First look at Oasis stage as band prepares for Cardiff Principality Stadium show
The first look at Oasis' stage just minutes before they perform can now be revealed. The band have got back together for their reunion tour which starts tonight.
Photos have been posted online which show the stage in all its glory ready for Noel and Liam Gallagher to perform. Thousands of people can be seen who have arrived early in anticipation for the long-awaited gig.
The brothers have gone for a simple stage setup, but an 'Oasis' sign can be spotted at the top of the stage. Cardiff is the first place that the brothers will travel to on their reunion tour where an estimated 74,500 fans will go to watch at the Welsh city's Principality Stadium.
Fans have been waiting since 2009 for the duo to work out their differences and perform once again. The reunion tour was announced last year which was met with thousands of fans trying to get their hands on a ticket.
The concert will first begin with two support acts before Oasis take to the stage. Cast will play first at 6pm followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm.
Oasis will then start their set at 8.15pm. It has been rumoured that the band will play 24 of their most iconic songs including Don't Look Back in Anger, Live Forever, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova.
However, a confirmed setlist is yet to be released. This show marks the first of 17 nights across the UK, with fans set to flock to London, Manchester and Edinburgh too.
Oasis will also play in Dublin before the band takes the show on the road to North America, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Chile and Argentina.
The band announced the reunion tour last year, much to the delight of fans. They shared a video to promote the comeback when Liam was heard saying: "When we both come together, you have greatness."
Noel then says: "I know my brother better than anybody else. This is it, this is happening." Oasis surprised its fans who have been camped outside Cardiff's Principality Stadium ahead of their reunion with an upgrade.
Those fans who had been out on the streets of Cardiff were given wristbands to access the front pit in the standing crowd, meaning they get the chance to be up close with Noel and Liam.
ITV Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the ITV show that some ticket holders had been waiting outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday in the hopes of getting to the front of the stage.
He explained that super fans had arrived a day early so once doors opened, they could rush to the front of the stage. The band's management noticed the early arrivals and decided to give them upgrades so they didn't have to wait any longer than appropriate.

Now add Cardiff Principality Stadium 2025 to that glimmering list. Friday night's unveiling of the unforeseen Live '25 tour is right up there in the pantheon of classic Oasis shows I've been privileged to witness over the past 31 years. This is the best I've seen Oasis since 1997. I know it's a big call, but I'm making it. Let's analyse why. There is no new material to promote so this was a brazen playlist of Oasis anthems. One of the biggest worries ahead of these shows was Liam's voice. Fear not. His vocals sounded more honed than they have for many years. The outfits are the same and the swagger is still there but his engagement with the audience more courteous and respectful. Outside, it felt like the build-up to a World Cup knockout game. Lager-swilling once-lads dominated proceedings but there were also starry-eyed young men and women seduced by a Gallagher onslaught for the first time. Witnessing the feuding brothers then stepping on to the sweeping stage is something that will live long in the memory, the Cardiff roar heralding the burying of the hatchet. What a moment — and one I felt I had to witness after documenting the highs and lows of Oasis for The Sun, over 30 years. It felt like this was a climax to 16 years of soul-searching since the brothers split. And the climax of Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall, and Champagne Supernova is one of the greatest closing trilogies in modern music. Oasis singer Noel Gallagher's ex-wife, Meg Mathews, was in attendance at the reunion gig in Cardiff on Friday evening Oasis took to the stage for their first performance in 16 years on Friday night, with the band's family, friends and army of fans rushing to get the best view of Liam and Noel Gallagher at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. Noel's ex-wife, Meg Mathews, was spotted on Friday cheering for her ex. She was seen arriving yesterday, with a source telling the Mirror: "After posting about her ex-husband for weeks, Meg Mathews had a prime seat for watching the band. She was in great spirits before the set, watching Richard Ashcroft with pals." However, she was seen making a swift exit before the encore and was seen departing the show before the band came back to sing some of their biggest songs including Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova. Meg shared several clips of the concert, writing "What a night" over an official video of the crowd. On Saturday evening, she took to her Instagram Stories to share a video of her and Noel embracing each other. Along with a heart emoji, she wrote: "Love you nai nai." Not long after, Meg returned to post a snap of her posing with her dog as she revealed to fans she returned to her home in Cornwall. Meg might be back home, but Noel still has the support of his girlfriend Sally Mash, who was spotted at the VIP section of the stadium this evening. Noel and Sally have kept their relationship lowkey after they began their relationship almost two year ago following his split from second wife Sara MacDonald back in 2022 after 12 years of marriage. Sally runs a private members' club in Chelsea, west London, and previously sells luxury holidays to a list of rich clients. She once worked for a company that chartered private jets and handled VIPS for the Queens Park Rangers. Noel briefly discussed his relationship with her to The Sun's Bizarre column, saying: "She's a good woman. She doesn't show up often, but it was nice to see her [at the Royal Albert Hall]. "She says she sees a steely look in my eyes. She's looked into my eyes countless times down the years. "I've punched above my weight several times in my life, and I think if you can make a girl laugh the battle is more than won."
