Leostream Wins RemoteTech Breakthrough Award For 'Remote Work Security Innovation of the Year'
The Leostream Privileged Remote Access Service provides secure remote connectivity for third-party users in corporate environments. The SaaS solution delivers a modern, zero-trust solution that enables organizations to collaborate with external contractors, vendors, and freelancers while maintaining uncompromising security standards.
Leostream's finely-tuned, role-based gateway empowers IT teams to grant just-in-time access to only the resources needed and nothing more. The service operates across all major operating systems and devices without requiring additional endpoint software or installed agents on corporate resources. Cross-platform compatibility ensures seamless access from any OS, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and ChromeOS, with no client-side installs.
The solution's VPN-less Architecture allows for a streamlined connection gateway that eliminates VPN-related performance bottlenecks and security risks. Leostream also offers role-based policies that govern access by user type, time, and workload, ensuring strict least-privilege enforcement with identity-based access control. Built-in session monitoring and comprehensive reporting for real-time visibility and compliance assurance are simplified via session recording and auditing.
'With over 20 years of leadership in remote desktop connection management, our new offering extends our platform to the most vulnerable access points: third-party users. The Leostream Privileged Remote Access service embodies our commitment to productivity without compromise, and we're grateful to RemoteTech Breakthrough for recognizing this,' said Karen Gondoly, Leostream CEO. 'Granting third-party access is no longer optional, but instead of clunky VPNs or overly permissive access rights, our solution safeguards sensitive environments and credentials, offering customers the power to control remote access, and ensuring third parties get what they need.'
The Leostream Privileged Remote Access service is a valuable tool across industries like healthcare, government, and media, where data sensitivity and working with contractors are non-negotiables.
The mission of the annual RemoteTech Breakthrough Awards program is to conduct the industry's most comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the world's most innovative companies, solutions and products in the remote technology industry today. This year's program attracted thousands of nominations from over 15 different countries throughout the world.
'Leostream Privileged Remote Access Service solves the third-party access problem. There's been a rising demand for secure third-party access to an organization's infrastructure to perform outsourced assignments, collaborate with internal employees, or for IT-related issues. However, securing data, applications and infrastructure, while also ensuring productivity and a consistent experience, has emerged as a challenge,' said Bryan Vaughn, Managing Director of RemoteTech Breakthrough Awards. 'The Leostream Privileged Remote Access service represents the next generation of secure remote access. This service not only enables external collaboration without compromising internal integrity but also accelerates vendor onboarding and simplifies IT. We're pleased to recognize Leostream with 'Remote Work Security Innovation of the Year!''
