'I did some research and started my boxer on Pure, which he has been on for about two months now,' explained a second customer. 'It doesn't cost me anymore than wet tray food but is much better quality - his stomach has improved lots and his coat is nicer than its ever been - so soft, smooth and shiny!'.
'My dog is in love with Pure Pet Food - I've never seen him lick the bowl clean everytime like he does with Pure,' added a third customer. 'His fur-skin and health have improved so much in a short space of time. I've highly recommended to other dog owners - that's how impressed I am!'.

Teenage boy who was maimed in Gaza becomes the first to be treated for war injuries in the UK
A boy of 15 maimed in Gaza became the first to receive treatment for war injuries in London as Donald Trump 's envoy touched down in the devastated territory yesterday. Majd Alshaghnobi suffered severe facial injuries and a shattered leg while searching for food with two friends last year. He was brought to the UK by Project Pure Hope, a charity set up by senior healthcare workers who have also treated children from Ukraine and Israel. Meanwhile, Donald Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, along with the US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, made a rare trip into Gaza to visit an aid station and devise a plan to get aid into the strip. Mr Witkoff tweeted: 'We spent over five hours inside Gaza. The purpose of the visit was to give the President a clear understanding of the humanitarian situation and help craft a plan to deliver food and medical aid to the people of Gaza.' On Thursday, Mr Trump said he did not believe Israel's denials of famine in Gaza, saying there was 'real starvation' happening. 'We want to get people fed,' he said. 'It is something that should have happened a long time ago.' The UN says that more than 1,300 people queuing for aid at centres run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which is backed by Israel, have been killed since late May. Rights group have condemned the centres as a 'death trap'. He said Israeli soldiers had opened fire on him and his friends, killing one and seriously injuring the other two, as they waited for aid. His medical team, all working for free, will include craniofacial, plastic and orthodontic surgeons. Hospital bills will be covered by private donations. Lead surgeon Professor Noor ul Owase Jeelani, of London's Great Ormond Street Hospital, said Majd's arrival comes after months of wrangling over a temporary visa. 'If we are able to give him a face and a jaw, it won't be completely normal, but hopefully he will be able to feed himself and speak, and his facial expressions will be better,' he said. 'Hopefully that will make a big impact on how he lives and on his future. 'Our hope is that we will be able to help many more children like him in the coming months. It's our collective moral responsibility. I don't quite understand why it's taken us over 20 months to get to this stage.' Majd's arrival comes a week after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said he was planning to evacuate badly injured children from Gaza. Dozens of MPs have called on him to establish a Ukraine-style visa to allow Gazans to enter Britain for medical treatment Majd's arrival comes a week after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said he was planning to evacuate badly injured children from Gaza. Omar Din, an NHS healthcare executive and co-founder of Project Pure Hope, said: 'Every day of delay risks the lives and futures of children who deserve a chance to live, to recover and to rebuild a life.' Tesco recalls popular beauty and skincare product over nasty infection risk
The item could contain bacterium linked to respiratory diseases, urinary tract infections, eye infections, and even sepsis Supermarkets are fast becoming front-runners when it comes to beauty and skincare. Scots who previously went to drugstores and make-up countries for their facial bits may now be picking up dupes on their weekly food shop. However, one product from a major retailer is being whipped from shelves after being found to pose a potential infection risk, with bacterium linked to respiratory diseases, urinary tract infections, eye infections, and even sepsis. Tesco is recalling various Tesco Kind & Pure Facial Cleansing Wipes due to unsatisfactory microbiological testing and detecting the presence of a bacterium, Pluralibacter gergoviae, making products potentially unsafe for use. The item was swiped on Tuesday, July 29 as a "precautionary measure". The bacterium is "becoming a real concern in the cosmetics and personal care industry," according to Melbec Microbiology, one of Britain's leading UKAS accredited testing laboratories, "due to its resistance to many common preservatives and its potential to cause infections, particularly in immunocompromised individuals". Products affected Tesco Kind & Pure 25 Facial Cleansing Wipes 163g Affected batch codes: 5128723, 5129723, 5130723, 5123723, 5144723, 5145723, 5146723, 5163723, 5164723, 5168723, 5169723, 5188723, 5176715, 5177715 Tesco Kind & Pure Radiant Facial Cleansing Wipes Vitamin C 25 Pack 159g Affected batch codes: 5187723, 5186723, 5188723, 5154715, 5155715, 5156715 Melbec Micriology's website states: "Although infections in healthy individuals are rare, P. gergoviae can cause severe infections in people with weakened immune systems, chronic illnesses, or those undergoing surgery. The bacterium has been linked to respiratory diseases, urinary tract infections, eye infections, and sepsis." The contamination of cosmetic products with P. gergoviae has led to several product recalls in Europe. Cosmetic products should really be entirely free from this bacterium, the lab added. Thankfully, no other Tesco products are affected by this recall. If you have purchased an affected product, Tesco are urging you not to use it. Instead, customers can return it in-store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required. For more information, visit Tesco's contact page. Alternatively, you can also contact Tesco Customer Services on 0800 505 555. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Elsewhere, Waitrose shoppers are being urged to look through their shopping and check the dates on any Waitrose and Partners Egg and Spinach Protein Pots they have recently purchased after a separate recall was issued. The supermarket has released an important safety warning for anyone who has bought the protein pot with the use by dates of July 31 and August 1. This is due to the potential presence of Salmonella, which could cause shoppers to become ill if they consume the product. If shoppers have bought the 90g Egg and Spinach Protein Pot with the mentioned dates, they are being urged to not consume the product, package up the item and return the product to their local Waitrose branch for a a refund.
