Hill didn't hesitate to respond, "He's so explosive, really good at acceleration, and very powerful. That's what he is special at, and that is why when he gets the ball in his hands he is so dangerous; he is so quick from point A to point B. And that is still special to this day." Get this! Hill went as far as to say Samuel's body type is similar to another player who has worked out and worked with Hill, Saquon Barkley: "Just strong, powerful, fast." When Keim inquired regarding what type of worker Samuel is, Hill replied, "He's the type of guy that once he gets something in his mind and he puts those blinders on, he's going full speed. We are going at 6 am right now. He is going two or three sessions a day, going to bed and waking up the next day, and going after it again." Hill expressed that Samuel always takes a month to six weeks off after the season, but then once he starts working out again, he is on the gas pedal. Hill even went as far as to use the word "disciplined" regarding Samuel's workouts. Knowing of the photos and videos featuring Samuel that circulated a couple of months ago, Hill attempted to assure Commanders fans that Samuel had never reported to training camp or begun a season overweight. Contending that Samuel is naturally built bigger, Hill was unrelenting with Keim that Samuel will never be a 180-pound receiver. He simply has too much muscle and is too big; he will most often play at 220 at this stage of his career. Apparently, Samuel has also expressed to Hill that he is enjoying his new identity as a receiver on the Commanders, who is here to prove himself under his one-year deal. Deebo Samuel did not forget some of the terrible things said about him this offseason. You can see it in the workout videos that those close to Samuel have shared. His personal trainer recently said Samuel weighed 220 pounds. Could you imagine trying to tackle Samuel in the open field? During last month's minicamp, a video of Samuel jogging during a route went viral. There was nothing to it. Of course, social media engagement accounts "like" and share the photo, with some snarky comments, either insinuating that Samuel was out of shape or giving a half-hearted effort. Samuel has the receipts. In a video shared on his Instagram on Friday, Samuel shared several of those X posts in rapid-fire fashion, mixed in with his workouts, whether in the weight room or on the field. He even offered a two-finger salute to his "critics." Check it out: Samuel has always played with a chip on his shoulder. When he was traded in March, that chip grew. He's also playing in the final year of his contract, so he has much to prove. He's seen all of the nasty comments mocking him — mostly from Eagles fans — and he's out to prove the Commanders were correct in trading for him. While it's early, Samuel has looked terrific in training camp. The Commanders believe they're getting the best of a motivated Samuel in 2025. Washington fans hope he saves some of that anger for the two Philadelphia meetings late in the season.
