Her parents challenged rural conventions regarding girls' traditional roles by backing her sporting aspirations. Her development was guided by her father, Alankar Koli, who serves as a national shooter-cum-coach and former deputy sarpanch.
Despite equipment constraints, she accumulated numerous medals in shotgun shooting. Her family, including mother Kavita, who manages home affairs, and brother Arnav, an inter-school competition achiever, provides unwavering support.

Josh Allen gives up oceanfront mansion after secret wedding—did Hailee Steinfeld want him out of L.A.?

Josh Allen, fresh from marrying actress Hailee Steinfeld, has listed his California mansion for $8.5 million (Image via Beau Society) Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has officially turned the page on his bachelor lifestyle, and the real estate market is taking notice. Just weeks after tying the knot with Hollywood actress Hailee Steinfeld in a private ceremony, Allen has listed his ocean-view California mansion for $8.5 million—signaling a major shift in both his personal and professional life. From coastal bachelor haven to married life realignment Josh Allen purchased the stunning four-bedroom Dana Point estate in 2023 for $7.2 million. Tucked inside a guard-gated community with access to elite beachfront amenities, the property was the ultimate bachelor retreat. But with a new chapter underway, Allen seems ready to trade beach views for stability and roots. — _MLFootball (@_MLFootball) The listing comes just after his and Steinfeld's intimate wedding on May 31 at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito. The ceremony was reportedly attended by a select group of family, friends, and a few high-profile names, including Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David, Bills head coach Sean McDermott, and several teammates. Hailee Steinfeld brings her own star power—and estate—to the marriage While Allen parts ways with his Southern California property, Steinfeld still holds onto her ultra-modern $8 million home in Encino. Purchased from music legend John Fogerty in 2021, the home predates her relationship with Allen and reflects her own independent success. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Esta nueva alarma con cámara es casi regalada en Buenos Aires (ver precio) Verisure Más información Undo But where the couple ultimately chooses to settle may not be on the West Coast at all. Allen's most meaningful property lies in Orchard Park, New York. Back in 2021, the quarterback quietly bought 31 acres near Highmark Stadium for just $500,000. Since then, he's built a custom megamansion equipped with every imaginable amenity—from a full-sized sports court to a private dock. For Allen, Buffalo isn't just where he works—it's where he belongs. 'I don't want to play anywhere else,' Allen said. 'This is home to me, and it'll never not be home.' Daily wage labourers protest in Doon, demand easier access to schemes

Dehradun: Daily wage labourers in Dehradun protested on Sunday, demanding simplified access to the govt's welfare schemes, citing procedures which are not conducive to their work and bureaucratic red tape that makes it nearly impossible for them to avail the benefits. "After nearly 10 months, labour registration has reopened, but some of the conditions are difficult to fulfil. The govt requires us to have a specific public bank account. We lose our income when we have to skip work to open a new account or visit the registration centre, which only operates during the day. Completing the formalities would be easier if it stayed open in the evenings as well," said Sunita, a worker associated with a labour organisation in Dehradun. Many workers emphasised on the need for easier accessibility for schemes to actually reach them. "Every day is a struggle. During rains, our homes flood. In winter, we struggle to keep our families warm. We are trying to send our children to school while fighting to prove ownership of our houses to civic bodies. Yet, we cannot reach the schemes designed for our empowerment, and no one is willing to listen," said Ganga Saheb, another daily wage worker. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Warren Buffett Says These 5 Books Are a Must-Read for 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo An independent study recently revealed that less than 10% of daily wage earners in Dehradun are registered under existing welfare schemes. This is in accordance with the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report released earlier this year, which showed that no construction workers in the capital city are receiving any pension despite provisions. "The study was conducted across Dehradun, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu. Almost 90% of workers remain unregistered, while registration itself involves the loss of one day and, in many cases, two days' wages. In Dehradun, 60% of respondents didn't know they could apply for financial assistance, and of those who applied, over 90% did not receive any benefits," said Shankar Gopal, research coordinator for the study. The survey, which covered 1,888 workers, looked at welfare schemes under the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996. The report suggests improving awareness, simplifying registration, automatic delivery of certain benefits, grievance redressal, and steps to address shortcomings in welfare schemes. Construction workers have highlighted other issues as well, including the lack of facilities at labour chowks and inadequate safety equipment, despite provisions in place for them.

F&O trade volumes slump nearly 20% after Sebi ban on Jane Street

The recovery to the recent peak in trading activity may not happen immediately, which may squeeze exchanges' earnings. The daily average turnover in index options trade on the NSE, which commands the majority in derivatives trading volumes in India, declined by nearly 17.4% last week from previous week."The recent dip in options turnover is likely due to the exit of a large market-making participant, which has impacted market liquidity and efficiency," said Vaibhav Sanghavi, CEO, ASK Hedge interim, ex-parte order probed into alleged index manipulation by Jane Street involving bank shares and Bank Nifty index futures and options, while banning it from trading in Indian market. The regulator's investigations showed the trading firm was engaged in manipulative trades on expiry days of Bank Nifty derivatives that pushed outcome in its favour. The absence of Jane Street in market has had a ripple effect with other large firms cutting the size of their the weekly options expiry day of Thursday-the most active trading day-turnover was down over 21% to about ₹472.5 lakh crore from ₹601.2 lakh crore a week ago, as per data from ETIG. Vipin Kumar, assistant vice-president of derivatives and technical research at Globe Capital Market, said during the entire expiry week (July 4 to July 10), index futures volumes were down by nearly 24% while index options volume was down by 16.5%, when compared with the entire previous expiry week (June 27 to July 3). Shares of BSE listed on the NSE, and NSE traded in unlisted market, declined in face of drop in volumes. Since Sebi put out order on July 3, NSE shares have dropped 6% to ₹2,150 as on July 13, as per data from BSE stock is down 16%. "It's too early to determine if this loss of turnover is permanent, but it will certainly impact revenues at the exchange-level if prolonged," said said volumes may have also declined as a result of lower volatility due to choppy trading since the start of July. 'The index was trading in a tight range of less than a percent and volumes are usually low during this kind of market move,' he said.'On July 11, Nifty breached that range on the downside and we recorded a sharp uptick in the volumes of index futures, stocks futures and stocks options that were up by 17%, 18% and 28%, respectively compared with the same day the previous week.'Sanghavi said that while this may reduce turnover in the short term, it also creates a more level playing field, limiting the advantage of high-frequency or algorithmic traders who typically account for 40-45% of options volume. Rajesh Palviya, head of technical and derivatives research at Axis Securities, said liquidity could improve once mutual funds launch SIFs, which could build derivative books of Rs 30,000- Rs 40,000 crore over time
