‘They So Over Me': Rihanna Posts Cute Mommy Update With Photos Of Riot and RZA
Rihanna may be one of the coolest pop stars to ever live but to her sons Riot and RZA, she's just a mom.
The Bajan billionaire snapped some photos of her two toddler sons in the backseat of a car as the trio traveled through France with the caption 'they so over me on this lil road trip' and fans were elated to catch a glimpse of the tots. RZA held down big brother duties by brushing up on his French by way of a workbook titled 'Cahier De Vacances' while Riot mean-mugged the camera and sucked his pacifier. Papa A$AP Rocky hopped in the comments to big up his oldest son's study habits saying, 'RZA man learning French.' https://www.instagram.com/p/DKSDIAyRS_f/?img_index=1
The adorable twosome have been soaking up time with their parents in Paris ahead of the arrival of their newest sibling. Though we don't know whether or not they'll have a little sister or brother, Mama Rih Rih seems to be quickly approaching the end of her pregnancy by the looks of her bump. She was flicked up heading into a hotel with Riot and later emerged with both Rocky and RZA in tow. https://www.instagram.com/theshaderoom
Days prior, Rihanna was sitting front row to support Rocky at his show during Paris Fashion Week and then hopped over to her Smurfs Movie premiere where he returned the favor. They were the stylish couple's first public appearances since the untimely passing of the Fenty founder's father, Ronald Fenty, on June 2. Though she has not made a public statement on her father's death, fans have poured in loving condolences via her comments since the news hit the internet.
RZA, Riot and the new baby will undoubtedly have Paris as their own personal playground for years to come as it is one of the places Rihanna and Rocky pop out at the most. Last summer, their viral moment to GloRilla's TGIF had the girls in a tizzy. And for Valentine's Day, Rih Rih posted some personal videos of the two of them walking down the Parisian streets dressed impeccably, of course, in celebration of their love story.

J-Hope and GloRilla Flee the Scene on New Song ‘Killin' It Girl'
BTS' J-Hope is back with another new single, 'Killin' It Girl,' featuring a guest verse from Memphis rapper GloRilla. Produced by Cirkut, Inverness, and Blake Slatkin the track starts off with a spare but propulsive beat that eventually opens up on the chorus with big pop synths. J-Hope delivers a verse filled with dumbstruck devotion — 'Looking like a twenty from Korea to Miami/Oh, I wanna get with you in the worst way' — while GloRilla breezes through self-assured bars like, 'Murder for hire, Mike Glo Myers/Keep my foot up on they necks and my heels high/Might take your man and tell you go take it to trial.' While J-Hope and Glo clearly had to film their parts in two different places, both appear in the clip, with a black cat providing the link between the two locales. This is the fourth single J-Hope has released this year, following 'LV Bag' with Don Toliver, Speedy, and Pharrell, 'Sweet Dreams' with Miguel, and 'Mona Lisa.' The flood of new music comes after J-Hope completed his mandatory military service in South Korea last October. As for GloRilla, she dropped her debut album Glorious last October, and since then she's shared one new solo single 'Type.' She's featured on new tracks by Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Gelo, Jorjiana. In an interview with Rolling Stone back in March, J-Hope spoke about how his time in the service allowed him to seek out new influences. 'I think the period of rest that naturally came with the situation actually became an opportunity for more exploration,' he said. 'I found a lot of new inspiration and got to spend much time thinking about the future. I also started making plans for what I want to do once I complete my military service.' Before his enlistment, J-Hope released his debut solo album, Jack in the Box, while back in March 2024, he shared a few extra songs on the Hope on the Street Vol. 1 EP. As for BTS, nearly every member of the group has completed their mandatory military service. Earlier this week, Jimin, Jungkook, RM, and V all received their discharge orders, joining J-Hope and Jin, who completed their service lat year. Only Suga still has some time left, but he's set to be discharged later this month. Essence Fest Owns Up to Delays After Lauryn Hill Played to a Nearly Empty Arena at 2:30 A.M.
Essence Festival organizers have taken responsibility for a concert that ran so far behind schedule that Lauryn Hill wound up taking the stage at around 2:30 in the morning. Delays completely derailed the opening day of the 31st annual event, which returned to the Superdome in New Orleans this past weekend. According to opening night Friday, July 4, featured a whopping eight acts, with Hill joining the lineup just two days before the concert. As the show got underway, it was quickly beset by scheduling issues that only got worse as the night wore on. More from Rolling Stone J-Hope and GloRilla Flee the Scene on New Song 'Killin' It Girl' Hometown Heroes and Cross-Genre Icons: Seven Takeaways from Roots Picnic 2025 Lil Wayne, Playboi Carti, Teyana Taylor Among Performers at 2025 BET Awards GloRilla, the fourth act to play, finished her set 45 minutes after the Isley Brothers were originally set to take the stage. Maxwell, who was supposed to start his performance at 11:15 p.m., took the stage at 12:55 a.m. When Hill arrived on stage at 2:31 a.m., most of the Superdome was empty. Still, the Fugees legend found ways to make the most of a strange situation, chatting with the fans who stuck around and even taking some left-field requests, like 'I Gotta Find Peace of Mind' and 'Tell Him.' Her set finished, officially, at 3:37 a.m. While Hill has a history of showing up late to concerts, Essence Fest organizers insisted the Friday night/Saturday morning debacle was in no way her fault. 'She arrived on schedule, stepped on that stage, and delivered the kind of performance only a legend can,' the festival wrote on Instagram. Organizers continued: 'The delay? Not hers. We will take that. The moment? One for the books. The legacy? Still unmatched. Put some respect on her name. Keep the takes, but keep her out of them. All love and deep profound admiration for Ms. Lauryn Hill.' By all accounts, nights two and three of Essence Fest ran a bit more smoothly. Saturday's show, for instance, saw performances from Davido, Buju Banton, Erykah Badu, and Jill Scott, with the latter closing out the night at the slightly more reasonable hour of 1:30 a.m. Best of Rolling Stone Sly and the Family Stone: 20 Essential Songs The 50 Greatest Eminem Songs All 274 of Taylor Swift's Songs, Ranked

5 Bob Haircut Trends Everyone Is Asking For This Summer
courtesy of spoke and weal NY Here's the thing about a good haircut: It only takes one photo to spark inspiration. If you're feeling a little lost this summer, we're here to help. Bob haircuts are particularly fun because if you've been a Refinery29 reader for a while you know, we appreciate the often imperceptible but critical details that make an Italian bob different from a French bob (the former is more cropped to the ears, and the latter is often structural and includes a bang). Here, we're breaking down the top bob trends of the moment — for summer 2025 — in hopes that they might inspire your next appointment. Find our predictions with imagery for you to save and expert styling advice, ahead. Carved bob View this post on Instagram A post shared by Spoke & Weal (@spokeandweal) The technique used to create a carved bob gives the hair a very lived-in look, "similar to when you cut hair using a razor," explains hairstylist Amanda Lee. The cut, which is purposefully grown-out with tapered ends, was popular in 2018 and 2019 and is seeing a resurgence. "It's a creative cut based on removing weight and creating layers that provide lift and movement into the hair," explains hairstylist Cassadi Currier. Flipped bob View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lindsey Neavitt (@lindseyneavitt901) Many stylists track the origins of the flipped bob back to the '60s. "It had a very retro feel," explains Lee. "Jackie Kennedy is the first name to come to mind when I think of the flipped bob." There's an innate elegance to this style but it's pretty versatile. The current variation is cut short, maybe slightly asymmetrical, and has some polish. For styling, Lee recommends using a hot brush (like the Mane Medium Hot Brush, $98) to give your hair a good flip on the ends and a smoothing balm (she prefers the Emi Jay Angelstick, $38) to polish any flyaways. Fluffy bob View this post on Instagram A post shared by DECEMBER FULLY BOOKED (@hairbyanaiss) A fluffy or "soft-sweeping layered bob" is a modern favorite among stylists. "It's one of my favorite types of bob haircuts," says Currier, "and I love that most of them have a deep-set side part." Lee considers the fluffy bob a modern version of a classic cut. "The fluffy bob is really just a modern take on the classic bob shape, giving it more volume and movement," she says. To style, she recommends a big round brush, a round brush blow dryer, or a round brush attachment (if you're using a Dyson). Japanese bob View this post on Instagram A post shared by 菊池 洵 / 美容師 (@jun__kikuchi) "The Japanese bob is also a chin-length bob that really hugs the curvature of the face," says Currier. "This bob is usually parted in the middle and has gorgeous sweeping layers that go away from the face with blunt ends." The name comes from the country of origin and inspiration. In Japanese hair salons, this is just a short bob. For styling a Japanese bob, Currier recommends using a flat iron and "beveling" sections, curving the hair under. But for the pieces around the face, "you're going to want to direct the flat iron forward in the opposite direction and sweep backward towards the ear to give a bit of a curved, sweeping look to the fringe," she explains. Bitchy bob View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jenna Perry Hair Studio (@jennaperryhairstudio) This bob is fun. It's polished, one-length, and hits right at the corners of the mouth. It has some high-fashion edge and attitude, which is likely why hairstylist Jordan Luger at Jenna Perry Salon in NYC calls it the "bitchy bob." If you're thinking of inching up this summer, this is a charming way to go about it.
