Anupamaa: Anupama's secret talent shines as she joins dance competition

Time of India4 days ago
In the latest episode of Anupamaa, emotions ran high as Anupama reflected on her journey while gently holding her ghungroos. Manohar, visibly moved by her performance, gave her his blessing.
When Anupama encouraged him to rest, he instead asked why she had kept her talent hidden for so long. Rita and Sarita echoed the same question, curious about why she never danced publicly before. Though Anupama remained silent, Manohar respected her decision not to speak and added that if not for his injured ankle, they might have never witnessed her gift. He even called her a better dancer than himself—something Anupama humbly disagreed with.
Still, Manohar insisted that she must never again ignore the gift God had given her.
Sarita praised Anupama's many abilities, while Jaspreet lightened the mood by teasing Anupama about what other surprises she might be hiding. She even joked about whether Anupama ever got into fights, prompting Bharti to gently caution her not to get carried away. Manohar then shifted the focus back to rehearsals, asking the women to continue their preparations.

Meanwhile, Anil updated Khyati on the upcoming showroom launch. When Vasundhara questioned him, he clarified that the new space was being set up for Mahi. Khyati explained that Mahi had little responsibility in the current office since Anil, Prem, and Gautam were handling most tasks. Gautam asked whether Mahi would now be managing both offices, and Mahi replied that she already felt overworked due to Prem's absence.
Vasundhara grew upset on hearing this and questioned why Mahi was doing Prem's share of the work. Mahi revealed that Prem had been busy helping Rahi with her dance training. This visibly unsettled Vasundhara, who blamed Anupama for disturbing their family balance. Rahi overheard her grandmother's words and became emotional. Prem noticed her distress and gently comforted her.
Elsewhere, Paritosh was seen collecting antique items with the intent of selling them.
When Ishani confronted him, he dismissed her concerns, claiming it was just 'trash collection.' Leela, worried he might sell her cherished swing, decided to lock it away. Unfazed, Paritosh quietly began planning how to sell it without anyone noticing.
Back at the house, Anupama reflected on her emotional journey and the strength she had drawn from those around her. She fondly remembered Yashdeep, Beeji, and Manohar.
Looking at Anuj's photograph, she confided in him through whispered words, admitting how deeply she missed both him and Rahi.
Later, Prem discovered Rahi asleep, her small fists clenched. In her sleep, she murmured that no daughter truly hates her mother, even if Anupama had made a painful mistake. Prem silently wished for reconciliation between mother and daughter.
Jaspreet soon approached Anupama with exciting news about a potential opportunity in London.
Anupama offered a sincere prayer for her success. Encouraged, Jaspreet decided to apply for the 'Dancing Rani' competition. Anupama also began collecting details from her teammates—Sarita, Rita, Deepa, and Anita—for their group entry.
Bharti checked in with Jaspreet to confirm her commitment, and Jaspreet assured her she was all in. Later, Anupama looked up at the sky and silently prayed for everyone's dreams to come true.
Elsewhere, Paritosh was caught counting money by Kinjal. When questioned, he admitted he planned to become an antique dealer. He later spoke to Pakhi about her rehearsals. Pakhi told him things were going well and mentioned that Ishani had narrowly avoided a trap set by the Kotharis. She added that both Rahi and Pari were being targeted because of Anupama. Paritosh, hearing about the prize money involved in the competition, perked up and claimed he could dance too.
He questioned why Pakhi was participating despite already being wealthy. Pakhi replied that Rahi wanted to earn recognition on her own merit.
As the episode came to a close, Anupama and her team successfully completed the registration process for the dance competition. They were informed about a strict rule: if even one team member quit, the entire group would be disqualified. Jaspreet was visibly thrilled, while Anupama affirmed their goal—to earn a name for themselves. Jaspreet asked if Anupama was confident that Anita, Rita, and Sarita would stay committed.
Anupama simply hoped everything would go smoothly.
