Upload Season 4: Everything you need to know about the final season
Alright, Upload fans, let's talk about the big one: Season 4, the final chapter of Greg Daniels' sci-fi comedy gem on Amazon Prime Video. That Season 3 cliffhanger left us all screaming at our screens, and now we're itching for answers. From when it might drop to who's coming back and what's next for Nathan, here's everything we know about Upload Season 4. When Will Upload Season 4 Premiere?
No exact premiere date yet, but we can piece together a rough timeline. Robbie Amell, who plays Nathan, posted on Instagram in October 2024: 'Wrapped Season 4 of Upload—our final chapter! Can't wait for you guys to see it.' Since Upload relies on hefty visual effects, post-production takes time. Season 3 filmed in early 2023 and hit screens in October 2023, about an 11-month turnaround. Following that pattern, Season 4 could land between June and November 2025. Some fans are hoping for a spring 2025 release, but summer or fall feels more likely. Who's in the Cast of Upload Season 4?
Expect the main crew to return, bringing their A-game to close out the series. While Amazon hasn't dropped an official cast list, here's who we're likely to see based on Season 3's setup: Robbie Amell as Nathan Brown
Andy Allo as Nora Antony
Allegra Edwards as Ingrid Kannerman
Zainab Johnson as Aleesha Morrison-Downey
Kevin Bigley as Luke Crossley
Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy
Josh Banday as Ivan Spelich
Andrea Rosen as Lucy Slack
William B. Davis as David Choak
Barclay Hope as Oliver Kannerman What Will the Plot of Upload Season 4 Be About?
Season 3 ended with a gut-punch: one Nathan—either the real one chilling with Nora or the Lakeview copy engaged to Ingrid—got erased. We don't know which! That's the big mystery driving Season 4. Here's what we think we'll see: The Nathan Puzzle : Figuring out which Nathan survived is priority one. Real Nathan was working with Nora to expose Horizon's election-rigging upload scheme, while backup Nathan was all in with Ingrid. Andy Allo teased to ScreenRant that the finale's 'gonna blow your mind,' so maybe there's a twist—like a way to reboot the deleted Nathan?
Horizon's Takedown : Nora and Nathan were gearing up a lawsuit against Horizon (rebranded as Betta) for their sketchy moves, like boosting uploads to sway votes. Season 4's probably where they bring the hammer down, especially with Ingrid flipping sides last season.
Love Triangle (or Quadrangle?) : Nathan, Nora, Ingrid, and backup Nathan are a messy web. Will Nathan and Nora get their fairy-tale ending, or will Ingrid's obsession throw a wrench in it? Also, can we get a win for Luke and Aleesha's slow-burn romance?
Tech Gone Wild: Upload loves poking fun at tech's dark side. Expect more on whether uploads are people or just code, plus some growth for A.I. Guy. Daniels told Collider he pulls from real tech trends, so we might see some fresh, weird takes on AI and virtual reality.
