England captain Ben Stokes did not hold his words by being questioned whether Jasprit Bumrah can make a comeback to the series which is delicately poised. It is quite understandable that Stokes, being the man of short temper, could not take it anymore after being constantly asked questions about the Indian pacer in the post-match press conference after England lost to India.
'I thought I'd get through a press conference without being asked about Jasprit Bumrah,' said the English captain.
However, Stokes did give some clarification in how the England batting line up is going to approach the threat posed by Bumrah when they move to London and how we need to be clear of the situation and maintain our composure against India pace spear head.
'We play against each other so often, you know what you will be faced with, so you put it into practice in training. Try to do what you can with the coaches and the sidearms, going wide on the crease, trying to give you practice like their bowling lineup,' explained Stokes.
India will be eager to strike the right balance in their bowling combination, before the Test at the Lords. Meanwhile England will have to back to the backyards and must get ready properly to resist pace-bowling artillery that destroyed them during the second Test.

He is on the cusp of several more records. Gill, who has made a smooth transition to number four, a crucial position in the batting order that has been held by legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli and could create history at Lord's.
