Both phones have the exact specifications barring the display and battery capacity. The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2556 x 1179 pixels, 2000 nits peak brightness and HDR10 and Dolby Vision compliance. The 16 Plus has a larger 6.7-inch screen with a higher resolution of 2796 x 1290 pixels. Other display features are identical.
The iPhone 16 feels better in hand due to its compact size and lower weight, but the iPhone 16 Plus has a significantly larger 4674 mAh battery that lasts a lot longer than the 16's 3561 mAh unit. Both phones have IP68 rated ingress protection and support wireless charging. These devices are powered by Apple's A18 chip and have a USB-C charging port. The Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus run the latest iOS 18 with more OS updates to follow over the years.
Camera department hasn't seen a major change from the iPhone 15 series on paper. You get a 48MP main camera with dual-pixel PDAF and optical image stabilisation (OIS). The secondary 12MP ultra-wide camera now gets auto-focus, and thus, macro capabilities; a welcome addition. The 12MP front camera here has been around for a few generations now. The performance in photography and videography is excellent, as one expects from an iPhone. And you also get the new physical Action button that offers a few new tricks.
One can even get the 512 GB variant of the iPhone 16 under a lakh, but we would advise against it given the Rs 20,000 premium for just the extra storage.

HighlightsDigital media now accounts for over 55 percent of the national advertising expenditure in India, according to Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju. India's digital advertising market is projected to exceed Rs 70,000 crore by 2026, driven by the increasing number of smartphone users and affordable data rates. Sanjay Jaju emphasized the importance of leveraging artificial intelligence and immersive technologies to enhance India's storytelling capabilities in the evolving media and entertainment landscape. Digital now dominates the media and entertainment sector accounting for over 55 per cent of the national advertising expenditure, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju said here on Friday. He said that over 55 crore smartphone users were a key factor in the shifting dynamics in consumption in the media and entertainment sector. "The digital segment is now definitely more than the non-digital segment," said Jaju addressing Storyboard18's Digital Entertainment Summit (DES) 2025. He said the industry must now enable the segment "to grow at a much brisker pace". While India has long been a creative powerhouse, Jaju stressed the digital medium has become central to its global aspirations. "Digital entertainment, being the core theme... has a huge share in the overall media and entertainment landscape," he said, noting the growing importance of streaming platforms , gaming companies, animation and post-production studios, and the creator economy. Jaju said the Indian media and entertainment industry has been undergoing rapid digitization, fueled by affordable data rates, deep smartphone penetration and growing internet access. According to various industry estimates, India's digital advertising market is poised to surpass Rs 70,000 crore by 2026. New BMW CE 04 Teased Ahead Of Launch; Check Details
BMW Motorrad is going to launch an updated version of the CE 04 in the global market. Before the event, the Bavarian giant released a teaser on the social media platform. Although the teaser doesn't reveal much, it does hint at a change of aesthetics for the model. Based on the announcement, this version of the two-wheeler will make its debut on July 5. It comes as part of the brand's strategy of launching multiple new products, which until now included various models based on the 1300 cc platform. The BMW CE 04 was initially launched in 2022 and is currently in its third model year in the international market. The teaser released by the automaker shows a side panel of the model featuring its badge. Looking at this part, it is hard to judge if the brand is going to change the design or just introduce a new paint scheme. In the teaser, the brand has hinted at a matter-blue colour with fluorescent accents. The BMW CE 04 currently features an 8.5 kWh battery, which provides a claimed range of 130 km. It is equipped with a liquid-cooled permanent magnet motor, a feature that is quite uncommon in India, producing a peak power output of 31 kW and 62 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a belt final drive. The updated CE 04 is expected to launch in India shortly after its worldwide debut. It's important to note that, unlike the CE 02, which is produced locally in India by TVS, the CE 04 is imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), resulting in higher taxation. Therefore, it is priced at Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Choose a laptop with a sturdy yet lightweight chassis. Display: Opt for a sharp, bright screen with good colour accuracy, especially if you work with visuals. Ports and Connectivity: Ensure it has the ports you need, including USB-C, audio jack and fast Wi-Fi support. Yes, many slim laptops now come equipped with high-performance processors, ample RAM and fast SSDs. They can handle demanding tasks like photo editing, coding and multitasking, though for heavy video rendering or gaming, a larger laptop with a dedicated GPU may still be better. Most slim laptops are designed with energy efficiency in mind, offering between 8 to 15 hours of battery life depending on usage. However, battery performance can vary by brand and model, so it's important to check real-world reviews rather than just listed estimates. Slim laptops may sacrifice certain features like extensive port selection, dedicated graphics or upgradeable components to stay compact. While great for portability, they might not be ideal for users who require high-end gaming, large-scale data storage or hardware customisation.
