DAMANHOUR, Egypt, June 14 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Saturday inspected Rizq Darwish Primary School in Zawyet Saqr village, Beheira governorate, and got first hand information about the school's academic and extracurricular programs.
During the tour, Youssef el Deeb, the undersecretary of Beheira Education Directorate, said that the school - which was named in honor of a martyr of the 1973 October War - includes 32 classrooms; 15 operating in the morning and 17 in the evening, to serve 1,443 students from grades one to six.
A student briefed Madbouli on the summer program organized by the school, which aims to provide students with diverse learning and creative experiences.
During his visit, the premier engaged in conversation with students, about their interests and how they benefit from the activities.
The students emphasized the importance of the summer programs in developing their talents, expanding their skills, and building confidence.
The Prime Minister praised the school's efforts and stressed the importance of investing in extracurricular education to build characters capable of contributing meaningfully to the society. (MENA)

It added that voter rolls have been updated in coordination with government agencies, and deceased voters have been removed. Polling stations across the country have been inspected to ensure accessibility and safety, it noted. CAIRO, June 27 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stressed the urgent need to restore the ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the unhindered flow of humanitarian aid, as living conditions in the besieged Palestinian enclave continue to deteriorate. Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Tamim Khallaf, said that during a phone call on Thursday, the two ministers discussed recent developments in Gaza, following the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel. During the telephone conversation, they addressed key regional developments and explored avenues to further strengthen ties between Egypt and France. Abdelatty highlighted the genuine efforts spearheaded by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States to swiftly secure a lasting ceasefire in Gaza, underscoring the critical role of the international community in halting Israeli aggression in both Gaza and the West Bank. The ministers also addressed the issue of Palestinian state recognition, Barrot updated his Egyptian counterpart on preparations for the upcoming high-level international conference, co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, which aims to promote a peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the implementation of the two-state solution. Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's firm commitment to a just and sustainable solution, grounded in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with Al Quds (occupied East Jerusalem) as its capital. The spokesperson added that the two ministers concurred on the necessity for both Iran and Israel to fully comply with the ceasefire, stressing the importance of concrete de-escalation measures to pave the way for renewed political and diplomatic initiatives. CAIRO, June 28 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives to the government to increase the value of compensations granted to the victims of the Ashmoun road accident in Menoufia governorate, allocating additional EGP 100,000 for each fatality and EGP 25,000 for each injured person, alongside the compensations already approved by the ministries of labor and social solidarity. Sisi also instructed the government to intensify efforts to maintain and repair roads, with a specific focus on the Regional Ring Road. He asserted the urgent need to complete ongoing repairs, ensure clear warning signs in areas under maintenance, and make route alterations visibly marked to prevent accidents.
