The relationship between the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James has been a tad rocky this offseason, as the organization has made it clear they plan to build for the future more so than a title run next season. With the rumor mill buzzing, James went viral on Friday after making an appearance at the Cleveland Cavaliers' practice facility.

It's unclear whether or not it was just a 4th of July visit back to his hometown, or if it's a sign of what's to come. Either way, LeBron James went viral after posting a photo of himself alongside Denver Jones, a Summer League rookie for the Cavs.
The photo caused numerous Cavs fans to react on social media. Many are asking questions about why LeBron James decided to make an appearance at the Cavaliers' practice facility while still signed with the Lakers. Meanwhile, others are hoping and praying this means the 40-year-old returns to the team by next season.
'Lebron should declare his independence from the Lakers and come back to Cleveland,' said one fan.

Another user asked, 'Why is LeBron in the Cavs' facility? Plz don't do this to me.'
'No way LeBron gets traded,' said one individual in disbelief.
This person claims, 'I've been saying it for a month now — he's going back to Cleveland.'
'Couldn't make it any more obvious, let's go BELIEVELAND we back,' said another user.
Although plenty of Cavs fans are over the moon and coming up with their own speculations, LeBron James was quick to shut down the excitement. Not long after the photo went viral, the four-time MVP blasted everyone who shared the picture. He made it clear that this is something he does every summer and tells everyone to simply enjoy the Holiday.

'And every summer since it was built. I live here still and train every summer. Got damn yall bored man! Go get a plate of food somewhere and enjoy the 4th of July!'
So, perhaps it was just a picture and nothing more. Despite LeBron James clearing the air, Cavs fans will likely continue to speculate a departure from Los Angeles.

Former Browns QB Johnny Manziel drops NSFW admission on hatred for Cleveland

The post Former Browns QB Johnny Manziel drops NSFW admission on hatred for Cleveland appeared first on ClutchPoints. Johnny Manziel is one of the greatest college football quarterbacks of all time. His NFL career did not pan out, and his time in Cleveland was spent living under the expectations. The former college star quarterback appeared on the Impaulsive Podcast with Logan Paul and discussed his hatred for Cleveland. Funny enough, Paul is from Cleveland. 'I just didn't work on it the way that I needed to, to really take it to that next level. And to be honest, you know … f—k man, I hated Cleveland so much. And I know that's going to be tough to hear.' Paul and his cohosts were stunned by the take in a humorous way, and as they were all laughing, Manziel added, 'That place definitely added to my f—-ing depression along the way for sure.' Manziel only played two seasons for the Browns. He finished with 1,675 passing yards and seven touchdown passes. He also threw seven interceptions and had a total QB rating of just 74.4. His career could have been completely different if drafted elsewhere. Manziel added, 'Anywhere but Cleveland, I guess,' when asked if he could have chosen any other team and city. 'I think originally I was like 'this is an amazing opportunity.' Obviously, I got drafted in the first round, f—ing amazing. It took me a while to kinda be there. Even in the beginning, I went to downtown Cleveland. I'm like, 'Okay, we could work with this here a little.' There was a casino right down the street. I'm like, 'this is doable.' LeBron is coming back, we got the Cavs bumping. And then that like first like real, coming from Texas, then that first like real November f—-ing like brutal f—ing winter was like, 'Oh man what the f—k.'' Manziel last played in 2015, and the Cleveland Browns are still trying to figure out their quarterback situation. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski drops flag football truth bomb

The post Browns coach Kevin Stefanski drops flag football truth bomb appeared first on ClutchPoints. Flag football has surged in popularity since it was confirmed to make its debut in the 2028 Summer Olympics. Since then, opinions on the sport have varied, but Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski firmly supports its growth. With the Ohio High School Athletic Association approving girls' flag football as a varsity sport for the 2025-2026 academic year, Stefanski voiced his approval for the move. The Browns played a big role in the sanctioning of the sport, a process that began in 2022. '[Flag football is] fast, it's really fun, it's safe [and] you get to see their athleticism put on display,' Stefanski said, via ESPN. 'I think it's going to be growing even more because it's so fun to play. This is a great first step. It's more than deserving for these girls to play for their high schools and have it sanctioned as a varsity sport. It's just going to keep growing, especially with the Olympics around the corner.' Stefanski's comments came at the 2025 NFL Flag Championships at Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio. The annual three-day event crowns the national champions in the NFL-run youth leagues and is streamed live on ESPN, NFL Network and Disney Channel. The NFL Flag Championships essentially wrap up Stefanski's summer vacation. The Browns report to training camp beginning on July 25, where their four-man quarterback competition resumes. Cleveland has yet to reveal anything from its compelling offseason battle, with virtually every report suggesting a different claim. Browns, Kevin Stefanski's role in growing flag football popularity As committed as the Browns are to their own organization, they have been just as active in the Ohio community. Following multiple proposals, funding offers and trial leagues, Cleveland finally succeeded in getting flag football Over the last 10 years, football has received progressive criticism for its head injury risk, particularly to young athletes. The game is too popular to ever go away, making flag football a potentially lucrative avenue. With the 2028 Summer Olympics still a few years away, allowing high school athletes to compete in flag football on a competitive level provides more athletes with a potential path. The NFL remains undecided on allowing its players to participate in the Olympics, potentially creating even more opportunities for others. Colin Cowherd pushes Nick Saban – Archie Manning conspiracy theory involving Cleveland Browns

The post Colin Cowherd pushes Nick Saban – Archie Manning conspiracy theory involving Cleveland Browns appeared first on ClutchPoints. Colin Cowherd proposed a Nick Saban-Archie Manning conspiracy theory involving the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland is still in one of its best eras of this century, with head coach Kevin Stefanski at the helm of the franchise. The Browns have made the playoffs in two of the past five seasons, including winning their first postseason game since 1994. Last year's team, however, did struggle, going 3-14 overall, leading some to question Kevin Stefanski's job security. And it's not going to be easy to recover from 2024 in a loaded AFC North division. The quarterback situation for the Browns has dominated the headlines with Deshaun Watson likely out for the season with a torn Achilles. To be honest, the three-time Pro Bowler was largely dismal for Cleveland when he was healthy, but regardless, there is a vacancy at QB1 for this current roster. Four quarterbacks are battling over this starting position: Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders. While there is a chance the long-term solution under center for this franchise is one of those players, Colin Cowherd floated a theory on The Herd that the Browns might have a master plan, should things fall apart in 2025. 'This is the worst kept secret in the South. Haslam, Jimmy, owner of the Browns, huge SEC Tennessee booster, leans heavily on the Manning family. Very close to the Manning family. Yes, that's not make believe. Arch Manning is part of the Manning family. And this is where Nick Saban comes in. Saban is incredibly close to not only Jimmy Haslam, but Saban's close to the Manning family as well. And so Saban, if he could land, I'm told, a top quarterback like Harbaugh going to the Chargers for Herbert, he would take a phone call for the NFL. And there are two teams guaranteed to be awful this year in the NFL. Cleveland and the Saints. Nick Saban has coached in Cleveland with the Browns under the Belichick staff and he coached at LSU. This is not a conspiracy theory.' Arch Manning has yet to have a full season as a starter in college, and it's unclear whether he would declare for the draft after 2025 anyway. Still, even with a lot of the unknown, the former 5-star QB is projected to be a potential top prospect in the 2026 draft. These two moves would certainly shock the world, but wouldn't exactly be beyond the pale for owner Jimmy Haslam. Cowherd's comments, overall, definitely add some extra pressure on Stefanski, who seems to be in dire need of a bounce-back season if he wants to stay with the Browns. Even though Nick Saban's return to the coaching ranks, especially in the NFL, still looks pretty far-fetched.
