How To Get On The Kapil Sharma Show: Complete Step By Step Guide Here
Maybe you've imagined cracking up in the live audience, or even performing your own comedy act on India's most beloved stage. The Kapil Sharma Show isn't just about celebrities and laughter, it's also one of the few prime-time shows where everyday people get a shot at the spotlight.
But what if you want more than just laughs? What if you dream of sitting on the KBC hot seat opposite Amitabh Bachchan, or living it up (and surviving the drama) inside the Bigg Boss house?
This guide breaks down exactly how common people with no agents and no connections can land a spot on three of India's most popular shows. Whether you're funny, brainy, dramatic, or just bold, there's a path. And it starts here.
How to Get on The Kapil Sharma Show
The Kapil Sharma Show is a comedy program where you can participate in two ways: as a live audience member or as a performer.
For Live Audience Members:
What to Do:
Visit the Sony LIV app or the show's official social media pages (Instagram, Facebook).

Fill out the online form with your name, mobile number, and email.
If selected, you'll receive a confirmation message or email with the date and studio address.
Important Points:
There's no fee to be part of the audience.
The show is shot in Mumbai, so you'll need to bear your own travel and accommodation expenses.
Wear something unique or do something fun—this might get you featured on camera!
To Become a Comedian or Performer:
What to Do:
If you have a talent for comedy, dance, singing, or any special skill, create a 2–3 minute performance video.
Email this video to the show's casting team.
Make sure your personality and unique talent shine through.
How to Play Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)
KBC is a quiz show where you can win big by answering general knowledge questions. The participation process is slightly lengthy but straightforward.
Registration Process:
Online Registration:
Download the Sony LIV app.
KBC registration opens every year before the new season. Visit the app or sonyliv.com/kbc.
Fill out the registration form with your name, age, address, and mobile number.

After registration, you'll be asked general knowledge questions through the show's toll-free number (1800-209-3333).
These range from easy to moderate. If you answer correctly, you may move to the next round.
Face-to-Face Audition:
If selected, you'll be invited for an audition in Mumbai or another major city.
Here, your personality, confidence, and general knowledge will be assessed.
Journey to the Hot Seat:
After clearing the audition, you could be selected for the 'Fastest Finger First" round.
From there, you might earn a place on the hot seat opposite Amitabh Bachchan!
How to Get into Bigg Boss
Bigg Boss is a reality show where participants live together under one roof, complete tasks, and entertain audiences. Your entry depends largely on your personality.
Audition Process:
Online Application:
Search for 'Bigg Boss Audition" on the JioCinema app or website.
Create a 2–3 minute video highlighting your personality, ability to entertain, and uniqueness.
Upload the video or send it to the production team.
Become Viral on Social Media:
If you're popular on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, the production team may reach out directly.
Many contestants in the past were chosen because of their strong digital presence.
Do You Have to Pay to Get on These Shows?
No! There is no registration fee for participating in The Kapil Sharma Show, KBC, or Bigg Boss.
If anyone or any agent asks you for money, it is likely a scam. Always apply only through official websites or verified social media handles.

Last Updated: SM Raju, a stunt veteran in the Tamil film industry, died on the sets of Arya's upcoming film Vettuvan. Prithviraj Sukumaran expressed his grief. In a tragic accident, renowned stunt artist S.M. Raju lost his life on Sunday during the shoot of the Tamil movie Vettuvan, starring Arya and directed by Pa Ranjith. Exclusive - The Kapil Sharma Show fame Samriddhi Mehra of twins sisters Chinki Minki on their separation post: We are not having any sibling breakup or divorce, it was for Chhoriyan Chali Gaon
Twin sisters Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra, popularly known as Chinki Minki from The Kapil Sharma Show , left fans stunned last week when they announced their decision to part ways through a social media post. The news of their separation left many of their fans heartbroken and caught many eyeballs. However, the duo has now clarified that they are not having any sibling breakup or divorce and everything was just for the promotion of their new reality show, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon. Clarifying the post, Samriddhi Mehra of Chinki Minki, explained, "We did not expect such a reaction on the post. We both didn't expect it and we were overwhelmed by the response. Humne socha chalo dekhte hain kya response aata hai. Honestly, it was not in our hands we were asked to post and we did it. The post was purely for the show as we are going as separate contestants in Chhoriyan Chali Gaon. For the first time we will be seen as individuals. We are going together on the show but as individuals to play our own game, so the post was all about that. Chinki-Minki will be seen working together even after the show, we are not having any sibling breakup or divorce. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo We got so many calls, messages that 'oh my god you guys are getting separated', but it was all confidential so we couldn't clarify it to anyone. But now as the promos are out for the show, everyone will understand it was just for the show." Samriddhi revealed that after their announcement, they received numerous calls and messages from concerned people asking about their separation. Some even drew comparisons to the rumored fallout between Neha Kakkar and Sonu Kakkar. She said, "I would say sibling breakup can happen between normal siblings but that bond that twin sisters share is very different and nobody can beat their telepathy. I would say nobody can beat Chinki Minki or separate them and it can never happen in future also. Na koi Kar paaya hai na koi kar paayega. We have come together in this world and we will go everywhere together. I know a lot of people compared our post with Neha Kakkar and her sister's breakup, but I would say our fields are different. Ours was just a promotional post and we did not know it would go out of hand in such a way and people would feel bad. For us also it was a bit heartbreaking and we also felt Arre ye kya hogaya, logon ne itna zyaada soch liye ke we won't work together anymore. We were not able to express it back then but now I'm very happy to disclose that it was just for Chhoriyan Chali Gaon." Earlier on July 3, Chinki-Minki took to their social media account on July 3, 2025 and shared a joint post on their official Instagram handle. In the post they revealed that they have chosen to part ways and would now focus on exploring life individually. TWINS CHINKI-MINKI ANNOUNCE PROFESSIONAL SPLIT -FANS SHOCKED
