OnePlus 13T made its debut in China last week, making it the latest compact flagship to enter the market this year. The 13T model has generated a lot of interest among readers, however, there is some disappointing news from OnePlus about this product. The company has confirmed that OnePlus 13T will not be available in markets like North America, and most likely in Europe as well.
According to a report by The Verge, OnePlus was quoted sharing the details. The brand has said that OnePlus 13T will not be available for sale in Europe, the United States, or Canada.
Celina Shi, OnePlus Europe's chief marketing officer, told The Verge in an email, 'Currently, we have no plans to launch the OnePlus 13s in Europe. That being said, we have noted the interest in the product from our European users, and we will keep it in mind as we make product launch decisions going forward."
OnePlus clearly sees more value in launching the OnePlus 13T in its important markets like India, where the product is getting rebranded as OnePlus 13s. To be fair, this rebranding sparked hopes for a potential US release, but OnePlus has been quick to douse the fire of excitement among its fans in America.
OnePlus has taken a measured approach with launches this year. The brand confirmed that the OnePlus Open foldable will not be getting a sequel in 2025, and it does not plan to launch the OnePlus Watch 3 model in India.
OnePlus 13T Price And Features
OnePlus 13T is priced at CNY 3,399 (Rs 39,000 approx) for the base variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in China.
The phone gets a compact 6.32-inch AMOLED LTPO display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2,400 nits, and Dolby Vision support. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The 13T features a dual rear camera system, comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens. In China, the phone runs on Android 15-based ColorOS and includes a new iPhone 16-like Quick Key action button for added convenience. Even for a compact phone, you get a 6,260 mAh battery that supports 80W charging.

New BMW CE 04 electric scooter to debut on July 3. Will it come to India?
BMW Motorrad is gearing up to take the wraps off the new CE 04. The BMW CE 04, which is a premium electric scooter sold as an urban EV worldwide, is also available in India since its launch here in July last year. Now, the German premium two-wheeler manufacturer is ready to bring an updated iteration of the EV into the market. While initially it will be launched in the international market, the India launch is expected to take place sometime late next year. The current BMW CE 04 is available in the Indian market at ₹ 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect the upcoming model to be priced a bit higher than that once it is launched in the country. BMW Motorrad has already teased the new CE 04 electric scooter. The teaser image reveals that it will come with a new paint scheme. However, the teaser image doesn't reveal any further design details of the new CE 04. Expect the new BMW CE 04 electric scooter to come incorporating a plethora of design updates. It would come with a sharper and more aggressive visual appearance compared to the model that is currently on sale. Besides that, it would receive some updated features and equipment. The current model gets a 10.25-inch TFT display at the instrument cluster. Powering the premium electric scooter is an 8.5 kWh battery pack, paired with an electric motor that is capable of churning out 41 bhp peak power and 61 Nm of maximum torque. BMW Motorrad claims the EV is capable of accelerating to 50 kmph from a standstill position in just 2.6 seconds, and it can run at a top speed of 120 kmph. The current BMW CE 04 is claimed to be capable of running up to 130 kilometres on a full charge. Expect the updated CE 04 to come commanding a slightly improved range, while the battery charging time would be improved as well. The scooter buyers can opt for a fast charger that tops up the battery in an hour and forty minutes.

Third-year student refuses US job offer as it needs him to keep his camera on, ‘Am I gonna regret this?'
A third-year student from a tier-3 college shared on Reddit that he had rejected a US-based full-stack developer internship offer. Though the company increased his stipend from ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 35-40,000 and promised a ₹ 12 LPA+ full-time role later, they required him to work in US hours with his camera on throughout work hours. The student was uncomfortable with this condition and tried to negotiate. However, the company didn't agree. So, he declined the offer. The candidate, skilled in web development, says he has done internships at two Indian startups. He has also won hackathons and has other internship offers, even though none guarantee a full-time job. He's now unsure if he made the right decision Now, some friends and seniors are saying he may regret it as such offers are rare for someone from his background. 'But after asking everyone, now some friends and seniors are saying you should accept the offer as I came from tier 3 clg and getting such kind of offers is difficult for me. Did I make right choice? Or am I gonna regret this?' he asked. The student remains open to better work opportunities and is actively looking for guidance. 'They are going to make your life a living nightmare as time goes on. If they are trying to micromanage your work by keeping the camera on, it is just going to get worse. You're still a student and still 1 year before grad,' wrote one Reddit user. 'I think you've done the right thing. This camera part is really weird,' wrote another. One user commented, 'It's a choice. Some Indian companies have started doing this weirdly, which is just a power trip for the idiot 'manager'. If you have options, don't join them. If not, join them, make your money, and leave them as soon as you can. They are not for long-term employment.'
