I'm feeling really good – Sophie Ingle relishing Euros dream after knee injury
Ingle has taken a full part at Wales training in Switzerland, but it remains to be seen whether the 141-times capped midfielder will make the starting line-up for their Euros opener against the Netherlands on Saturday.
Speaking before the Lucerne clash, Ingle told Sky Sports: 'I've probably got a stronger knee than before, which is the crazy thing.
'That's already hard to process in your mind. It's definitely mentally (tougher) than physically. 'Can I do it? Can I get back to the level I was at?'
'You go through all those stages, but I'm very laid back and had full confidence in my medical team. That fully helps and it's paid off now I'm here.
'A lot of the girls have said to me over the last few days they can't believe I've been out nine months and look basically the same as before.
'I'm just pushing every single day and, whatever role I'm needed, I'll be there for the team. I'm feeling really good, which is the main thing.'
Ingle revealed how a Christmas card from the Football Association provided extra motivation for her to make Rhian Wilkinson's 23-strong squad in Switzerland.
She said: 'The FAW sent out a Christmas card of our photo when we qualified, the whole team, and there were a few words inside.
'So I put it up on my kitchen shelf. Every time I was in the kitchen that evening I'd look up, and that was just always my focus to get back for this tournament.

'Once the girls qualified in December, that was then my aim, to do everything I could to be in with a chance of getting selected.
'Then, once I got selected it was such a special feeling that all that hard work and those lonely days on your own in the gym kind of paid off.'
Ingle is currently without a club after her second spell at Chelsea ended in May following seven trophy-filled years in west London.

But the 33-year-old remains a standard-bearer for Welsh football, leading the national team 83 times between 2015 and 2024.
Ingle said: 'I think us qualifying for the Euros helped my recovery, to have an aim in place.
'I always had the mentality that if I don't make it, at least I've tried and I've done everything that I can.
'They always say on average, it's nine to 12 months (to recover from an ACL injury), but it all depends on your body, how your surgery went, what actually was wrong with your knee.'

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall believes Chelsea will be stronger as a squad having embraced the challenge at the Club World Cup. Everyone mingles, we go out and do things – shopping, food, beach. So it's been good.' Chelsea, now 11 months into their 2024-25 campaign, have had a rocky path to the last eight having suffered a heavy defeat to Flamengo in the group stage and come through an extraordinary last-16 encounter with Benfica. That game in Charlotte featured a two-hour stoppage for a thunderstorm and the Blues eventually needed extra time before seeing off the Portuguese side. Dewsbury-Hall said: 'Obviously, the further you go, the closer you are to getting to the final. 'The feeling in the camp is to take it game by game and then, before you know it, we could be in a great position.' Chelsea's summer spending does not appear to be over with a deal for Borussia Dortmund's English winger Jamie Gittens reportedly close. The Palmeiras clash will also see them get a closer look at Estevao, the 18-year-old winger who agreed to join them last year and will do so after the tournament. Chelsea beat the Brazilian side 2-1 after extra time when they met in the final of the Club World Cup, under its old format, in 2023. Dewsbury-Hall said: 'Nobody is overlooking Palmeiras and we have seen South American teams in this tournament have been really strong. 'It's a challenge I'm looking forward to, and the lads are also looking forward to. So we will make sure we're all ready for it.'

Lionesses star Lucy Bronze has shed light on the camp's reaction to the tragic death of Liverpool striker Diogo Jota as they prepare for their Women's Euros opener England star Lucy Bronze says the Lionesses were left in shock when they learned about the death of Diogo Jota. The Liverpool star and his brother Andre Silva were tragically killed in a car accident in Spain, with the Portugal international passing away on Thursday morning. A moment's silence will be held before tonight's and tomorrow's Women's Euro 2025 matches, including Portugal's group stage opener against Spain. England will begin their own campaign on Saturday against France, and Bronze reflected on how she and her team-mates reacted to the news. 'Yeah it definitely shocked all the squad when we woke up this morning and the news started to spread,' Bronze said. 'Obviously we have a lot of Liverpool fans in our team and football fans, but for people in general, everyone is just thinking of them – him and his brother. 'They were so young as well. We have seen all the messages on social media and stuff so you can tell what a great guy he has been. It's just really sad and we were shocked by the news, really.' She added: 'We'll be watching the games tonight and Portugal play their first game against Spain and I know there will be a minute's silence held before that game. I think everyone in an England shirt and everyone in the tournament will be supporting the Portuguese team because they will be a lot closer to this than we are.
