In September, Twenty One Pilots will release a new album titled Breach. The duo has already started promoting the forthcoming collection with the lead single, "The Contract," which arrived a short time ago. That track debuted on a handful of Billboard rankings last week and has now arrived on several others.
This time around, all the excitement surrounding a new era beginning has inspired Twenty One Pilots' fans to return to the group's back catalog. All their collective buying and, especially, streaming activity has turned the band's breakout album into a hit again.
Blurryface Returns to Two Charts
Blurryface, the project that helped Twenty One Pilots become a household name in America, returns to a pair of Billboard tallies this frame. Reappearing in the lowest reaches of two lists, Blurryface lands at No. 49 on the 50-spot Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. At the same time, it reenters the Billboard 200 at No. 195, with a little more than 8,600 equivalent units shifted (per Luminate).
Blurryface Has Already Reached No. 1
Blurryface has spent more than 300 weeks on both of those rankings. It also previously reached No. 1 on both of them. Just last month, Blurryface turned 10 years old, as it was released in May 2015. Longtime fans of the group have been honoring the title ever since, and this week, the circumstances were right for the effort to return.
"The Contract" Debuts and Rises
As Blurryface reappears, "The Contract" debuts on four charts. It opens on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., as well as the Hot Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs tallies. On the latter, Twenty One Pilots narrowly miss securing another top 10 hit by just a few spaces. In the coming weeks, "The Contract" could easily climb several positions and crack the uppermost region on the pair of rosters.
At the same time that "The Contract" debuts on some rankings, it also ascends to new high points on several others where it got an early start last week. The single rises from No. 40 to No. 16 on the Alternative Airplay list. It manages a similar showing on the Rock & Alternative Airplay tally, jumping from No. 38 to No. 18.

Patrick Mahomes' Golf Outing Trending for the Wrong Reasons

Patrick Mahomes' Golf Outing Trending for the Wrong Reasons originally appeared on Athlon Sports. At a celebrity golf tournament, Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes found himself in hot water, not because of a missed putt, but over an autograph fumble. Advertisement As Mahomes was preparing to swing, a young fan politely asked, 'Mr. Mahomes, will you sign my jersey when you're done?' The quarterback paused and firmly replied, 'Can't sign for everyone … can't make everybody happy,' citing tournament pace‑of‑play rules. That's when the fan's father stepped in, audibly upset. 'Yeah, you can. … You can just make one kid happy out of a hundred,' he urged. Mahomes didn't back down: 'I'll make 99 sad,' he responded. The clip, originally from the 2023 American Century Championship and resurfacing in late June, quickly went viral. Most of his fans came out in support of him. He does thousands of autographs. Let him have a round of golf in peace," one wrote. Advertisement "Not the right time to ask, he's lining up a shot. Ask after he hits it. Stupid to expect him to stop and do it," another commented. "As much as I don't like Patrick, it's his free time. Let him enjoy it, he doesn't have to sign anything for anyone......" a fan wrote. "Pats right though it's not fair to the other kids watching. And also you never ask for autographs during an event. Wait till it's over," one said. "What kind of parent would allow his kid to try and get an autograph while a player is engaged in a game? This is what kids are learning today that it's OK to interrupt an athlete anytime anyplace? Wow," another posted. Advertisement "I think Mahomes is fine by refusing to sign. He's permitted to enjoy an outing without be asked for autograph. If he signs one for the kid, 49 adults will be next. Time n place," one fan expressed. Jeremy Renner Just Told Us the High-Protein Breakfast He Eats Every Day on Set (Exclusive)

Jeremy Renner eats an egg white omelet with veggies and meat every morning while working on set. Renner wears super-cushioned sneakers to protect his joints and help him stay active during recovery. He focuses on stretching, eating healthy foods and mental health to keep healing after his Renner is known for his roles in action movie franchises, from The Avengers to Mission: Impossible, but in recent years the actor has been focused on his recovery following a near-fatal accident in January 2023, which he details in his new book, My Next Breath. We got a chance to chat with Renner about the foods, exercises and other habits that have been instrumental in getting his strength back through his partnership with Brooks Running. As far as what he eats, Renner is following a balanced eating pattern and prioritizing protein—often in liquid form as it's difficult for him to chew following his accident. He eats about 170 grams of protein each day in an effort to hold onto muscle. 'It's harder to build muscle as you [get] older,' he says. Breakfast is typically a bigger meal for Renner, and egg white omelets are his go-to. 'That's what I eat every morning when I'm on set,' he says. 'They give me an egg white omelet, usually with some veggies, onions and some meat. Then I have a snack and a medium-sized lunch and that's it, and a bunch of protein throughout the day, protein shakes and things.' Renner first became acquainted with Books Running after receiving a pair of Ghost Max sneakers, which he started wearing at the beginning of his recovery journey. 'The cushioning really helped me,' he says. 'They might be running shoes, but I used them more as house slippers initially because they were so great on my joints, [particularly] on the tile floors in the house I was recovering in.' When he first started trying to run in the shoes, Renner notes that it was 'really special' and 'quite an emotional moment,' as being able to run again after his accident wasn't a given. These days, Renner is all about mobility, flexibility and strengthening. '[There's] still quite a bit of scar tissue and damage that I have to work through all the time,' he says. 'And stretching is pretty paramount to staying healthy and moving because my body just wants to lock up. So I have to move it or I lose it; I move and stretch as much as I can.' He does a mix of active stretching—'very intentional, purposeful movements'—and trigger point therapy. Like many of us, Renner sometimes struggles with being motivated to go to the gym. 'I think going to the gym every day is a great challenge,' Renner says. 'It is one of the most difficult things to do, but you have to stop thinking about it. You just gotta do it.' Rather than waiting around for motivation, he recommends making it part of your routine and turning it into a habit. Figure out what works for you, whether it's gamifying it or changing your mindset. Beyond movement, Renner emphasizes a holistic approach to health and wellness. 'I work a lot on mental health and mental strength, being outside in nature and getting some vitamin D on my body,' he says. 'Get some sunshine, get joy, right? These things are much more helpful than any [workout] class for me.' We look forward to seeing Renner's return to the screen as Dr. Nat Sharp in the forthcoming Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. Editor's Note: This interview was edited for clarity and length.
