Insider Reveals Hulk Hogan Died With A Broken Heart Over Daughter Brooke
While fans mourn the larger‑than‑life legend, a heartbreaking detail from those close to him has surfaced.
According to an insider, Hulk spent his final days deeply worried about his strained relationship with his daughter, Brooke. Despite public smiles, sources say he carried emotional pain that weighed heavily on him right up until the end.
Insider Says Hulk Hogan Suffered Emotionally Due To His Estranged Relationship With Brooke
Hogan tragically passed away from cardiac arrest in his home in Florida, after a battle with heart issues.
Following his demise, insiders revealed the icon was aware of his health condition and tried to reconcile with estranged loved ones before he died.
Unfortunately, the former wrestler was unable to mend his broken relationship with his daughter, Brooke Hogan.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, an insider revealed that in his final weeks, Hulk dealt with a huge emotional burden, which was largely connected to Brooke.
"The last few months of Hogan's life had a lot more ups than downs," the source shared.
"There was a little strain with his daughter and their relationship that had taken quite the emotional toll, but he always thought he would eventually be able to rectify that," they added.
The insider revealed, however, that while Hulk wasn't close to Brooke, he has a great relationship with his son, and his death was a "surprise."
Brooke Reveals Why She Was Absent From Hulk Hogan's Wedding
Hulk and Brooke's relationship has always been a major topic of discussion over the last few years.
In 2023, questions about the state of their relationship began circulating after Brooke was noticeably absent from her father's third marriage to yoga instructor Sky Daily in September of that year.
The Blast reported that three days after the occasion, the singer took to Instagram to offer an explanation.
"As a lot of you know, I value my privacy, but unfortunately, a lot of media outlets are making assumptions as to why I did not attend my father's third wedding," she wrote.
Brooke then shared that she was absent because she needed to heal, as her family had undergone changes in the public eye.
"I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values," the TV personality explained before wishing her father well.
Details Of Brooke Hogan And Her Mother's Estranged Relationship
In the following years, details about Brooke and Hulk Hogan's relationship remained under wraps.
However, fans watched things go downhill between her and her mother, Linda Hogan.
On March 27, 2025, Linda shared an emotional video on social media, tearfully revealing that she hadn't been in contact with Brooke for nearly ten years.
However, a few days later, the 36-year-old released a response, blaming her mother for the nature of their relationship.
"I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents," she wrote. "No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother. … This decision was made based purely on how they have each dealt with me my entire life," she shared per The Blast.
Brooke also revealed she was physically and verbally abused as a child, which robbed her of "self esteem or confidence."
Due to the trauma, the mom of two said she has been to therapy and made conscious efforts to cut off communications with certain family members.
Hulk Hogan's Ex-Wife Fires Back Following Brooke's Response
Linda wasn't pleased with Brooke's response, as she slammed the reality TV star and compared her to Hulk, whom she referred to as a "narcissist."
"Seems narcissism runs deep in this family. Brooke is a narcissist just like her dad ..going out .. spewing lies to everyone, and I'm supposed to defend my truth against that. I'm not about to do that…," Linda revealed per The Blast.
The 65-year-old admitted she might have "spanked Brooke once" and "called her a couple of names," but she insisted her daughter was blowing things out of proportion.
She noted that Brooke's memory of her childhood wasn't accurate and even accused her of physical assault when she was drunk.
Brooke's Husband Refutes Linda's Claims
Amid the growing tension, Brooke's husband Steven Oleksy spoke out in his wife's defense.
He dismissed Linda's allegations as "laughable," noting that Brooke never physically harmed her. He also addressed Linda's claims that his wife struggled with alcoholism.
According to Oleksy, Brooke enjoyed taking cocktails occasionally but never had a drinking problem. He also addressed claims that Brooke intentionally kept her marriage away from the family.
Oleksy said a specific person in the family, seemingly Hulk Hogan, had stated that "don't do weddings or funerals anymore."
As a result, it was difficult for the couple to include him in their plans. In all, he praised Brooke for being resilient and thriving independently.

Christian MAGA Singer Vows To Continue Despite Canada Protests
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Sean Feucht, a prominent American Christian worship leader and vocal supporter of the MAGA movement, says he will press on with his tour of Canada, despite a wave of public protests, security concerns, and event cancellations in multiple cities. Newsweek contacted Feucht for comment via email on Sunday. Why It Matters Feucht's tour has become a flash point in Canada's ongoing debate over freedom of expression, public safety, and the role of religious and political ideologies in public spaces. As communities respond to his messaging—often framed around conservative Christian values and American right-wing politics—the backlash highlights tensions between freedom of speech and protecting marginalized groups from perceived harm. Despite the setbacks, Feucht remains determined to complete his tour. He is continuing to organize events at alternative venues and actively posting about it on social media. On Saturday, Feucht posted on his Facebook and Instagram accounts: "We've been canceled, banned, protested and smoke-bombed in Canada, but the MOVE OF GOD ONLY GROWS STRONGER! "The greater the resistance, the greater the breakthrough! See you today Ottawa and tomorrow Toronto!" Sean Feucht is seen at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza outside the Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 19, 2024. Rebecca Noble/AFP/Getty Images What To Know As reported by Newsweek, Feucht is a pro-Trump American Christian singer-songwriter who unsuccessfully ran as a Republican candidate in California's 3rd congressional district in 2020. Feucht has previously been criticized over remarks he has made about the LGBTQ+ community and for his pro-life stance. He first rose to prominence with his "Let Us Worship" tour in the latter half of 2020, which protested COVID-19 lockdowns. In April of 2022, he helped to lead a protest against The Walt Disney Company for their opposition to anti-LGBTQ legislation. In early 2023, he announced a "Kingdom to the Capitol" tour co-sponsored by Turning Point USA, the nonprofit that advocates for conservative politics at high schools and university campuses. Several Canadian cities, including Halifax, Quebec City, Charlottetown, and Moncton, have canceled Feucht's scheduled events in recent days. Officials cited public safety concerns, protest activity and logistical complications. In Halifax, Parks Canada revoked a permit for a concert at the York Redoubt historic site after consulting with police and local residents. The event was moved to Shubenacadie, about an hour away, where hundreds of attendees gathered. Despite the relocations and cancellations, protests have continued to follow Feucht's appearances. In Montreal, demonstrators set off smoke bombs inside a venue, and at least one person was arrested. Critics of the tour, including advocacy groups and local officials, argue that Feucht's rhetoric is inflammatory and harmful to community cohesion. Some have also pointed to Feucht's political affiliations, which they believe are inconsistent with Canada's inclusive values. Feucht has accused Canadian authorities and media outlets of discriminating against his religious beliefs, claiming his events are being unfairly targeted for expressing traditional Christian values. He has maintained that his message is peaceful and spiritual in nature, not political. What People Are Saying Feucht posting on his X account on Saturday: "I've led worship and preached in Africa, the Middle East and all across the world in 2025. The most intense persecution was not in Iraq or Turkey - but CANADA! Didn't have that on my bingo card." The city of Vaughan, where Feucht was due to perform on Sunday, said in a statement, per CTV News: "The City of Vaughan has denied a Special Event Permit for a music event to be held at Dufferin District Park on July 27 on the basis of health and safety as well as community standards and well-being." What Happens Next City officials in other planned tour stops are assessing whether to grant permits, and national law enforcement agencies are monitoring developments closely. As protests persist, the debate over who gets access to public spaces—and under what terms—is likely to intensify in the days ahead.

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. There's been plenty of speculation about the NBA future of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James this offseason, and things took a wild new turn on Saturday. The 40-year-old James, who exercised his $52.6 million player option earlier this offseason, has made it known through his agent Rich Paul that he wants to win at least one more championship before he retires. "LeBron wants to compete for a championship," Paul said, via Yahoo Sports. "He knows the Lakers are building for the future. He understands that, but he values a realistic chance of winning it all. "... We understand the difficulty in winning now while preparing for the future. We do want to evaluate what's best for LeBron at this stage in his life and career. He wants to make every season he has left count, and the Lakers understand that, are supportive and want what's best for him." LeBron James #23 of the Los Angeles Lakers holds the ball during the second half against the Houston Rockets at Arena on March 31, 2025 in Los Angeles, Basketball: Warriors' Steph Curry Reveals Surprising Bronny James Revelation There have been several conflicting reports this offseason about where James will ultimately end up, and things got a little more interesting over the weekend when James was photographed on a yacht with Misko Raznatovic, the agent for Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. What made things even more intriguing is the caption Raznatovic posted on his Instagram account along with the photo. "The summer of 2025 is the perfect time to make big plans for the fall of 2026! @kingjames @mavcarter," Raznatovic wrote. More Basketball: Angel Reese Sends Clear Message to WNBA About Salary Negotiations The cryptic post has several NBA fans buzzing about the possibility of a James-Jokic team up in Denver in 2026, especially given the number of reports that indicate the Lakers don't have much interest in keeping James around beyond next season. Many analysts believe the likeliest scenario for James sees him playing 2025 in Los Angeles with a revamped Lakers roster that already featured Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and Rui Hachimura and added Deandre Ayton, Marcus Smart, and Jake LaRavia, before moving onto a new team in 2026. Despite being the oldest player in the NBA, James is still one of the most productive players in the game. He ranked 13th in the league in scoring (24.4 points per game), and finished sixth in assists (8.2 per game) and 22nd in rebounds (7.8 per game) in 2024.

WWE star Chelsea Green leaves social media after backlash for Hulk Hogan comments
WWE star Chelsea Green announced she was taking a break from social media on Friday night after she received backlash for her remarks about Hulk Hogan after the pro wrestling icon's death. Green, like many in the pro wrestling world, offered her condolences amid Hogan's death. She appeared on CBS News' 24/7 show on Thursday and called him an "absolute icon" despite his "polarizing political views." Hogan supported President Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential election and was already considered to be a polarizing and controversial figure after leaked audio showed him making racist remarks. He lost favor with some pro wrestling fans because of it. Green's remarks about Hogan drew backlash from fans on social media, and she addressed them in an initial post. "A significant part of my role at @WWE involves engaging w the public & responding to questions, often on live platforms," Green wrote on X. "Yesterday, I was asked to comment on Hulk Hogan on live tv. Let me be clear: my stance on racism is unwavering. I do not condone it—period. "If my response (or tweet) seemed dismissive of real concerns, I sincerely apologize. That was never my intention. I tried to acknowledge a death respectfully, even when the legacy is complicated. I am learning one day at a time and will continue to learn." The backlash appeared to continue, and Green stepped away from social media altogether. "I've tried to keep my page positive and comedic, but today, a lot changed… and it hit harder than I expected. The name calling, the death threats, the faceless accounts," she added. "Social media was supposed to be a fun place and it hasn't been for a while. It's been overwhelming and I need to step away for a little bit." Hogan died on Thursday after suffering a potential cardiac event at his home in Florida. He was remembered across the sports entertainment world. WWE paid tribute to him on "Friday Night SmackDown" with a video of his pro wrestling success and a 10-bell salute.
