El-Sawy Culturewheel, River Hall, 26th of July street, Zamalek, Cairo
El-Haggar is one of the best-known singers in Egypt and the Arab world over the past four decades.
His songs carry lyrics drawn from the poetry of Salah Jahin, Abdel-Rahman El-Abnoudy and Sayed Hegab to music by the country's most renowned composers such as Baligh Hamdy, Sayed Mekkawy, Omar Khairat, among others.
Hany Mustafa - music

Hany Mustafa, known by his stage name Hany Must, is an Egyptian singer, songwriter and musician. The former frontman of rock band Egoz began his solo career in 2010 with the five-track EP September. He is also one of the lead singers of the Fabrica Musical Theatre company.
His style draws from the indie, alternative and ambient music genres, and his music has greatly contributed to the Egyptian underground scene.
Massar Egbari - music

Founded in 2005, Massar Egbari has gained a large following in Egypt and beyond, with a lineup featuring Hani El-Dakkak on guitar and lead vocals, Ahmed Hafez on bass guitar, Tamer Attallah on drums, Ayman Massoud on keyboards, and Mahmoud Siam on guitar.
Massar Egbari regularly sells out concerts in Egypt and has also performed in the region and internationally.
Disco Misr - music
Friday 18 April, 9pm
Cairo Jazz Club, Sheikh Zayed, Cairo
Disco Misr was formed in the mid-2010s by an Egyptian electronic music group consisting of two DJs and one VJ (visual jockey).
The band represents a new Arabic pop which relies on their original fusions of electronic music, house, nu-disco and punk music with Arabic tunes, many of which are well known to the listeners.
3 in 1: Crime, Art, and Therapy - theatre plays
Friday 18, Saturday 19 April, 8pm
Rawabet Art Space, 5 Hussein Basha Al Meamari, Downtown Cairo
The evening will present three theatre short plays, titled Crime, Art, and Therapy, consecutively. Each play offers a different perspective on life.
The first play is a mysterious investigation, split into two parts: the first with a one-word dialogue, and the second with two words.
The second play follows an artist constantly battling the obstacles that block her creativity.
The third play is about a young man who starts therapy to confront his weaknesses. Will he succeed?
Tablet Elsitt - music
Saturday 19 April, 8pm
Theatro Arkan, Sheikh Zayed city, Cairo
The troupe consists of women percussionists.
Founded by folk music student and enthusiast Soha Mohamed in 2019, the group is bringing Egypt's musical heritage back.
Egyptian Project - music

Cairo Jazz Club - Soma Bay
Egyptian Project is a French-Egyptian musical group that emerged from a unique collaboration between French producer Jérôme Ettinger and several prominent Egyptian musicians. Founded in 2007, the group blends traditional Egyptian instruments such as the arghul, rababa, kawala, and darbuka with contemporary electronic genres like trip-hop, minimal techno, and hip-hop. Their debut album, Ya Amar (2013), showcases this fusion, featuring tracks like 'Mnen Agebak' and 'Sofy,' which have resonated with audiences both in Egypt and internationally
The ensemble's lineup includes renowned Egyptian artists: Sayed Emam on vocals and kawala, Salama Metwally on violin and rababa, and Ragab Sadek on percussion. Their performances are celebrated for their captivating energy and cultural depth, often incorporating elements of Sufi music and engaging live interactions with audiences.
Radio Band - music

Radio Band is a vocal and musical group made up of several voices and skilled young musicians, performing well known covers from the Arab and international music repertoire.
The band is led by composer Helmy Amer.

Egypt, HK Palace Museum to co-host exhibition on ancient Egyptian civilization
Secretary-General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities Mohamed Ismail Khaled and Director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum Louis Ng signed a cooperation agreement to organize a major temporary exhibition titled 'Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums'. The exhibition is scheduled to be held at the Hong Kong Palace Museum from November 18, 2025, to August 31, 2026. The signing ceremony took place in Hong Kong, in the presence of senior Egyptian and Chinese cultural officials. The exhibition will feature approximately 250 exceptional artifacts carefully selected from several Egyptian museums, including the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, Luxor Museum of Ancient Egyptian Art, Suez National Museum and Sohag National Museum. The exhibition will showcase recently excavated artifacts from the Saqqara archaeological site, alongside a carefully curated selection of items presently exhibited in the 'At the Summit of the Pyramid: Civilization of Ancient Egypt' exhibition in Shanghai. The exhibition focuses on three key themes: Royal Egypt, the Era of Tutankhamun, and Archaeological Discoveries from Saqqara. Following the signing ceremony, an international press conference was held to commemorate the partnership, drawing extensive media coverage both locally and internationally. In his remarks, Khaled described the exhibition as a cultural gateway to over 5,000 years of Egyptian history, marking the start of an exceptional cultural journey that deepens cooperation between Egypt and China. He described the exhibition as a timeless cultural dialogue that bridges past and present, reflecting the artistic and creative values shared by two of the world's great civilizations. Mohamed Hamaki Is Putting Final Touches on New Album
Yara Sameh Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki is putting the final touches on his new album. The record consists of 10 songs and is slated to arrive in the summer. In the album, Hamaki cooperates with new collaborations with composers Tamer Hussein, Aziz Elshafei, and more. The megastar released his last album 'Howa El Asas' in August 2024. Hamaki, born on November 4, 1975, is one of Egypt's and the Middle East's most talented male singers. He released his first single in 1997 and his first album 'Khalina Neesh' (Let's Live) in 2003. Hamaki's music career consisted of more than a dozen songs and 9 albums.
