The Kinsmen Pool in Brandon, Man., is officially opening for the summer season following a month-long delay.
The City of Brandon announced that the pool will open on Wednesday at 11 a.m. and will remain open daily until 8 p.m. for the public to enjoy.
CTV News previously reported the 57-year-old pool was originally scheduled to open in mid-June but was delayed when crews discovered a six-inch overnight water loss. The city tested and inspected the pool, finding cracks in the circulation pipes.
Since then, Kinsmen Pool has undergone repairs and cleaning and successfully passed inspection by Manitoba Health.
