Love Island spoilers: Former contestants return to the villa to dump couple hours before final

Cosmopolitan2 days ago
We're just one day away from the finale of Love Island 2025 (*cry*), but one couple won't be making it to the end of the series, which airs on 4 August. In a brutal twist, a string of former Love Island contestants from this season have returned to the villa, and who they choose to dump has been described as "savage".
"Familiar faces make a savage choice," Love Island's First Look on Instagram reads, with a clip showing the likes of Harrison, Alima, Emily and Tommy returning to the villa. The preview has prompted plenty of fans to speculate how the former Islanders will make their decision, with lots of viewers concerned that their favourites will be given the boot.
"Worst ever decision to let a group of biased and bitter people back to vote," one person commented on the post, as someone else said: "You better not let us down Islanders... do the right thing."
The Islanders' decision won't come totally out of the blue, though, as they'll pick who to dump based on the public's previous compatibility vote – which already sent Conor and Megan packing last week.
"As you know, last night Megan and Conor were dumped as a result of receiving the least amount of votes for most compatible couple," Maya tells the Islanders on tonight's episode. "I'm now going to reveal the two other couples who received the fewest votes and are at risk of being dumped from the Island."
Going on, Maya reveals that "one more couple" will be dumped from the villa there and then. "And that decision will be made by some very familiar faces."
"Welcome back guys," she says, addressing this season's former contestants. "You must now individually decide which couple is the least compatible. The couple with the most votes will be dumped from the Island immediately."
As for who is dumped in tonight's episode, we'll have to wait and see. Although, according to a source who spoke to the Mail Online, the pair that's sent packing have been a "big part" of the series, resulting in a "shocking" moment when their departure is announced.
We! Can't! Wait!

Justin Bieber's son Jack makes adorable cameo in new music video

Justin and Hailey Bieber's son is making his creative debut. In the black-and-white music video for "Yukon," which Justin Bieber released on Instagram Aug. 5, the family of three – which includes the nearly 1-year-old Jack Blues Bieber – frolic on a yacht and in the sea. A diapered Jack plays in the water and gets his toes kissed by his heavily tattooed dad. In another scene, the three are cuddled up on the boat as Justin holds his son with one arm and Hailey kisses his left shoulder. Later, Hailey embraces Jack in the water as droplets streaming down the lens strategically cover the toddler's face, with Jack pointing at the camera. Watch Justin Bieber's 'Yukon' music video: At one point in the music video, Justin and Hailey share a close embrace. In between shots of his family time, Justin dances across the edge of the boat, sings straight at director Cole Bennett's camera and moodily croons while gazing at the floor. "We shot this a couple weeks back over the course of a few days in Spain & Italy," wrote Bennett on Instagram. "Shot on FX3 & GoPro, printed on 16mm film. I'll remember these memories for the rest of my life. Thank you for everything @lilbieber @haileybieber 🤍" A post shared by Cole Bennett (@colebennett) 'Swag' is out: How Justin Bieber rolled out his surprise drop "Yukon" is the third track off Bieber's latest album, "Swag," and the first song to get the music video treatment. The 31-year-old has interspersed references to his wife and son throughout the surprise release project and featured them in some of the imagery for the record. The YouTube sensation-turned-popstar also appears to comment on the status of his seven-year marriage with the Rhode founder in some of his lyrics. In "Walking Away," he pushes back on the rumor mill with thinly-veiled messages: "Baby, I ain't walking away/ You are my diamond, gave you a ring/ I made you a promise; I told you I'd change/ It's just human nature, these growing pains/ And baby, I ain't walking away." Then in "Go Baby," he sings: "When sunlight turns to shadow and it gets hard to face/ Like water to a flower, babe, I know you need the rain/ Nothing needs to work out and nothing needs to break/ Don't need to pretend that you're OK." Celine Dion's fierce defence of son is a lesson in handling 'unwanted advice'

Celine Dion, 57, is a singing icon, but at home her most important role is being mum to her three sons, René-Charles, 24, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 14. The star showed the extent of a mother's love when she fiercely defended her eldest son in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, which has now resurfaced online. Re-shared this year by Instagram fan account, @celinedionfashion, the clip showed Celine being interviewed by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and things took a turn when Ellen asked when she was going to cut off her son's long hair. "Do you have a problem with that?" was Celine's speedy response. "Whatever I will do, I won't please everyone," she quipped, and also went on to reveal that "Rene-Charles makes his own decisions." MORE TO READ Celine Dion opens up about how her three sons have privately dealt with her health battle Fans praised how Celine handled the situation with one writing: "Celine did that with style, education and respect! She's amazing!" and another adding: "Do you have a problem with that? Put Ellen in place right there." A third penned: "Sooooo classy! So admirable, Céline!" and a fourth added: "Glad Ellen is not on TV anymore; she was not kind." Mum-of-one Features Editor, Miranda Thompson, shares her experience on unsolicited advice about children. "When it comes to unwanted advice about my son, I have to always try to remember people think they're being helpful, not malicious, and that it's likely they're trying to offer their own support in their own way. If it really winds me up, I'll take a deep breath and vent to a mum chat later!" she says. Celine shares her sons with late music producer René Angélil, who sadly passed away in 2003. On Father's Day, Celine shared a heartfelt message to her late husband. "You may no longer be by our side, but your love lives within us. You taught our boys to be kind, to believe in who they are, and to take care of one another. That's the greatest gift of all." Celine's health Celine has been plagued with health battles in recent years. In 2022, she revealed her Stiff-Person Syndrome diagnosis. The rare neurological disorder causes painful spasms and mobility issues. She first began experiencing symptoms in 2008, but it took years to get properly diagnosed. In July 2024, she made her triumphant return to the stage at the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, performing live from the Eiffel Tower, after having to cancel many shows ahead of that. René-Charles was on hand to cheer and support his mom in Paris on this very special occasion, and he was visibly emotional. In a backstage clip, Celine's son was seen wiping away tears after his mother's spectacular showing as a crew member rubs his shoulder for support. Upon her return, Celine then pulls her son into a tight hug as they both lean into the emotional embrace. Where does Celine Dion live? The hitmaker traded living in an actual waterpark for a luxurious $1.2 million mansion when she started her Vegas residency – and she's been living there ever since. Over the years, we've seen glimpses inside her beautifully decorated abode where everything is immaculately tidied and super luxurious.
