HAMMOND, Wis. (WFRV) – A Minnesota man is in custody more than a year after allegedly firing multiple rounds into a Wisconsin establishment and injuring a patron.
Authorities say Antonio Thelen of St. Paul, Minnesota, was involved in an altercation with patrons at Ras's on Main in the Village of Hammond on Jan. 30, 2024.

After leaving the bar, Thelen allegedly returned armed with a firearm and shot through the front window of the building.
One patron sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Thelen fled the scene and had remained at large for over a year. Felony arrest warrants were issued for his apprehension.

On Feb. 13, Thelen was located and arrested by the St. Paul Police Department without incident.
He is currently being held at the Ramsey County Jail, awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.

'We apologize for the unintended message if you received it.' An initial alert was issued to a small area; however, officials realized that people far outside the area had been alerted and a cancellation was sent. The situation at Scray Hill Park had quickly been resolved after the initial message, and then an all-call went out to ensure the area was safe. Those who got an incorrect alert were reportedly informed as well. Officials say that they are working with the federal partners that own the alert system to find out what caused the accidental overspray. To clarify, the first alert was issued to a small area, but it was immediately determined that others well outside that initial area were being alerted. In response, a cancelation for that message was sent. The police situation happened to get quickly resolved after the first message was sent.
