The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot to extremely hot, humid weather will prevail across the country during Saturday's daylight hours.
The weather will seem hotter due to the high humidity levels, which will push up the heat index 2-3 degrees.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, North Coast, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 36°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 40°C in Sohag, 41°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.

Humidity reaches its highest levels, as very hot weather grips Egypt on Sunday
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects Saturday's weather to be hot and humid to very hot during the day across most parts of the country, with moderately hot temperatures at night and the early morning. The authority warned of high humidity, with the highest recorded levels reaching 97 percent on the north coast, causing temperatures to feel hotter by two to three degrees Celsius. Active, intermittent winds are expected until Tuesday in the north of the country, including northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai.
