If you've been grinding through Diablo 4 lately and noticed a strange white tree icon on your buff bar, it's not a bug or some obscure passive. That's the Gift of the Tree, and it's actually your shortcut to getting extra loot while running Whispers.
Want more gear, gold, and goodies without doing anything new? Here's everything you need to know!
The Gift of the Tree: A Limited-Time Loot Boost
The
Gift of the Tree
is an active bonus event in Diablo 4's Season 9, running until July 22, 2025, 1:00 PM EST. During this period, every time you turn in 10 Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers, you get one extra Chaos Cache, on top of your selected reward.
What Are Chaos Caches?
Chaos Caches are wildcard loot boxes. Unlike the regular caches you pick at the Tree (like Armor, Weapons, or Keys), these are unfiltered, offering everything from junk gear to rare Ancestral drops.
Think of them as RNG grab bags—they're perfect for farming materials, gold, or just rolling the dice on powerful finds.
Bonus tip
: These caches count toward the
Chaotic Whispers
achievement. If you're hunting that, this event is your golden ticket.
NEW PATCH BROKE Diablo 4 BUT NEW LEGIONS ARE INSANE
How to Get the Bonus Cache
To make the most of the event:
Complete Whispers. These are Diablo 4's version of bounties.
Earn Grim Favors. You need 10 Grim Favors to claim a reward at the Tree.
Turn them in at the Tree of Whispers or a Raven of the Tree.
Select a reward cache; any type works (though note: Greater Dungeon Key caches might be bugged and not provide the bonus).
Receive your chosen cache + a free Chaos Cache.
Easy loot, extra value.
How Do Whispers Wor?
Whispers show up as icons with colored borders on your map. The border color indicates how many Grim Favors they'll earn you:
Pale Pink
= 1 Favor
Pink
= 3 Favors
Red
= 5 Favors
Complete any mix that adds up to 10 Grim Favors. Then head to the Tree or one of its Ravens and claim your reward + bonus. Just make sure you've unlocked the Tree of Whispers by finishing the main campaign or skipping it during character creation.

How to solo defeat Lunala in Pokémon GO 5-star raids easily?

(Image via The Pokemon Company) Think soloing a 5-star raid is impossible? Not when Lunala's involved. Thanks to its double weakness to Ghost and Dark types, even a solo trainer can take it down without remote invites and group coordination with just you and your top-tier counters. Here's your complete guide to solo beating Lunala in Pokémon GO. Know Your Opponent: Lunala Basics Type : Psychic / Ghost Double Weakness: Ghost & Dark Combat Power (CP): ~48,000 Best Weather Boosts: Foggy (boosts both Ghost and Dark) Lunala's unique dual-typing makes it surprisingly vulnerable, a rare double weakness. That's your biggest solo advantage. Soloing Lunala: Pre-Raid Checklist Before you hop in, make sure: Your best Ghost/Dark Pokémon are Level 45+ (ideally Level 50) You're using Foggy weather for move boosts You've stocked up on Revives and Potions Your internet connection is stable (disconnecting = instant fail) Lunala Raid Guide in Pokémon GO – Best Counters, Movesets & Tips! #pokemongo #pokemon Best Pokémon to Solo Lunala Here are your top counters, all of them must be Level 50 for this to work. 1. Mega Tyranitar (Bite + Brutal Swing) Absolutely melts Lunala with brutal Dark-type spam. Shadow variant works too. 2. Mega Gengar (Lick + Shadow Ball) Insane DPS, but glassy. Works best if Lunala doesn't know Shadow Ball. 3. Dawn Wings Necrozma (Shadow Claw + Moongeist Beam) Excellent neutral coverage, especially if Lunala runs Psychic or Moonblast. 4. Mega Absol (Snarl + Payback/Brutal Swing) Surprisingly viable. High DPS and easily accessible. Pro tip: Shadow versions of Weavile, Mewtwo (with Shadow Ball), or Hydreigon (with Brutal Swing) also work brilliantly. Raid Strategy: Solo Battle Plan Lead with your strongest attacker (preferably a Mega or Shadow). When Lunala hits red HP, pause using Charged Moves, heal your main attacker, and re-enter fast. Bring a backup Pokémon to stay in the lobby if your main faints. This prevents a forced relobby. Focus on dodging Charged Moves if Lunala uses Shadow Ball; it hits hard . Weather Conditions Matter Foggy Weather : Boosts Ghost and Dark moves. Windy Weather : Boosts Lunala's Psychic moves. Key Moves to Watch Out For Lunala may know: Shadow Ball (Ghost) – dangerous for Mega Gengar Moonblast (Fairy) – easy for Dark-types to tank Air Slash (Flying) – neutral, but still hurts glassy counters Adjust your lineup based on the boss's moveset. You can't reset raids to get better moves, so adapt wisely. Soloing Lunala isn't just possible; it's achievable with smart prep and perfect execution. Focus on high-level Ghost and Dark attackers, exploit Foggy weather when you can, and time your heals right. This is one of the rare 5-star raids where you don't need a team; just your best Pokémon and a little strategy. Catch Rani Rampal's inspiring story on Game On, Episode 4. Watch Here!

Which LMG is getting a reactive skin in Apex Legends Season 26?

(Image via Respawn Entertainment) Season 26 of Apex Legends is just around the corner, and fans are already buzzing about what's next in the Battle Pass. One of the biggest highlights each season? The coveted reactive weapon skin. While nothing is officially confirmed yet, the community believes they've spotted the next lucky gun to get a glow-up. And all signs point to one energy weapon that's been waiting for its turn. Is the L-Star Getting a Reactive Skin? Leakers and data miners have dropped hints, and the chatter on X (formerly Twitter) is loud: the L-Star EMG is likely getting its first-ever reactive skin in Season 26. The L-Star is no stranger to Apex Legends veterans. This energy LMG has seen its ups and downs in the meta buffed, nerfed, sidelined, and revived. But what it hasn't had is a reactive skin. That may finally change. What the Leaks Say According to a recent post by trusted leaker @HYPERMYSTx, a new skin design for the L-Star was spotted in what appears to be early development renders. The details? Color scheme : Sleek black and white base Accent tones : Electric blue highlights Design cues : Crystal-like magazine and segmented stock The magazine looks eerily similar to the Nemesis reactive skin from Season 25, hinting at a design evolution that fans of energy weapons will appreciate. What Makes Reactive Skins Special? For newcomers: reactive skins aren't just cosmetic; they evolve. Each elimination in a match powers up the skin's appearance. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Brought to you by Undo That means you start a game with a cool-looking gun and end it with an absolute visual flex if you're racking up kills. Past reactive skins, like those for the R-99, Hemlok, and Alternator, had glowing effects, shifting patterns, and even custom inspect animations. The L-Star's version is expected to follow suit, with fragmented moving parts and possibly a custom reload animation. Apex Legends New Buffs & Nerfs Season 26 Rework Update Why the L-Star Makes Sense Here's why the L-Star is a solid pick for Season 26's reactive skin: It hasn't had one yet - Most fan-favorite weapons already have theirs. Recent buffs – Respawn has been quietly tweaking the L-Star, potentially setting it up for a return to relevance. Themed continuity – If the leak is accurate, its visual design complements Season 25's reactive Nemesis, suggesting a deliberate style trend. Final Thoughts (But No Confirmation… Yet) As of now, Respawn or EA haven't confirmed anything officially. But when the leaks start aligning with in-game trends and design patterns, there's usually fire behind the smoke. If you're an L-Star main, or just love reactive skins, you might want to start grinding that Battle Pass the moment Season 26 drops. Stay tuned. The legends never stay quiet for long.
