They will be FAST channels, Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television, which means they will be available through broadband connection.
This means customers will need to have a Virgin TV 360 box, Virgin Stream or a Virgin V6 box with Wi-Fi or ethernet.
The new channels are British Screen Classics on 450 and wedotv movies on 451.
British Screen Classics offers a 24/7 stream of hits from ITV Studios and Studio Canal.
It features adored titles from every genre, including comedy, horror, war, adventure, drama, and romance.
Meanwhile wedotv boasts over 500 films which are rolled out across Romance Mondays and Sci-fi Wednesdays.
This comes as 33 more FAST channels are also accessible on Virgin TV, including Inside Crime, Homes Under The Hammer, Red Bull TV, Hell's Kitchen, and many more.
Virgin Media O2 Chief TV and Entertainment Officer, David Bouchier said: "Virgin TV is home to the best in entertainment and more choice for our subscribers. We offer enhanced value with fantastic on demand and channel content at no extra cost, including two brand-new streaming movie channels.
"On top of the existing streaming channels available to Virgin TV customers, they now have even more choice and 24/7 access to exciting movies for free."
The new channels can be found on the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) on your Virgin TV box.
This comes as customers have been warned BBC iPlayer will stop working on some of Virgin's TV boxes in a matter of weeks.
The Sun can exclusively reveal how telecoms giant has been informing affected customers about the changes that are due to take place on July 23.
Those impacted are being offered a free upgrade to a newer Virgin Media box.
The firm says it has written directly to customers who have accessed BBC iPlayer in the last six months.
Only a small portion are expected to be affected due to the TV box's age.
The boxes affected are the older TiVo models - V6 and Virgin TV 360 boxes will continue to offer access to BBC iPlayer as normal.
And, a much-loved sports channel has disappeared from Virgin Media boxes - but there's a way to continue enjoying the matches for free.
Channel operator DAZN has made changes that affect all viewers, whether they're on Virgin Media or watching via other platforms.
But, Virgin Media often has sweetened its TV and broadband deals with free tech to attract new customers.
And right now, you can bag yourself a free 9th Gen iPad when you sign up for its £88.99 MegaVolt bundle.
I've covered similar Virgin Media deals like this before, and they consistently deliver great value for money.
One of the most recent included up to £100 bill credit for new TV and broadband customers.
This month, the provider is throwing a free 9th generation Apple iPad exclusively to those opting for the MegaVolt package.
The 18-month contract is £88.99 per month, and gets you Virgin broadband, TV, and an O2 SIM,
It's packed with top features, including Virgin Media's fastest Gig1 Fibre broadband with speeds of up to 1130Mbps.
That's ideal for busy households with lots of devices competing for bandwidth.
Of course, that free iPad is the icing on the cake here, and it's a fantastic gadget to make the most of the super-fast speeds.
Whether that's streaming your favourite shows, keeping little ones quiet for an hour, or browning the web.

Where to stream 'genius' action film with Bruce Willis for free

The film has been branded as both "iconic" and "genius" by fans A 'genius' action film that has become a fan favourite has been branded as "iconic" - and it is now available to stream at no cost. After the huge success of the original film in 1988, Die Hard 2 swiftly hit cinemas in 1990. With Bruce Willis reprising his role as John McClane, it rapidly climbed the popularity charts amongst audiences. ‌ Die Hard 2 sees John McClane (Bruce Willis) facing a gang of terrorists who are threatening an airport. Despite its August cinema debut, there remains considerable debate about whether the Die Hard franchise qualifies as festive viewing. ‌ The plot summary states: "Action-packed sequel. Off-duty cop John McClane spots suspicious activity at snowy Dulles Airport, where the fate of incoming flights falls into the hands of a rogue colonel, resulting in carnage before Christmas." Previously, viewers could access the film through a Disney Plus subscription. However, it's now available to watch without charge after being added to BBC iPlayer today (July 6), reports Surrey Live. Despite its older release date, the movie continues to captivate audiences as glowing reviews keep flooding in. With the film being described as "iconic" and "genius", one enthusiast commented: "Die Hard 2 is a great action movie, it doesn't surpass the first one, but it's an amazing movie." Another penned: ""Bigger, Badder, Better" said the movie poster for Die Hard 2 (Dieharder), and you know what, they're absolutely right. Swapping a Skyscraper and giving Police Officer "John McClane" (Action Star Bruce Willis) an entire Airport to play with is a genius idea, immediately upping the scope and scale from the first movie." A third added: "As always with all Die Hard films, truly iconic and legendary. A great sequel with a great storyline, soundtrack, comedy, action, emotion, and intensity. ‌ "A perfect family Christmas film to watch like the original, despite me watching it in April. With another, masterpiece and iconic performance by Bruce Willis, nailing his role as John McClaine as always." Over on Rotten Tomatoes, one critic commented: "My favorite Die Hard movie." Another commented: "Call me crazy but I think that this could be greater than the first one, and don't get me wrong the first one is a masterpiece of the action cinema but this one has more intensity, I don't know both are great movies." Die Hard 2 features Bruce Willis alongside Bonnie Bedelia, William Sadler and Reginald VelJohnson.

But as cash-strapped Brits are struggling to make ends meet, one savvy foodie has revealed how you can enjoy two sides at Wagamama for free. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 One savvy foodie revealed how you can score two free sides at Wagamama Credit: tiktok/@catchagemm 2 There's a reason you shouldn't throw out your takeaway boxes, he revealed Credit: tiktok/@catchagemm The beloved restaurant chain has become a firm favourite for many looking for delicious meals that are also hearty - and turns out, you can now upgrade your dishes with extra free sides. The Japanese-inspired chain, known for its legendary Chicken Katsu curry and ramen dishes, offers a huge variety of sides customers can choose from, such as edamame beans for that protein kick and prawn crackers. According to one money-smart foodie, only known as @catchagemm on TikTok, there's a simple way to save almost £5 for the edamame beans alone during your next visit. And if you love ordering a cheeky takeaway from the popular chain, you might not want to chuck those boxes away. Spilling the beans on the platform, the TikToker first urged foodies to download the Wagamama app on their mobile devices. ''Once you download the app and sign up a new account, you'll get a free voucher for either edamame or prawn crackers,'' he said in the video. ''You can redeem these with your main.'' The cheapest mains, according to their new menu, start from just £10 - and by adding the free side, you'll make them more filling. The savvy foodie went on to reveal another easy hack to bag a free side. ''If you have one of these Wagamama takeaway boxes, all you need to do is just bring it in. I'd heard brilliant things about Too Good to Go so spent £4.40 on an Asda bag - it was an epic fail, I can't eat it all ''The staff will let you know that you can actually trade this for a side. ''Then they will give you one of these vouchers.'' With this voucher, he said, bargain-hunting foodies can claim the free side on the same day or during their next visit to the beloved chain. ''You can trade it in for a free side as long as you buy a main. ''Combine both offers - the one on the app and the one for the free side - and then all you need to do is just buy the main and then you'll get two free sides.'' Site closure However, if you live in Manchester, you won't be able to enjoy this epic offer - as its Spinningfields location has shut its doors after two decades of serving up fan-favourite dishes, we reported in February. The chain first opened the Spinningfields site in August 2005, making it the second Wagamama restaurant in the city. The venue, located in Spinningfields Square opposite Rosa's Thai, is now listed as permanently closed on the chain's website. A message told customers: 'We're now closed at this location. but don't worry, you can still get your favourites at the nearby St Peter's Square or Printworks restaurants.' A spokesperson for Wagamama confirmed the decision, stating: 'Given there are already two other wagamama restaurants in Manchester, guests are being directed to the two other sites to either wagamama Printworks or wagamama St Peters Square.' The spokesperson also hinted at potential future expansions, adding: 'We are always looking for suitable sites in and around the area.' Despite the closure, Wagamama continues to operate across more than 170 locations across the country, including Greater Manchester locations in the Trafford Centre, Didsbury, and Salford's MediaCity.
