One injured following hit and run involving pedestrian in Richibucto, N.B.
Police responded to the report of a person who had been hit by a vehicle on Highway 11 near Exit 42 at around 2 a.m. on Saturday.
Police believed the vehicle was travelling southbound at the time of the incident and failed to remain at the scene, according to a news release Monday.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with what police called non-life-threatening injuries. Police do not currently have a description of the vehicle.
Anyone who was travelling in the Richibucto area at the time of the incident is asked by police to contact them at 506-523-4611 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
