Kieran Trippier's estranged wife Charlotte breaks her silence on split amid his rumoured romance with Chloe Ferry - as she's supported by fellow ex WAG Billie Mucklow
Kieran Tripper's estranged wife Charlotte has broken her silence on their split and confirmed it was her decision to end the marriage before offering support to others who had 'been through what she had '.
Earlier this week, following months of speculation, the footballer, 34, confirmed they'd been separated for a year, after he was spotted partying with newly-single reality star Chloe Ferry, 29.
Taking to her Instagram Charlotte, 36, who shares a son and two daughters with Kieran, reassured fans she was 'fine' - and found support in the comments from fellow ex WAG Billie Mucklow, who split from Andy Carroll in September 2024.
After thanking followers for their messages of support, Charlotte, who wed the footballer in 2016, said: 'I just wanted to let you know that I am fine, obviously I am not ready to talk about my situation.
'In time I will, when I am comfortable and the time is right, also I have three young children so I don't want to be putting things out there for them to see. But yeah i just wanted to let everyone know its not that bad and you can get through it once you make the decision,'
She went on: 'You can get through it. The sparkle does come back, I feel likeI am getting my glow back again and yeah, like, you will get there'.
Taking to the comments Billie wrote: 'Keep sparkling beautiful' to which Charlotte replied: 'right back at you! We've got this girly! Sending love'.
On Wednesday Kieran took to Instagram with a statement, just days after it was claimed Charlotte, who wed the footballer in 2016, was consulting divorce lawyers.
He penned: 'I have never commented on my private life but the tabloids seem to want to continue writing false narratives,'
'I feel I have no choice but to confirm publicly that myself and Charlotte separated over a year ago. I have not commented previously as it is a private matter and we want to protect to our children.'
Sources say that they were keen to keep their split a secret so their kids would not have to deal with any upset. However, it has been reported that Charlotte has a new property where she lives without Keiran.
Kieran was spotted partying with Geordie Shore star Chloe and her pals including Love Island star Jess Harding at Ushuaia club on the White Isle.
In pictures obtained by the Sun, Kieran had his arm around Chloe and the pair were said to be 'very tactile' with each other.
The insider told the publication: 'Chloe and her friends were introduced to Kieran and his mates and they partied together.
She found support in the comments from fellow ex WAG Billie Mucklow, who split from Andy Carroll in September 2024.
'Kieran was very tactile and put his arm around her when they were together at the club. Chloe is newly single and she was just having some fun.
'They were together in the day and later on in the evening Chloe was with Kieran and their group of mates.'
The new reports of his socialising suggest he partied with two blonde women on separate nights - one in Newcastle, before meeting Chloe in Ibiza.
Charlotte thanked online someone who sent a video of her husband leaving a Newcastle nightclub on May 11 with one of the unnamed woman.
The mother of two wrote: 'Love a girls' girl. Thanks babe.'
Now she is pondering potential legal action over their union, the Sun reported.
A source was quoted as saying: 'Charlotte has taken legal advice over her marriage.
'She has got a new house, is settled, is moving on and wants to sort it amicably and be quite mature. She feels happier away from him.'
That same source also described Kieran as 'devastated' by developments.
They added: 'He has been desperately trying to get back with her but she's over him.'
Meanwhile ex-Liverpool striker Andy, 36, and his former TOWIE star ex Billi, 37, were together for 11 years but confirmed their split last September after secretly separating earlier in the year.
In 2022, Andy's wedding to Billi was almost called off when he was pictured drunkenly passed out in bed with two women in Dubai on his stag do.
After the picture emerged, it was claimed that Kieran's estranged wife began consulting lawyers about their marriage
Weeks after their split, Andy and celebrity hairstylist Lou Teasdale, 42, revealed their relationship and now he is reportedly set on tying the knot with her.
Andy and Lou have been holidaying together in Ibiza and sharing several loved-up snaps from the trip.
But tensions between exes Andy and Billi are reportedly set to explode over his sun-soaked holiday with his new girlfriend.
According to The Sun, it did not go down well with Billi's closest friends, who are furious with how her ex is behaving while she is at home with their children.
A source said: 'Everyone thinks Andy is acting like an utter p***k and is making himself look like a total fool posting so many sexy shots with Lou - who he moved on with alarmingly quickly after separating from the mother of his kids.
'While he is off gallivanting around the party island, posting all these snaps that scream 'we are having hot sex!', Billi is at home looking after not only their children, but his two kids from a previous relationship with ex-fiancee Faye Johnstone.
'It's a silent gut-punch to Billie, who is an angel and adores the kids - looking after them and protecting them from this circus is her number one priority.'
Andy and Billi have three children together - Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae and she also raises his children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship.

Mary Earps: I was villainised over my England retirement
Mary Earps believes she was 'villainised' after her shocking retirement from international football provoked widespread criticism. In her first public comments since ending her decorated England career 37 days before Euro 2025, the goalkeeper discussed the hostile reaction to her decision and said she still plans to go to the tournament as a spectator. Earps, 32, was accused of being selfish when she retired after losing the England No1 spot to Hannah Hampton. Her exit left Hampton as the only capped goalkeeper in the squad and means the 24-year-old will not be able to lean on Earps's experience at the Euros. Yet Earps feels she was portrayed harshly and detailed the impact of the scrutiny on her loved ones. 'I think I was villainised in a way,' Earps said on the Happy Place podcast with Fearne Cotton. 'It was a bit hard to see and read things. 'It's more what my friends and family see and then the way they interact with me. I'm like, 'Oh, I know you've seen something', and I'm upset for them because I'm like, 'You didn't choose this. You've now got to deal with this.' I'm then gutted for them and I don't really want to know what's being said, but it's coming out in comments. I feel like that's hard.' Earps's revelation was very surprising given its proximity to the Euros, but she insisted it was the correct call and one she had been considering for a while. 'I feel like it was the right decision,' she said. 'I don't want it to be painful watching them [her friends and family]. I felt almost a bit of relief because it had been so long coming. Mentally and physically, I was just like, 'Right, I've given everything here.' ' The criticism of Earps was intense partly because of her huge profile. She has been crucial to England's success under Sarina Wiegman, starting every game as they won Euro 2022 and starring in the run to the 2023 World Cup final. Off the pitch, she famously pressured Nike into selling her England jersey in 2023 and has generated a strong following through her demonstrative, extroverted demeanour. Winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year awards in 2023 reflected her immense achievements and fame. When Earps informed the England team of her decision at St George's Park on May 26, it is thought that some players and Wiegman, the head coach, reacted negatively. However, all squad members who have addressed the matter publicly expressed support and sympathy for Earps, while Wiegman said she was 'disappointed and sad' rather than angry. Indeed, Earps heaped praise on her former team-mates' response to the news and hopes to be in Switzerland for England's Euros title defence. 'I'm hoping to get out there and watch a few games depending on pre-season and where I'm going to be,' Earps, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, said. 'The time of the announcement was difficult and painful, but some people were amazing and that the girls had my back meant the absolute world to me. They really didn't need to do that. 'I was able to tell the girls in person. They were so supportive and said goodbye. These are girls that I grew up with, have spent so much time with, and have so many amazing memories with. It was sad, but I think it's the right thing and I'm really looking forward to supporting them this summer.'
