GGBET UA Became the Title Sponsor of FC Dynamo Kyiv
The partnership was announced on 25 June at the Dynamo 3.0 media event held in Kyiv, Ukraine. GG.BET is the first betting brand in the club's history to be given title sponsor status.
Kyiv, Ukraine--(Newsfile Corp. - June 27, 2025) - Kyiv was the venue of a press conference with the leadership of UPL team FC Dynamo, who were celebrating another special occasion: 30 titles in the club's history. CEO Dmytro Brif, team captain Vitaliy Buyalskyi, and midfielders Oleksandr Karavayev and Andriy Yarmolenko spoke about their journey to this latest achievement and future plans for the football club.

At the event, they presented a new title sponsor: the GGBET UA will be a partner of FC Dynamo Kyiv for three years. Plans include continuing to bring the fans and the team closer together, opening up new sides of Dynamo to supporters through joint projects, custom content, and special offers.
During the announcement, GGBET UA CEO Sergii Mishchenko revealed the symbolism of the name: "Dynamo 3.0 isn't just about the thirty titles, although of course this is a momentous and historic event. It's also about a new era for Dynamo and GGBET UA. It's a totally new level of collaboration, with a status that no betting company has ever been awarded by the Kyiv club, and involving lots of time and possibilities for carrying out special projects. For us, this is an opportunity to work even more closely with football fans, to increase brand awareness, and to achieve both our own business objectives and those we can work towards with the club. So, I'm confident that during three years of collaboration, we'll be able to impress both our users and Dynamo fans".

Previously, GGBET UA had been the official sponsor of FC Dynamo Kyiv for European cup matches, as well as the sponsor of its winter training camp in Turkey.

Elks mull late-game stalls as they remain winless after 3 games of young CFL season

But the result was the same: Thursday's early season Canadian Football League date in Winnipeg against the Blue Bombers was a loss for the winless Edmonton Elks. The week before at home to the Montreal Alouettes, the Elks came out flat in the first half before coming alive in the latter stages of the eventual 38-28 defeat. In Winnipeg, the Elks found traction over the first three quarters only to fire blanks in the fourth quarter of the 36-23 decision for the Bombers. The game was tied after 45 minutes and Winnipeg was holding onto a three-point lead until the final six minutes, when the hosts put up a touchdown and a field-goal. That's two games in a row when the Elks have stalled out completely in the dying stages, something head coach Mark Kilam says needs to change. The Saskatchewan Roughriders have an undefeated record, but the CFL club is admittedly not perfect. Article content On Saturday, the Green and White improved to 4-0 to begin the 2025 CFL season with a 37-18 victory over the visiting B.C. Lions in a game that featured a pair of veteran backup quarterbacks going head-to-head for their respective teams. Jake Maier made his first start at quarterback for the Green and White in place of the injured Trevor Harris and his teammates made it easy on him. While Maier was effective moving the ball at times through the air, a strong rushing attack and a defence that forced four turnovers helped take some pressure off him. In 45 career starts with Calgary prior to coming to Saskatchewan, Maier has thrown for 300 yards on 13 different occasions. He threw for 170 yards on Saturday night and that was more than enough to get the win. Article content 2. It's a luxury for the Roughriders to have an experienced backup. Sure Maier is no Harris but unlike what Saskatchewan went last through with the inexperience of Shea Patterson, who made his first career CFL start in 2024 when Harris was injured, Maier — a veteran of 45 career starts — looked comfortable in the pocket all night even if he didn't make every throw (13 of 23). While the Lions had two effective touchdown drives, aided by the play of running back James Butler, Masoli threw three interceptions including a costly pick six that was the turning point in the game. If the Lions (1-3) want to contend for a playoff spot this year, they better hope Rourke can return soon. Article content 6. After notching his first interception in the CFL since 2018 last week against Toronto, Riders defensive back Tevaughn Campbell was the one scoring on that pick-six as he put exclamation on the first half with an interception returned for a touchdown to put the Riders up 16-7 at the break. Filling that cornerback spot was one of the biggest needs for the Roughriders this off-season and Campbell — who has adjusted back to the CFL game after six years in the NFL — has been a great addition.
