'These attacks are clearly designed to cripple Yemen's economic lifelines,' said a regional analyst familiar with the situation. 'The port is essential for delivering humanitarian aid to a population already suffering from years of war.'
Israeli media confirmed that approximately 30 Israeli warplanes participated in the extensive operation, dropping around 50 missiles on ten strategic targets including the port and adjacent international airport. During the operation.

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan 11) reported that the attack involved a joint Israeli-American operation, with 'Israel' attacking sites in Hodeidah, while the United States attacked other sites.
In contrast, a senior Israeli official said that 'the attack was carried out by Israel alone, in coordination with the United States, and targeted sites in the port of Hodeidah and a large factory used by the Houthis.'
The Israeli aggression action comes amid Yemen's continued support for Palestinians and follows months of escalating regional hostilities. Human rights organizations have expressed concern about the impact on civilians, as the targeted facilities are crucial for Yemen's fragile economy and humanitarian operations.

Three killed in Israeli strikes on south Lebanon
Three killed in Israeli strikes on south Lebanon The Health Ministry said three people were killed in Israeli strikes in the south on Saturday despite a ceasefire, as the Israeli military said one of them targeted a Hezbollah militant. "The Israeli enemy drone strike that targeted a vehicle" in Tyre district "killed one person," a ministry statement said. The Israeli military said that it "struck and eliminated" a Hezbollah commander who was "involved in efforts to rehabilitate the ... organization in the area of Bint Jbeil," near the border. It did not specify where the strike took place. The Lebanese health ministry later reported that another Israeli strike in Tyre district, on the town of Debaal, killed two people. The state-run National News Agency reported that it targeted a house. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to an AFP request for comment about the reported strike in Debaal. Israel has kept up its strikes on Lebanon despite a November ceasefire that sought to end over a year of hostilities with Hezbollah, including two months of all-out war. It has warned it will continue to strike until the Iran-backed militant group has been disarmed. Under the truce, Hezbollah was to withdraw its fighters north of the Litani river, about 30 kilometers (20 miles) from the Israeli border, leaving the Lebanese Army and United Nations peacekeepers as the only armed parties in the region. Israel was to withdraw all its troops from Lebanon but has kept them in five areas it deems strategic.

Israeli army announces death of two soldiers in Khan Younis
Two Israeli soldiers, members of the 51st battalion of the Golani infantry brigade, were killed Saturday in the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said Sunday. They were killed when their armored vehicle exploded, caused by an improvised explosive device detonated by a Palestinian fighter "emerging from a tunnel" in Khan Younis (south), according to military correspondents from several Israeli media outlets. The previous day, a 32-year-old soldier from the 749th engineering battalion, who was wounded by an explosive device last week in Khan Younis, also died, according to the same source. "The State of Israel has lost three young heroes, some of its best sons, who worked for the security of the state and for the return of all our hostages," said Defense Minister Israel Katz on X. According to the Israeli army, 462 of its soldiers have been killed during the ground military offensive against the Gaza Strip launched on Oct. 27, 2023.
