
Naked Wardrobe enters UK via wholesale partnership with Flannels
Beginning Friday (20 June) the US-based fashion brand will introduce its 'cult-favorite solution-forward basics' and its Original Sculpted Streetwear, available nationwide and on the Flannels website.
This partnership 'marks a significant milestone in Naked Wardrobe's international expansion… by entering the UK retail landscape, the brand continues its mission to redefine modern womenswear with high-quality, thoughtfully designed wardrobe essentials on a global scale'.
The debut collection is designed to 'streamline and elevate the everyday wardrobe with versatile, foundational styles'. It features the brand's best-selling bodysuits, dresses, jumpsuits, blazers, pants, and skirts in its signature neutral tones, including cream and chocolate. Sizes range XS to XL, with prices from £30-£185.
Shideh, Shirin and Shida Kaviani, founders of Naked Wardrobe, said: 'We share [Flannels'] commitment to delivering high-quality, thoughtfully designed ready-to-wear that resonates with today's consumer. Earlier this year, Mars the Label made a "decisive step in its evolution, forming its first-ever retail partnership' with Flannels, while Savile Row 's luxury heritage brand Gieves & Hawkes (now owned by Flannels owner Frasers Group), opened a store-in-store within Flannels' flagship in Leeds.

Coach parent Tapestry invests in Gen Phoenix to scale sustainable leather
Tapestry Inc., the New York–based parent company of Coach and Kate Spade, will invest $15 million in Gen Phoenix, a UK-based recycled leather innovator, to expand its sustainable materials strategy across its fashion portfolio, the companies told Reuters. The deal raises Tapestry's stake in Gen Phoenix to 9.9%, signaling a deeper commitment to circular fashion. The investment aligns with the company's broader sustainability ambitions and its focus on attracting Generation Z — those born between 1997 and 2012 — who increasingly prioritize eco-conscious fashion. The partnership began in 2022 with the launch of Coach's Gen Z-focused Coachtopia line, which features products designed with at least 50% recycled leather fibers made from waste supplied by Gen Phoenix, according to the company's website. Scott Roe, Tapestry's chief financial and chief operating officer, said Coachtopia serves as an indicator of younger consumers' shopping behavior. 'It's not that Coachtopia is so commercially massive, but it is helping us understand what's important to this really critical demographic,' he said. Roe declined to disclose Coachtopia's share of total earnings, noting only that it remains 'relatively small.' Gen Phoenix estimates its materials have an 80% lower carbon footprint compared to virgin leather. The companies previously collaborated on an uncoated lining material that Coachtopia brought to market in under a year, said Elyse Winer, chief marketing officer at Gen Phoenix. As part of the investment, Gen Phoenix — which sources waste materials from European tanneries and factories — will supply recycled leather to Tapestry for three years. Gen Phoenix CEO John Kennedy said the company looks forward to working across all Tapestry brands. OTB names Meryll Rogge new creative director of Marni
OTB Group, which controls Marni, has appointed Meryll Rogge to be the new Creative Director of the Milan-based house. Rogge joins Marni following the success of her eponymous brand, Meryll Rogge, which she launched in 2020. The appointment comes two weeks after Rogge was awarded the Grand Prix in Paris at the 2025 ANDAM Fashion Awards, one of fashion's most prestigious accolades. 'We met many highly qualified candidates, confirming how Marni continues to inspire and attract creatives from around the world. Meryll impressed us with the sensitivity she brought to reinterpreting the brand's DNA, offering a contemporary vision that embraces Marni globally and across all its dimensions – including accessories, interior design, communication, and special projects. I wish her the best in carrying this vision forward with passion, supported by a team and a Group that have always placed creativity at the core of their identity,' said Renzo Rosso, Chairman of OTB, the parent company of Marni, in a release.
