In the post-credits scene, Vijay (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran) finds a letter from Meher (Kajol), in which she finally reveals the truth about her past. It's disclosed that Meher was actually an undercover spy who had infiltrated enemy lines years earlier and was responsible for leaking critical intelligence.
As the letter is read in the background, Vijay and Harman bid their final goodbyes while performing Meher's last rites. Father and son weep over the tragic loss. In her letter, Meher writes that she is glad her death could at least bring Vijay and Harman closer together.
Sarzameen review
Sarzameen had a direct digital release on JioHotstar a few days ago, and let's just say the film failed to impress many. Viewers criticized the weak writing and direction, with some even describing the experience as torturous. Many felt that the film wasted a talented actor like Prithviraj Sukumaran, and several admitted to leaving the movie halfway through. All in all, despite much anticipation, the film failed to keep audiences engaged.
Sarzameen, produced by acclaimed filmmaker Karan Johar, marks the directorial debut of Kayoze Irani, son of celebrated actor Boman Irani. Although this is his first time directing a feature film, Kayoze is no stranger to the industry. He made his acting debut in Johar's 2012 film Student of the Year, sharing the screen with then-newcomers Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. Since then, he has been involved in various behind-the-scenes roles, and Sarzameen stands as his first significant project as a director under the Dharma Productions banner.
